Sacred Grove There's a revolution coming

Her reasoning was sound enough to him, not that he particularly cared as to why. He merely shrugged his shoulders in response, satisfied with her answer and not seeking any further clarification on the matter. If she wanted to spy on him to make sure he didn't drop dead then that was her choice. As long as she didn't annoy him he would let her be.

Since she had not sought him out for another lesson his thoughts returned back to the nap he had briefly thought about before being interrupted. It was peaceful here, and as long as she didn't jabber on in his ear then perhaps he could get some shut eye before needing to do more jobs back at the Backwater.

"Well I'm afraid there isn't much to see, unless you plan on watching me sleep?" Rochus didn't wait for an answer before moving towards the closest tree and gently scratching around at the roots to make a comfortable spot to lay down.

A snort, a roll of her eyes.

"Nah."

Lame. Even if...a nap didn't sound too bad. Maybe he was on to something. Not that she would ever say that, of course. They had an understanding among one another. One that did not require her to worship the very ground he walked on.

So she meandered off, prepared to take a nap of her own underneath another tree further off. Somewhere semi-private, back protected by the gnarled roots. She figured that if he woke up first, she could still hear him take off from here. Probably.

Whatever, not her problem right now. The only thing she was worried about was this nap.
