When the silence came to overtake the place where the wolves of Oak Tree Bend had sung, Fenru, too, fell quiet. His eyes went first to his mother, and as Corinna called to Kisla, it occurred to him that the feelings that filled him were ones of being at ease instead of the jealousy and yearning he felt before. No, Corinna had called upon his sister because there were things that women, and the two of them in particular, had to do... and they would not need his, or maybe even Ice's, help. His fiery eyes turned away as the Leader affectionately acknowledged her daughter, and it surprised him as Ice did the same to him. An ivory arm draped across his dark shoulders as the new patriarch brought his tongue to the young man's face and muzzle with a satisfied growl.

Fenru returned the sentiment, pairing it with a hearty wag of his tail. After a few moments, Ice pulled away with him, the Tainn's eyes went, inquisitively looking his superior over. A playful and rather enthusiastic sound (similar to his characteristic "Rooo?") left his muzzle before the Leader nudged his shoulder in what seemed like an invitation. Glancing to the remaning women at his side, Fenru gave them each a heartwarming nod in farewell before bounding after Ice and disappearing into the shadowy leafage. In these new lands, no matter how dark and forbidding they might have been at first, there was much to be discovered; and, the young explorer, that still dwelled within Fenru's very being, wanted to make sure that every bit of territory was accounted for. At last, he would finally get a real chance at showing what he was worth and just what exactly he was capable of.

Their voices merged in a melodious song of claiming. No one for miles would doubt what was taking place this moment. The claiming of this airy section of forest with the huge old oak as a centerpiece. She still had mixed feelings about leaving her beloved Grove, but she was sure that it would not be long before she and the others made this patch of land their own all ways, not just voicing their claiming song. Soon, they would make memories and learn every inch of their new territory. Every leaf. Every tree. Every bend in the river.

It didn't take long once the calls died down before Corinna approached Kisla and the mother and daughter duo headed off towards the nearby water. Then Ice had a mock tussle with Fenru before the only two males present also took their leave to explore. She took a deep breath, memorizing the distinct mix of flora that had become their home. Her emerald gaze swept to to the two remaining pack members. Her beloved sister and their newest member, Tali. The other woman had stuck through the move with them, somewhat surprising for the trek had not been a walk in the park. The young woman had earned her respect for it though. Perhaps this really would be a new start for all of them.

Meeting Jessie and Tali's gaze, the second gave each of them a tired smile. "It seems that we need to learn the lay of the land and find some food. We'll have a pack hunt soon enough, but perhaps the three of us can find something to fill all of our bellies for the time being." She was tired, but duty came first and they needed to be sure that all was safe for their expectant alpha. Rest food and security were paramount for the pregnant fae and it was their duty to be sure that she had all three. The snowy fae turned towards the forest with a sense of excitement she hadn't felt in far too long and led the way into the future.
