Give me your tired,
Your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free…..

Bramble Falls. Her absolute favorite place to be. Finn padded along
silently, her paws itching to feel the cool crispness of the water flow
around them. A small smile was plastered upon her elegant muzzle,
chocolate eyes gazing ahead. The soothing rush of the falls soon
entered her ears, and the energetic female bounded forth, her silver-
gray peltage shimmering softly within the sun’s light. Would she fish?
Would she swim? These decisions were oh so hard to make when-
ever she was near water. Perhaps…perhaps she would do both!
Yes! It sounded absolutely splendid to her.Splash.

Into the water she had gone, skin prickling at the cold temperature of
the water. It felt rather pleasurable, though, for it was quite warm out.
She dunked her head under the water briefly, bubbles arising from her
nostril like an underwater volcano. Bringing her small head above the
surface, she chuckled slightly, obviously enjoying her time spent alone.

Feel it.

It was warm, and he was thirsty. The brute brought his large frame along,
pale eyes gazing at the ground as he went along. Grasses and dirt chang-
ed to small pebbles and rocks as he approached the falls, unaware as to
what would be in store for him. His black-tipped tail swayed as the sounds
of plummeting water entered his right ear. Jaws unclamped from one
another, letting a pink tongue loll out in a pant. His massive white paws
began to bring him forth at a quicker pace, anxiety growing within him.

Suddenly, a familiar scent tickled his nostrils. What the Hell was it?
The thought of water escaped Jedd’s mind as his eyes now narrowed,
curiosity pulling like strings on him. It seemed…so familiar. Too
familiar. With a rather irritated grunt, he continued forth, now moving as
if he were a ghost. Gray-black peltage was dappled by the light from the
canopy of trees above. The scent was growing stronger….stronger….
stronger. He began to quicken his pace now, aggravated that he could
not recognize the scent.

Holy shit.

It was her. Was he imagining things? Hallucinating? Had he eaten
some sort of mushroom he should not have? No. This was real. This
was happening. Jedd could feel a knot within his throat form. It was
tight- he felt as if he could not breathe, yet he continued to do so in a
struggling manner. Finn. His sister.

”Long time no see, little sister.”

His voice was smooth and deep, but threaded with an acidic hatred. If
the devil had come to the earth, this is what he would sound like. Jedd
crept forth, his head low, eyes gazing at his sister with a hidden blood
lust. He could not believe he had found her- and so unexpectedly. It
was about damn time.

Finn turned at the words that entered her ear. Little sister? She
turned, seeing Jedd. Chocolate eyes widened in surprise, her
jaw dropping. Suddenly, her tail began to wag furiously. So
furiously, it seemed it was about to fly off into the water behind
her. ”Jedd!” she cooed out, elated face glowing. She
pranced forth now, small paws dancing upon the rocks beneath
her. ”Oh Jedd! It feels like it’s been forever, I am so sorry for
leaving… I did not know how much I would miss everyone!”

She continued forth, the smile now ear-to-ear on her gentle
little face. It seemed that she did not notice the grave tone in
Jedd’s voice- or did she just ignore it? She skidded to a halt
about two feet away from her brother, chest heaving from her
bouncing around. Her eyes seemed to glow in the light, casting
a honey hue into her syrup shaded eyes.

Finn now leaned forth, her head lowering. The top of her head
was aiming to rub along the bottom of her brother’s jaw, but what
was to come next would take her by total surprise.

Yes, that's right. Come closer. Closer....

Jedd could feel his paws begin to knead the earth in terrible excitement as
his sister neared. She was so damn bouncy it made him sick. He let a fake
smile tug at his lips, although it pained him greatly to do so. "...I am so sorry
for leaving!..."
Hah! Yeah, right. Did he look stupid to her? It took almost all
of his might to not growl at her. Within the next moment, though, she was right
under his chin- perfect.

Jedd swiftly swooped beneath her head, latching onto her neck. His grip tightened
as he heard her cough, and he brought his massive body forth, forcing her onto the
ground. His fangs pierced her flesh, and a sick wave of satisfaction coursed through
his body. Releasing her, he stepped back, snarling. "You're not sorry, bitch. You
should have never left. I told you not to. Ma and pa said you would make a good
leader one day, and I was willing to take place as second."
It was true. His sister
had great judgement skills, and there was no doubt she would be a powerful leadess.
No longer would this be capable of coming true, though.

After his small hasty speech, Jedd circled his sister, biting into her shoulderblades. He
furiously whipped his head side to side, feeling her delicate flesh tear. Her fur came off
in large chunks, covered in her bright red blood.

The pain. The terrible pain...

Her brother was so nimble with his actions, she had no time to respond. The
feeling of his jaws around her neck was absolutely terrifying. His fangs sank
into her flesh, causing extreme agony throughout her upper body. She coughed,
struggling to free herself from this massive beast who was once her brother.
Adrenaline flowed throughout her veins, but did not assist her well enough to escape.
She hit the ground with a thud as he forced her down. She felt helpless.

