Vaeta Tainn
For @Mirren! @Nios, if he gets accepted and @Kite if she wants to stumble in.

Her excitement had surely gotten the best of her. The moment she thought it was okay to make way towards Secret Woodlands, Veata had darted off with what she assumed was a Kite in tow. Her limbs had carried her swiftly out and away from the Ghastly Woods that surrounded the Secluded Spring which was the foundation of her birth home. Being a quite swift wolf, the distance flew by her with an absolute ease with an ability to pace herself in a way a traveler knew very well. The woman surely had miles on her and the stretch from one end of the Blackberry Fields to the next meant little to her. The afternoon bright skies turned into late afternoon as the sun shown its brightest now before likely beginning to fall down from the top of the sky for the night. Her head turned over her shoulder to see if Kite was still with her, though the moment she hoped into the unknown lands of the Thicket of Secrets, she became lost by them.

Just as their name description entitled, the young woman got swallowed at the thickness of the forestry and in moments, she was no longer darting head first towards her brothers, but crawling and climbing into what she assumed was their direction was she navigated awkwardly enough the vine, bush, tree and brambles. Time was lost by her and the moment she came to a small opening in the forestry, she could see that the sky was alight in pink, orange and red as sunset washed over the lands of Relic Lore. It was a few paces more did finally the scent of other wolves catch her. She moved forest more and there, she found a scent marker of the territory. This had to be it! Instantly her head lifted, calling out desperately for her brother she had long now missed.

Kite Tainn
Vaeta was fast. Truth be told, Kite didn't exert herself to keep up with the other; she harbored her energies in case for some bizarre reason the Tainn turned out to be some wild-minded wolf who had every desire in the world to trespass and bring the Woodlands to ruin. But, as it turned out, Vaeta waited patiently outside the borders. Kite heard Vaeta call to Mirren, and in no time at all, Kite was at the side of Vaeta. I'll wait with you, she offers. Kite knew better than to take a stranger into the territory; her mother had never allowed it, so neither would she.

But Mirren was a prompt wolf, and never dallied. Nosing the ground at her feet, she could tell he was around as opposed to scouting, as she had been; her own scent might have faded slightly, and to amend this, the L'Crowe dropped to the earth and rolled, pressing her scent into the Woodlands borders again. She then rose, shaking the dirt off of her furs and darting into the territory some, to see if he was coming. Kite licked her chops and whined excitedly before turning to Vaeta.

I'd be so excited if one of my brothers came to visit me, she admitted as she trotted back to her, moving to sit on her haunches; Kite was willing to entertain until their summoned guest arrived. But her thoughts were truly in it, and Kite offhandedly remarked, Better yet if they stayed, that'd be cool, her voice is bubbly, excited... Ah, but, I don't think they'll leave home. And I'm sure the ones that have already found somewhere like me. I bet Mirren will be real excited to see you!

Mirren Tainn
Sorry for the wait, ladies <3

Since the recent births of Nina's children, Mirren had vigilantly stood watch. During the day he'd made it his business to round the borders, marking them accordingly and keeping a watchful eye for anything unusual or unwanted, and when his duties were fulfilled he made sure the queen was fed and had all that she needed. When the night came and once Nina had begun to recover, he returned faithfully to the quaint den he shared with Kite. It was strange─only a short time ago he felt like he'd lost everything, like he had nothing left. Dark were the winter days he spent roaming the wilderness, starving and without the brother who had always been his closest and constant companion. But now...now his life had been turned around. At minimum, the pack had come back from the brink of starvation, and on top of that the birth of the children had given them all something to look forward to and something to live for. And then there was Kite...His Kite. Still amazed by the girl who'd stolen his heart, there was little else he really needed in his life now.

Minus his family.

Yes, Mirren had left the Vale with his parents' blessings, parting ways with his brother and sister on good terms and with a lust to return to Copper Rock Creek. But that didn't make the lonely nights any easier without them there, and even if he loved his new family here, there was always that something missing, something that could never be replaced. Many times the Tainn had wondered if he would ever see any of them again. He wondered if Aeylen was happy without him and if he had younger siblings now; he wondered if Ruiko still ruled among the sequoia trees and if he would be proud to see that Mirren had done just what he'd set out to; he wondered when he'd see his sable-furred brother and his golden-eyed sister, whose wanderlust had always been fervent. Every day this crossed his mind. And every day that passed brought him closer to the resurrection of his father's legacy.

