He had had his fun. It was over know with his little Haine gone. Perhaps he should have gone to look for her; as she was such his precious little gem. Yet he decided it might have been time to head back to his siblings and nephew. Of course he wasn't willing to do so right away. The aging healer knew there was much to see and he wanted to see it all. Who knew...these could be his own lands one day. While the thought was tasteful Vali was well aware there was one wolf standing in his way. Garmr. That wretched brother that he loved so much. It was like a poision he didn't want to get rid of.
In his hopeless wandering through the timless woods he had found a spot where the sun broke through. A place that made him think that Fenrir himself had blessed the lands. In a place full of filthy mutts it seemed there was a place for the wolves like Vali, if there was any, to relax. A wonderful loch that seemed like a piece of the sky had fallen. It was weird how the sky reflected off the water so perfectly. Perhaps he had been draw to this place because of its purness.
Stepping towards to body of water so it could lightly kiss his toes it was still chilling. Not warm enough for a swim but not cold enough to fully avoid. Somewhere inbetween the two that had Vali allowing it to rise up to his ankles. Washing away the mud that had clung to his legs on the travle. The aging healer could finally take a break. Clean himself and rest his paws. Hopefully he could even clean himself of the filth that clung onto his fur. A good grooming was in need.
