Tola der Fe'hlien

Leaving the mountain had been difficult... but still far less difficult than everybody had made it out to be. Tola was a free spirit—had been since she took her first bold steps out into the world—and she had a carefree attitude that was likely to land her in a pickle one of these days. Ah, but Tola was still very naive and probably would have brushed off any notion that her attitudes toward life were anything but perfect. She was still under the impression that things would be just as easy out here as they were back at the mount.

She'd traveled for roughly one full cycle of the moon now, mostly north, and it was this afternoon that she traveled through the giant cedar trees, looking up at them in wonder and trying to guess how old they might have been. Older than herself, she knew that much, but older than her mother and father? Perhaps, although that was stretching it a bit. They were as old as dirt (or so they said).

Avalloc Branor

It dawned on him the other day just how attached he was to Swift River. To be quite honest, he could hardly remember the last time he ventured out side of the pack lands. So with a bit of thought, Avalloc left Swift River at sunrise with the sole intention of having a day to just hike and explore. You know, to finally leave the house sort to speak because as much as he loved Swift River, it could still make him stir crazy.

As he treaded regally through the forest he carried a faint smile, silently appreciating the change of scenery. Just being where he was reminded him just how much he missed the forest. It was then that he saw a gray furred female, seemingly minding her own business. For a moment he debated on whether or not to greet her, but ultimately decided it would have been rude (and not to mention awkward) to ignore her. So he closed the distance between them and came to a poised pause before her. "Miss," he said, "I noticed you from over there, and thought it would be rude not to say. I'm Avalloc Branor," he introduced with a charming smile, being his debonair self.

Tola der Fe'hlien

Tola's ears swiveled in the direction of the other. Had she not been so aloof, she might have noticed him earlier by scent or sight. Alas, she had been so mesmerized by the towering trees that seemed to reach past the heavens, so it wasn't until he greeted her that she had noticed him. Following her ears, her bright blue eyes landed upon his figure for a moment. Of course, through is scent and stance she had immediately recognized that he was a member of a pack, and she was to show respect appropriately. She may have been naive, but she knew how the system worked.

"Good afternoon, Avalloc," she replied, eyes sticking to his feet as he drew closer, "I'm Tola der Fe'hlien." She considered expanding on where she was from and how she had only just arrived in the area, but figured he probably didn't want to hear her short boring story. Surely he had better things to do with himself. Than sit around and listen to some girl ramble on.

Avalloc Branor

Avalloc watched her curious, not exactly sure of what her reaction would be. She showed him respect which struck him as odd, considering she was not in his pack nor were they on pack grounds. He would take it happily though, and thus, not mention it. "Nice to meet you," he replied to her in a calm and dignified manner. A nimble smile flushed his jowls and he fell into a sit. "If you don't mind me asking, where are you from, Tola," he asked. He had never seen her before, and yet again, Relic-Lore was huge so it was likely that it was so. He mainly asked because she may have come by his former pack. Who knew. There had been a lot of drifters when he had been home and perhaps she was one of them.

For whatever reason, Tola felt compelled to respect Avalloc. Not because they were in the same pack, but simply because it was her personality. Avalloc was naturally a more dominant male, and Tola was younger and a subordinate. "My mother and father are the leaders of a place called Mystery Mountain," she replied, "It's south of here, a few weeks or so." Tola doubted that Av knew of her former home, but there was always the off-chance.

"Are you from around here, then?" she inquired. Because Av was the first she had met here, she wasn't sure if there were lots of locals or not. She supposed it was a fifty-fifty guess as to whether or not he grew up here.
