For perhaps the first time in their entire relationship a conversation that the pair held did not widen the canyon that was their relationship. This could even be described as the first step in a long process of building a bridge between them. Kyna's chuckle and the emotion in her voice were not lost on Aponi but the mother in turn had no ability to recognize them or label them, or even how to properly deal with them. It was a small bridge that they were building after all, it would take a long time before they could have anything resembling a normal mother-daughter relationship, if they would even get there at all.

A smile broke across Aponi's face once more as she nodded once firmly, "I would like that very much, and for you to meet your younger siblings." Or sibling, if her curse of only producing one living child in each litter continued. The thought darkened her mood slightly but the mother hid it away from her expression, now was not the time. Gesturing with her muzzle towards the borders the silver wolf took a step away, "Come now, let's see if we can find Lila and Serach. And perhaps on the way we should discuss an alliance between our packs." Their personal relationship may need some work, but this was no reason for them to not begin a positive political one.

Taking only a single glance towards the gift that Kyna had brought Aponi chose to leave it behind as her stomach rolled in protest. Then the silver wolf led her daughter through the trees that had once been her home.
