Mathuin Whitebark
For Mr. @Savion || Morning, Heavy snow, 17 ° F, -9 ° C

He had woke up entirely covered in snow and cold as all get out. Mathuin had tried his best to shake off all the snow but with it coming down heavy he wondered if there was any point in trying to rid himself of the white fluff. He mosied about rather lazily, still tired from his slumber, not sure of what to do. It was cold and he felt a wee bit hungry. "Deer sounds so good right now!" He licked his chops and sniffed the air but nothing tickled his nose. What a disappointment!

Without much else to do the young male decided to run about. His large size made it easy to kick up snow but he was in no way graceful. His large paws thudded about the ground beneath him, his tail waved in the air like a banner and his tongue hung out of his mouth. He was certainly a sight to behold. He'd sometimes lower himself to barrel through the snow and let it push onto his shoulders and back. If his age wasn't obvious it certainly would be now with the way he childishly romped about the snowed meadow. It felt so good to be free!

Savion Selwyn
If asked Savion would insist that he wasn't going south to do that pretty face a favour. Because really, he wasn't. Sure, he'd thought about it,  but he'd never seriously considered bending to her whim just cause she'd shown him a good time. Plenty of girls had this month and he hadn't done them any favours and nor did he intend to from here on out. It was all harmless fun on his side, and if they got knocked up well it wasn't his problem. No one was going to chain him down, no matter how sweet they were.

Wasn't like ladies were the only ones who piqued his interest. He liked most handsome fellas when he saw them, it was just a shame they were all of the snarly disposition around here. None of them seemed interested in sharing his company, which was a damn shame now that he thought about it. Considering they'd all been easy on the eyes.

The snow was coming down hard and Savion couldn't help but grumble as he peered up at the sky. What was this about? Weren't it supposed to be spring round about now? Pah. His ears twitched and his eyes were snagged by a kerfuffle of movement ahead. It'd be wise for a loner-such as himself, in these lands anyway- to move on without calling attention to himself. But Savion had never been the sort to miss an opportunity to see a new face.

So ahead he waded, through the white and the snow till he came face to face with...What seemed like a giant puppy-and giant he was- faffing around in the snow like he'd never seen it before. Not quite what he'd had in mind but, he wasn't one to complain. He'd always liked them big and strong anywho, they were easy on the eyes and worth a good tussle. Scenting the air, Savion was quick to realise that they were indeed a male, which wasn't a problem. With an easygoing grin and his tail held high, he loped forward till he was in clear view.

"Well it looks like you're havin' a mighty fine mornin'. Don't stop at my expense, I like what I see."

Mathuin Whitebark
He was content to romp about through the meadow until his lungs collapsed. His breath streaming out in foggy wisps. Mathuin wasn't sure if he ever had this much fun. He kept his pace even until he heard the voice of someone else. His ears perked up as a rather goofy smile spread across his masked face.

"Well why don't you join me!" Mathuin called out completely unaware of a hidden undertone to the stranger's words. He seemed like a friendly older gentleman. The younger male bowed down into a play position and let his tail wave above in the air. A play bark signaled that Mathuin was ready whenever the stranger was. Formalities were certainly not at the front of the Whitebark's mind. He casually bounced side to side as his tail kept swaying above his back.

"Get me." The large yearling whispered before bounding off past the older male. He kept his gaze slow to let the other know he had every intention of getting caught even if he didn't openly act like it. His head turned back every now and then to make sure his company was tagging along. He was glad that the other loner had decided to join him. Mathuin had grown awfully bored of being alone so this was all a very needed interaction. "Come oooooon!" The large boy called out as he sped up just a bit more to keep things interesting.

Join him? Now wasn't that a funny request. Savion was a little too old to play such games, but even he has to admit that it looked as though the kid was having a whole lotta fun. Sure, it might not be The Comedian's usual means of having a good time but he had always been the sort to at least try something once. Really though, the main allure was the fact that it was a sure way of getting close to his new friend. It was a damn invitation, after all, and he wasn't the sort to say no.

The get me, though was irresistible.  Savion knew that he didn't mean suggestively, but damn if it didn't make him grin a little in anticipation. It was an offer he couldn't refuse, like dangling a piece of meat in front of a starving wolf.

"Oh it's on!" Savion rumbled, his voice as smooth as silk and yet as coarse as gravel.

