Black Thorn Downs Gone a rabbit hunting

Stretching out her legs before her Luz let out a yawn as surveyed the area around her. She had let the snow collect around her still form the night before and it had provided as a great insulator to the night air as she had slept. Shaking her pelt to rid herself of the snow she blinked up at the misty sky. She liked the winter but she liked to see it and the fog and mist that had clung to the area made that hard to do. Lazily the pale girl began to trot forward. Her mind filled with things that she should do. Do border patrol, go hunting, or maybe see if she could go find a place to fish. She shivered at the thought. The water would be freezing and though her fur was warm now it wouldn't help her at all if she was wet.

Springing onto a stump she balanced for a couple of seconds as she thought. Finally she decided that she would go hunting. The pack always needed more food and with the weather seeming to be acting up who knew what it would bring. Springing back onto the snow covered ground she smiled. Even with the freezing temperatures she was going to try and enjoy today and if she actually caught something that would be even better. First though she wanted to see if anyone else wanted to go hunting with her. So tipping back her head she let out a howl. Maybe @Firefly would want to go with her. She would just need to wait and see. In any case even if her friend didn't show up she would at least try and catch something.
