Zeus Stone
The scarred white male traveled alone, content in his own company for the moment, uncaring of the beautiful spring day that greeted him. Thoughts of daisies and butterflies were far from his mind, for he was on a mission. One of revenge and payback. He'd been taking care of loose ends on his old life and one of those loose ends was his own daughter. He'd sent Roanoke ahead to scout the region that his tracker had found her. The traitorous little witch, Athena. She'd tried to kill him and he wouldn't forget that. She'd tried and failed and he'd make her pay dearly for that mistake before he ended her useless existence. Slowly and painfully. She'd marked him and every time he saw the gash that marred his face he burned with hate. He had to constantly remind himself that she was nothing and not even worth the air she breathed.

The irony of the fact that his every move centered around her right now was completely lost on the dark hearted male. Shaking thoughts of the witch from his mind, he focused on the trail of his son. A son to make him proud. Strong, intelligent and a perfect soldier. He knew strength and power and he knew how to follow orders. Roanoke's scent had grown much stronger than the stale whiff that he'd been following for weeks. Soon he'd be reunited with his son and find out what he'd learned. Then together they would hunt down and slaughter Athena, traitorous spawn that she was and all those that she held dear...

With a snarl he wondered where that traitorous @Athena was and if @{Roanoke} had managed to locate the witch. He really couldn't wait to sink his fangs into her throat as she'd tried to do to him so long ago. The long pink scar on his face twitched at the thought of her roaming free, living pretty all this time. He would make her pay. He and Roanoke both would grind her guts into the earth as it soaked up her own blood. The mad wolf could almost see it now and his pale ice blue eyes lit with a manic glee at the image and an almost angelic smile graced his snowy lips. .

Sorry it took me so long, I'm so busy! <3

The light of the day brought some ounce of unannounced joy to the Willow Ridge pack's day. For what felt like forever the rains had plagued them and he had been growing more tired by the day, his russet fur bringing even more weight for the already large tank to carry through the coming days. Finally, today though, the large Thorben happily had his coat dry. He flicked his russet tail behind him, deciding to take the perfect day and make it even better by going back to the falls, a place he had ended up falling in love with. Ever since he had first come here he had been transfixed with the waterfalls within the area. It was silent enough without voices bothering him, but the sound of rushing water beating against smoothed rocks brought a sense of calmness to him and Guiness found himself going to his place of peace whenever he had gotten the free time, but ever since the pups were born, he had not been able to get a moment of rest.

However, when he had finally been able to get out, he made sure that Skana or Tempest would always by their side. It still made the man wary when he left though, not knowing if they were going to be completely protected, even with his trustworthy sister there and his own partner. With an unfortunate sigh, he watched in content as the falls came into view, his long banner wagging behind him in delight. The red Guardian did not even realize that there was another wolf there with him, he simply stared in awe at the sight before him before making himself comfortably and plopping down on the damp ground.

The white male's glee was interrupted by the approach of another. A massive red specimen that Zeus would not have minded seeing as one of his minions. He was a powerful beast to be sure, but appeared caught up in some memory or thought, not even seeming to notice the large blue-eyed male that had already been there. He followed the red man's gaze to the waterfall and quirked an eyebrow. What could possibly be so interesting about water cascading down into yet more water? The power, majesty and beauty of the sight was lost on a wolf such as he. He didn't even truly value life, aside from his own, so what need did he have for 'beauty'?

Zeus looked over the male once more, not yet ready to make his presence known. He was a dirty fighter who gave no quarter, but he decided that a fight with this beast might not be in his best interest. He might not lose, but he was sure that the other could cause some damage. He needed to save his energies for the Betrayer anyways. Slinking away was certainly not the arrogant wolf's style either, so he decided to feel the broad male out. Perhaps even pretend to make friends with him. The very idea was ludicrous. He'd never had a friend in his life. Friendships were for the weak and he was not weak.

He cleared his throat and gave an apparently sincere smile as he introduced himself to the burly man. "Well, hello there. I see that you too appreciate the uh... beauty... of this place. I am Zeus Stone." He wagged his tail in a friendly manner to lull the other into a false sense of comradery, curious to see how he would be perceived. Zeus loved the game.

Sorry it took me so long. I hate myself.

The beautiful sight in front of him radiated the kind of power he felt on a day to day basis. The water would fall down in its cascading goodness and then crash into the rocks below, leaving a light mist spraying in anyone’s face if they were close enough to the water. The order of which things happened never changed with a waterfall, the exact same thing happened every day, as long as no interferences were involved. It was much like his life. He did the same thing every day, but if something intervened with his work, than he would have to make due until he was able to get back on track. Guiness had never had a problem following orders, especially when it had come from a woman that he dedicated his life to. The Guard would do anything to make her happy and pleased in a heartbeat. There was nothing else that mattered more, though his own blood did seem to matter to him. El understood things that involved his family and let him take a little bit of leave when needed to visit their neighboring pack, Whisper Caverns. The russet man had no problem with seeing Tempest, his sister, as they lived together. Though he had noticed that ever since the pups had arrived, he had been much busier than expected.

At the sound of approaching footsteps, even with the water pounding into the rocks below, his large head turned towards the uneven patter of paws. They did not match the rhythm of the water that he was so use to in normal circumstances and Gui found it easy to determine where the stranger was approaching him from. Golden amber eyes stared at the man in front of him, obviously much weaker than himself, and slightly smaller. At the question and name that was thrown at him, he quirked an eyebrow at the man, returning his gaze at the waterfall before him. He did not wish to be rude to the man, as he did not wish the brute to get the wrong impression of him. Letting the man stay where he was, Guiness simply watched him in his peripherals, speaking just loud enough for the man to hear, "Guiness." He flicked his tail behind him, noting in his head how emotionless his voice sounded. He had found that he had always been such a way when speaking to others, as he hardly used his voice unless in a business-like situation, or if one of his loved ones, or pack mates, were in danger. In the case he was in right now, there was no valid reason as to why he would need to strike conversation with this stranger.