Charging after he youngster, Savion revelled in the burn of his muscles and the wind brushing against his coat. It had been a long time since he'd chased someone like this p, or at least without the intension of ripping their throat open once he'd caught them. Sure, he could kill the kid, but why would he do that? He wasn't that bloodthirsty, he might be a killer but he liked to think he was civilised. Or at least in comparison to the common crook or fiend.

Being such a lard lad, the youngster wasn't so fast on their feet. Or at least to the degree where a bulky man like Savion would have trouble keeping up. From the way that he kept throwing glances over his shoulder the elder couldn't help but assume that he wanted to be caught, that he was so desperate for contact that this was just a preamble to the main course. That thought made Savion grin, a lewd, almost deviant sort of look. Oh his curiosity was piqued, he was eager to see where this encounter would go.

With an extra spurt of energy, Savion kicked his back legs off the ground and stretched out till his front paws connected with his new pal's rear. With all of his weight he dragged the kid to the ground and with an ooffffff he landed atop him, his legs splayed out awkwardly.

"Got you." He grumbled and as if to prove his point he gave his scruff a playful nip.

Mathuin Whitebark
Mathuin was enjoying every minute of the chase. He felt anxious waiting for his company to try and get him but that just made it better. Green eyes shimmered with that youthful joy. This was the kind of excitement he had left home looking for! Friends to romp with and fields to run through for days. It all felt so very right.

His large paws kicked up the snow and ate the ground beneath. The large yearling couldn't help but pant as the cold air stung his nose and lungs. He looked behind him again, content to see the older male still giving chase. His tail waved high and proud because he was convinced he couldn't be caught. Even if Mathuin truly did want to be tagged.

Before he knew it there was contact on his rump and he went down into the snow. Mathuin couldn't stop his giggling as the older male proclaimed his victory. The playful nip to his scruff was met with a kind rumble. It felt strange to be like this, pinned below a stranger, but at the same time, he didn't exactly feel like he was in any danger. If the male wanted to hurt him wouldn't he have done it already?

"What now?" Mathuin's green eyes looked up eagerly. The Whitebark was hoping that his company would have another game for them to enjoy.

There were all kinds of different ways the kiddo could have responded to Savion jumping on his back. For one, he could've screamed bloody murder like Savion was trying to tear off his nads. He might have burst into tears like a pup whose favourite stick had just been snapped. Or perhaps worst of all, he might've decided he didn't like this predicament and started barin' his teeth like Mr Snarly had done the other day. But nah, the Comedian had nothin' to worry about. This kid was real agreeable and that soothin' rumbling nose made it clear he took no offence, that he knew that Savion meant no harm.

Rumbling in return, Savion- somewhat reluctantly- untangled himself from the loner and shook himself off once he'd gotten to his feet. Wasn't that fun? A real nice boost to his system. He'd been nice and warm too, that large firm bod of his was covered in a nice fluffy pelt, the sort that'd do a fine job of lining a den's floor.

Good question though, what now? He was such an eager beaver though, weren't he? How sweet, a refreshing change of pace to say the least.

"Depends on what you're in the mood for kiddo. My name is Savvy by the way. How 'bout you? Naw, wait lemme guess. Is it..." He tiled his head in thought. An exaggerated gesture, to say the least. "Bob? Naw, you don't seem like a Bob to me. Come on, gimme a clue." He urged, giving him a head bump for good measure.

Mathuin Whitebark
Mathuin had to admit he wasn't very thrilled when the older male moved away. He was hoping they would wrestle or perhaps just share a few good pushes like that. The large yearling laid spread out on his back while the snow piled on top of him. His green eyes stayed eagerly trained on the yellow-eyed male.

He lazily moved onto his large paws once the other loner started speaking. The word Kiddo made him frown some. Sure he was young but he wasn't that young, was he? "I like that name. Savvy." He giggled and let his tail sway happily behind him. His dark coat was still powdered and damp from the snow. Mathuin was a real mess but at least it was just snow. His ears perked to listen to the graying man try and figure out his name. "It starts with an M." His tail swayed eagerly hoping that by some mysterious chance Savvy would manage to guess his name.

"Come on, I know you're smart enough to get it." He teased and kindly bumped back the male. The large yearling's head making kind but firm contact with Savvy's shoulder. A large grin formed on his face as he excitedly waited.
