Weldering Darksidy
The black masked young male was always making quick quips and jokes, it was his slightly more immature side to him that quite often showed itself. He really was just a big kid sometimes with the brain of a yearling. Yet he could tell the topic was something that was close to both of their hearts, delicate and certainly a sore talking point. "It's ok, I know what you mean." He reassured, extending one of his forepaws to gently nudge her. "I feel the same I suppose. It's nice to have someone that understands." Someone that knew what rejection felt like as well as the long hardships of living as a Lone Wolf for most of their lives and then having to adjust to being a pack wolf. It was not an easy job and maybe this was the reason, or one of them, why Weldering seemed to bump into trouble around every corner. He was constantly having issues with authority and it was a bit of luck and a friendship so far that kept him on Alexander's good side.

As she continued by expressing her concerns on whether or not she fit into the pack he frowned lightly as he glanced back toward her. "Orderly? How so?" He asked hoping that she might shed a little bit more light on her predicament or what part of pack life she was struggling with the most.

Adonia Valde
"It's probably just nothing and me over-reacting too much about change, but it's just the pecking order most likely. I mean, it's hard for me to get used to since I spent all that time alone and without anyone else, by myself. There was no one that I had to respect, and no one that was above me. I could say whatever I wanted and not be punished. Here.. well, there's a much thinner wire that you're trying to cross. One false move and it breaks in half without any previous warning." Adonia shrugged, looking back up at him. "I'll probably get over it though. It just takes me a while to change my ways. Although I don't think my snappy attitude towards most will really ever change." The she-wolf said, smiling mischievously.
Thinking to herself, Adonia re-called her goals of trying to change herself to fit in more. For a long time she had never had any friends, that much was a given as a loner. She barely met anyone. It would take her a bit of time to get used to all the faces around now.

Weldering Darksidy
Once again he found himself easily understanding how Adonia was feeling. It was the same concerns that frequently crossed his own thoughts when he lost himself in his daydreams. Weldering was constantly doubting himself, doubting if he was really pack material. On the flip side he certainly did not want to be alone and since joining Midnight Plateau he had made several good friends that he did not wish to lose. It was worth being a little bit uncomfortable as he adjusted to pack life for that. "Mmm.. I'm still like that. I've always had a problem with authority." He grinned, right now he found it rather amusing though it was quite a serious issue. "I say and do a lot of things without really thinking first. I guess I've always been used to doing what I've always wanted too." He shrugged, guessing that perhaps Adonia could relate with him there.

"I'm sure we will both be fine. I mean Alex is pretty cool, not like my last Alpha.. the pack I was thrown out of." Neither was Alex anything near as bad as what Indru was - in Weldering opinion of Indru of course. "While it may seem awkward being in a pack there are far more benefits, it's worth staying."

Adonia Valde
The female wolf smiled at Welde in return, once again it seemed, for the umpteenth time. I've always had a problem with authority... he has said, with that silly grin of his. On the outside, he seemed really different than she. Welde towered over her, but was a softy at heart. Adonia was small, but could be quite snappy. Although, sometimes she could be friendly. Only sometimes, though. But yet, were the two of them so different? Their pasts were the same, as well as their fears. The white wolf was pretty sure that if they chatted for a longer time, more similarities would be uncovered. This thought of having someone, really anyone, did really make her happy and bring a slight grin to her face. If there was one wolf, would there not be more? And although she still felt slightly selfish for it, there would be more who, like her, had come to these lands, driven away from packs who no longer wished to accommodate them? She now felt like she saw Welde in a new light. From acquaintance to friend, was that it? She wasn't completely sure, but something was definitely... amiss. Probably not in a bad way but... things had changed.

As Welde continued, the smile slightly faded away into a more serious look. "Now now, Welde. You have to learn to obey your superiors!" That tone didn't stay for long though, and melted into a teasing grin of her own. She truly realized that she felt more comfortable than she had for a long time. Once the wolf beside her finished, Adonia considered his words. benefits in remaining with a pack? We'll see... Hopefully... you're correct, she thought to herself. But, I have a strange feeling that you are.

Now content, the she-wolf turned to the mouth of the cave. With a jolt of surprise, she realized they had been there for a long while, now. How could time pass so quickly? Ah well, who cares. She was having quite a bit of fun, so what the weather is outside couldn't stop her! The sun was setting now, but nimbus clouds loomed ominously in the distance.

