Already Mel could sense a friendship forming, and she enjoyed that feeling. She had yet to make any friends, so if Reba was her first, it meant a lot to her. She was so friendly, and Mel liked that about her. Taking note of how her smile had faultered when she mentioned coming from Alaska, Melody had to wonder if something tragic had happened to the fae, but decided it would be better not to ask at the moment. After hearing her question, Mel responded, <b>"Well, I do have a den, but it is a bit late I suppose. And I'd like to know my newest friend better!"</b> A smile graced her lips.
Though it had been a long journey, through harsh weather and terrain, Melody knew that she had found a place to <span class='word'>cleave</span> to. This would forever be her home, this beautiful place, and she was glad that it was so. And now, she had a friend, which added to the comfort of the area. Everything in Melody's life seemed to be going so well! Though deep within, Mel knew of the bad things that come with life, but she'd always chosen to not keep them in mind. Any day where she could wake up the next morning was a good one.