He struck once again. Her sooty brother moved like a blur around her, his ivory fangs
now making contact with her shoulderblades. A sickening cry escaped her maw, a
mix of a howl and yelp. Her chocolate hued eyes closed as she bit her tongue, attempting
to endure the pain as best as she could. It seemed impossible. Was she going to die?

"Jedd! Stop! Please! Ma and pa... would they want you to do this?? Just please...please.."
Pain brings desperation, and that's what she was in. She trusted her brother, but what
had he become? Had he been watching her this whole time? Finn began to pant heavily,
blood on her shoulders soaking the fur around the wound.

Jedd listened as his sister pleaded him to halt his vicious actions. No. Why
should he listen to her? Shee left the pack; she betrayed their parents. He
was currently sick of traitors. Now fueled by the hatred of Poison Pack, Jedd
had no pity nor mercy for his wounded sibling. This is why he had come here,
after all.

"Quiet, Finn." he hissed, rolling his eyes after her pathetic yowl. He came forth
now, smiling as she struggled to get up. He brought a paw forth, shoving her back to
the ground. "You won't have to worry about seeing me anymore..." he smiled a
sickening smile, one that was of true bloodlust. Walking past her, he suddenly craned
his neck downward, snapping into her right hind leg and tearing her flesh. Bringing his
head back up, he released a small titter before rinsing himself off well in the falls. No one
would ever find out.

"If you tell anyone" he snarled "You will be ended. I promise that." With that,
he vanished, her blood scent not to be traced on him. It all happened so fast...

Finn lay helpless as her brother tore into her yet again. She wanted to cry,
but she felt as if that would give him even more sick satisfaction that he had
already. As he rinsed himself off, she lay in horror, wincing. Little Finn prayed
that he would leave her be, and he did. He dissapeared like nothing had ever
even happened. It was scary. She was scared. No, she was terrified.

There she lay, bleeding. She could smell her own crimson liquid of life slowly
escaping her. What was she going to do? She released a pathetic howl, one
that hurt her to do so. Oh, how she hoped one of her pack mates would hear
her. With her luck, now, it would be that a dark-hearted wolf would find her.
Fine! She was injured enough anyways.

With so much pain, she thought she was going to slip into shock. Trying to remain
awake, she waited patiently, keeping hope strong within her severly weakened
body. Who would come to save her?

Ash Hervok
It was a peaceful calm day, the air was cool and Ash was laying around bored out of his mind, lost in his own thoughts. Before a tortured howl brought him back to his senses. He knew that howl, that tone. All the wolves he had met so far were friendly and Ash knew he would help whoever it was.  As the large brown male stood up and ran in the direction of the howl he couldn't help the slight fear that was coursing through his body. The male had only met two other female's besides Finn and they were in the other direction from here.  Picking up his pace, Ash howled his presence as he crashed into the clearing, his eyes wide with fear.

There in the middle of the clearing lie  Little Finn. <i>His Finn.</i>  With a quick leap he was instantly by the smaller wolf's side his nose poking at her shoulder gently.  Her silver fur coated in blood, fear was obviously on him. She was injured pretty badly and with a small whine he spoke, <b>"I can't heal. Finn its Ash. What happened?"</b>

She could hear herself breathing.

In, out, in, out.

Her chest rose heavily with each breath, her lids half covering her eyes.
Suddenly, there was a crash from the bracken, and Finn winced, expecting
more pain to arrive. No. It was different. Ash? Her vision was slighly blurry,
and her chocolate eyes attempted to meet his gaze. "Huh?" Finn mumbled,
a frown on her maw.

The question came into her ears, and she had quite the delayed response. "I,
er....I...I dunno."
she said. Her words were slurring, and she closed her eyes
for a brief moment. Stay awake. You can do it. She continued to breathe heavily
but steadily. It was lovely that Ash had arrived, but she could use another wolf as
well- one from her pack.

"Howl...for..Swift River wolf..." she mumbled, her eyes rolling back for a brief
moment. Her body was telling her to slip off for awhile so she could rest. The pain
was undescribable as she lay there, the sun's warmth on her pelt. It was only a
few minutes ago that she was enjoying a nice swim....and now this.

Ash Hervok
The brown male watched as his close friend lie helplessly in pain. He needed to do something, and quick before it was too late. <i>Call for a Swift River wolf.</i> How the hell was he supposed to do that? Guess he would have to see if what he was thinking was correct. Lifting his large muzzle to the sky he howled, long, deep, and vicious. The howl meant, "hurry pack mate is injured." Ash could only hope that other wolves got the message. With a reassuring smile at Finn he spoke softly, <b>"Hey, keep your attention on me beautiful. Don't lose sight of me."</b>  Terror was unbecoming in Ash's eyes. He would have to do something and quick before Finn lost too much blood.

Glancing around the area everything seemed Foreign to him. He didn't know anything. <b>"What can I possibly do?"</b> He wanted to help his crush. Her mind and soul were still in his heart and he couldn't believe the flirtatious, fun, loving wolf that he had seen by the stream weeks ago was now lying before him, injured and hopeless.
I think I've finally seen the light..in you.