Deep within the twisting grove of Secret Woodlands as the sun hung heavily in the afternoon sky, the sound of her voice echoed like the whisper of a ghost through the trees. The tawny boy froze in his tracks, his russet and pewter-tipped ears flexing forward in attention as a chill ran down his spine. No amount of time could dull his memory of Vaeta, and even if it had been more than a year's time since he'd seen her last, a big brother could never forget a little sister's voice. That didn't change the fact that he could hardly believe his ears now. Could it really be? What were the odds, really.

Mirren cut through the forest like the rapids of a river, scouring the distance in between with long, quick strides. The wind cut through his fur, the beating of his paws against the ground nearly as loud as the beating of his heart in his chest. In what felt like the blink of an eye he reached the border, and as the sun began to set, he laid his eyes upon what was one of the sweetest sights. Just over a small knoll stood his sister and mate, both bathed in the warm glow of a setting sun. He blinked as the surprise set in, and for a moment he was as still as ice. And then he remembered to breathe."Vaeta?" His inked tail swayed slowly at his hocks, was this too good to be true? There was no point in keeping any sort of distance and he surely didn't want to. Bounding to the girls who were a sight for sore eyes, Mirren met @Vaeta with open arms.

Vaeta Tainn
She was eager - very eager and the excitement of it had her body quivering and her tail waving madly in the air. Surely this other female had not lied to her, had not given her false promises to be reunited with a brother that she had been waiting all winter and beyond to see once more. Vaeta was a very happy, open and honest wolf and to her, Kite seemed the same way. Perhaps the Tainn was a bit too trusting in this manner, though Kite had given Vaeta no reason not to trust her and so, she did trust and put her hope within her. She prances, finding herself pacing at the border as Kite darted within territory lines, marking herself along the borders. Vaeta whined, excitement causing her to pant as her long limbs paced ever more so, unable to settle as she awaited her brother to adhere her commands for him to come to her side as he had done time and time before when they were children. The other woman spoke of her own brothers, of wishing to see them, of the likely chance however that she would not. It was sad, really, for although Vaeta loved to travel she could not imagine doing so for long enough, or far enough that it would keep her from never seeing her family again. They meant far too much to her.

She pauses, only to smile deeply to Kite, who's coat was alight like fire as the skies sunset danced over their coatings of tawny and timbered hues. ...And then... he arrived! A loud and pleasurable squeal echoed from her mug and in seconds, she was charging as he came to greet them. Her paws lifted, long limbs aiming to ether wrap around him or slam him uncomfortably in the chest as she aimed to knock him over in a form of rough play. Her parents had always wondered if perhaps her brothers would be too rough with her as a child - but no! Oh, they had tried to much to be delicate with their sister, but she nips at their ears and pulled their tails and tumbled with them as aggressively as they did one another. It was the same manner as she did now, as though they were still children, as she attempted to rough him up and dominant him within the thick forestry of what would hopefully be home.

Vaeta, tackle the shit out of him, why don't ya. :>

Kite Tainn
Vaeta was silent, for which Kite couldn't really blame her; what could be said to all that sentiment, to a stranger? She could be too open for her own good, but Kite was a little blind to that. Although she had faced some semblance of the coldness others could possess in the times she was chased off time and time again... here she was reminded of the warmth others could offer and share. In the distance she heard something (just as she was beginning to wonder where Mirren was, and when he would show)... and the light in his eyes was unmistakable. Kite herself looked like a giddy child, a shit-eating grin on her face, openly expressing with her whole being the statement HEY, LOOK WHO I FOUND! even though, really, they had found each other. Quite like they had, themselves. Good things came from this place. And now, family could be reunited.

Kite watched as he processed it, and even though she knew he would aim for her as he always might, she swiftly stepped out of their trajectory. This was not her moment, after all. She was not selfish, and could hoard her no longer. She also would not overstay her welcome, but in the moment, Kite—while they collided and pawed at one another—thought to suggest that Vaeta should Stay!, which she hoped the lovely agouti wolf would.

And in a moment of awkwardness, Kite looks to the distance. Uhm, ah, you two probably have a lot to catch up on... I can... come back? While she values Mirren's word the most, always, her eyes in this instance fall to Vaeta. Kite respected the other enough in the moment to give her what she desired. If she had the chance to, surely she would not mind the alone time to catch-up. But she did not want to run off, per say, without them knowing it was without ill intent.
