and the sky became a wonderful painted canvas. Gentle hues of orange and yellow cast a wane glow
upon the powdered land. Coquina travels at a rather steady pace. She winced every so often as she
grew closer and closer to the forest before her. The icy grip was spreading on her paws, causing
her pain in every other step she took. She slipped into the forest, and immediately felt relieved.
A light snowfall had begun as she neared the forest, lightly coating her gray-black back in snow.
Quin shakes herself off quickly before strolling forward. Her ears were raised as she heightened
her senses to get an idea of the area. Nothing in particular caught her attention. The scratching
of a squirrel on a trunk picked at her ears as she tried to ignore it.
Coquina sighs before continuing onward. Her walk is slow now, as if she is disappointed. There had
to be a pack nearby. She was hungry. She was tired. Her priority at the moment was to rest in able
to scout and hunt for a bit afterward. The least she could hope for was a scavenged rabbit. But oh,
if she managed to catch a live one, she would be ecstatic. It was a rather dumb idea to have left
her home pack before the winter, but it was to be a mistake to learn from. Quin now picks a tree and
begins to paw at the snow below it. She creates a small hole for herself. Slinking into the rest site
, she begins to circle before getting comfortable. With a light grunt, she settled, resting her head to the side.