Weldering Darksidy
Time really was beginning to fly by as they sat there just inside the cave. The sun was dipping below the horizon and far less light was finding its way into the mouth of the Tainnsidy Caverns. If they stayed around for much longer then it was very quickly going to be completely dark and much colder. "Look how late it is." Letting out a little huff in surprise as his blue eyes scanned the world outside. "Would you follow an order from me? Allowing me to walk you home?" He asked with a toothy grin wondering if she had the same issues with following orders - even though Weldering was of course only joking. Sure he was a little higher in the pecking order but unless it was something serious he would never start using that against any of the others in Midnight Plateau. Slowly the large silver and black masked male lifted himself up ready to leave but waiting to hear if she was in fact willing to accompany him, or rather let him escort her.

Adonia smiled at his words and quickly considered the offer.
"Sure," the female wolf replied. "I'd like that."
Adonia stood up and stretched, her muscles slightly stiff from all the sitting she had just recently done. Suppressing a yawn, she turned and gazed over at Weldering again before beginning to leave the mouth of the cave. After reaching the entrance, she turned her head back to see if he was still following. "C'mon, slow-poke!" She grinned, teasing him. "It'll be dawn before you get your bones all the way over here!"

Laughing, she turned around again and braced herself for the sprint that she figured would be coming after these words. I'd beat him, no problem. Adonia thought to herself with a smirk. Easy.

Scuffing her paws on the ground, she looked around again to see if he'd moved from that spot yet.

Weldering Darksidy
He was already standing ready though begun to stretch out his large forepaws as she replied, flexing his toes. He was fairly sure that she would not mind the company on the journey back to their packlands, they had so much in common after all. That and he already considered Adonia as a new friend of his. That meant that he at least now had three friends in the pack, her, Atiris and their Alpha Male Alexander. Though Weldering had to admit that he had not really had a chance to speak to Alexander much at all. Being an Alpha was a busy job and a full time one at that.

'C'mon, slow-poke!' He chuckled lightly as he begun to stride forward. The good thing about having a large and broad figure was his steps were also large therefore covering plenty of distance. However Weldering was not agile and Weldering also lacked any sense of grace. As a yearling he had fallen over too many times to recall even breaking his ribs after tumbling down the side of a mountain path on one of those occasions. "A race!?" He exclaimed still grinning as he attempted to get into his stride and catch her up. "That's not fair!" He chuckled again knowing already that he would never be as fast as she was, but it did not hurt to have some fun and give it a try.

Adonia Valde
The female grinned as Weldering ambled over towards her. "All's fair in love and war!" she quoted, swatting playfully at the male's maw as he drew near. Adonia could be very competitive at times, and always wanted to win, whether she was at a disadvantage or not. This time she seemed sure of herself, and Weldering could probably see the confidence that was emanating from her being. Or, maybe not. Sometimes she could keep her emotions to herself.

Either way, if Welde looked her in the eye, he would probably see the ambitious sparkle in her eyes.

Now turning around to see what the land around her had to offer, she noticed that there was a potentially dangerous race track. Climbing up hadn't been easy, so getting back down on the ground surely wouldn't be either. It seemed like it would be very easy to simply slip, fall, and hurt your head on one of the sharp rocks jutting out from the side of the steep slope. Or they could take the longer path, but even then the width of the passageway was terrifyingly small, and a wolf that was too excited, like herself for example, could push the competitor off the edge, or even fall herself!

Not wanting Welde or herself getting hurt, she said, "Well, I suppose we could wait until we get down to flat land to have that race of ours."

Weldering Darksidy
Wrap this up here? :]

A race was certainly something he wanted to eschew, though continued to hold a steady pace anyway just so he could keep up with her. 'All's fair in love and war!' He could hear her laughing back at his comical complaint and yet it still did not fill him with much confidence. He'd been hopeless with love and during the only war he had ever been in - well it had not gone that great either.

'Well, I suppose we could wait until we get down to flat land to have that race of ours.' Humming to himself between strides he thought the offer over. His blue eyes drifting toward the rocky paths ahead. It would certainly be easier for him and therefore more fair on flat ground. "Alright. We'll have a race later in the valley?" Perhaps not straight away as it was still beginning to get dark, but in a couple of days maybe. Weldering continued to lope forward, his steps more casual now and not so racey. "Let's go home." He grinned finally catching her side - for now.
