Weldering Darksidy
Borlla first please! Also this is set on the border.

Last time he had been so close to the borders of the Swift River pack he had met Borlla's brother Ruiko. Fortunately for the black and silver painted loner the second in command was not to bothered by the appearance of the loner making him all the more confident that taking Borlla back to her home would not be a problem. He could not begin to imagine the guilt he would feel if he was to walk away and leave her and something was the happen. Yet once again here he was doing the Swift River pack a favour while constantly taking verbal and mental abuse and disrespect from more then one of their members. It was fair to say he was not fond of the Tainn family yet held a mutual respect for them to avoid any problems.

Finally making his way through Sacred Grove the scent markers ahead was prominent and clear, Weldering could not take any steps further and from now on Borlla would be on her own. Least she would be safe now, very few predators crossed into the heart of a marked territory even if it was owned by a wolf pack. <b style="color:#0d5b8c; font-family:geogia; font-size:13px">"Here we are. I can't go any further then this." His muzzle turning back to face Borlla now that he had paused. <b style="color:#0d5b8c; font-family:geogia; font-size:13px">"How's the fish?" he asked wondering if she had managed to carry it without any issues. It certainly had kept her quiet throughout the trip.

Borlla Tainn-Argyris
For the entirety of the trip, Borlla hadn't said one word. It probably had something to do with the over sized fish that had been stuffed in her mouth, but she was sure that if the fish wasn't there...Well, she still probably wouldn't have said anything. Nerves had really taken over, but Welde had told her that he wouldn't tell Indru. She'd hold him to that, or he'd suffer the consequences. Hauling the fish over tree roots and around bushes hadn't been easy, but any help that would have been offered would have been denied as well. She could do it.

They arrived at the border, and she dropped the fish on the ground, taking a breath of fresh air. "Thanks." She gave him an unsure smile, carefully watching the area past the border, wondering if she should really cross it or just make a break for it. Avoid anger for a little while longer. Despite his promise, Borlla was sure that Indru would somehow find out about her little escapade. Her eyes glanced down to the fish as he asked how it was, "It's okay. A little dirty, I think." Her jaws hurt, and she ground her teeth together for a moment. "I-I..." She fell into silence, and sat, watching with stony blue eyes the land across the border.

Indru Tainn

Ruiko had told Indru that he had found Borlla far from their pack borders one day, and Indru himself had found her once before trying to sneak away and coupled with the very recent incident where she was escorted back with Marsh the Tainn had taken it upon himself to watch her. As clearly the yearlings in his pack where incapable of performing even one of their duties. Leathery nose to the ground Indru trailed the faint scent of his youngest sister, and lifting his head back up to the air and scenting he could see already the direction she had been heading. With an annoyed grumble Indru began to follow her at a steady run, stopping occasionally to check he was following the most recent trail before starting again.

As he neared the borders Indru smelt a fresh scent, very fresh, and briefly he wondered whether she had only travelled to the edges of the pack's borders, but it was then he caught the scent of Weldering and he dashed the thought aside. Indru approached slowly, catching the tail end of muffled conversations and was already imagining the scenario to be something similar to what happened with Marsh. Your making a habit of this Borlla. Indru called out hoping to make her jump even if he suspected Weldering would of noticed his arrival, Borlla was not yet so skilled. His voice was stern and the annoyance was clear, but it was less at the pup and more at the situation and danger she put herself if.

Weldering. Indru greeted, nodding slightly to the male as he approached the pair still, stopping near Borlla and leaning down to sniff her gently, checking she was unharmed. As much as he doubted Weldering would do her harm, the male didn't seem the type of maliciously hurt a puppy, he would of been stupid not to check. Thanks for returning her. Indru drifted his eyes back down to Borlla, frowning at her and quite clearly waiting for an explanation, she had been warned by him and Ruiko to not stray so far.

Weldering Darksidy
As Borlla put the fish down taking her time to rest now that she had safely reached the border he did not mind standing here for a few moments. Let her catch her breath and take a break before making the final and smaller leg of the journey alone back to her den. Being so close made him feel awkward but he knew the whole time he could not just leave her alone. Who knows maybe the young female pup would remember this favour he paid her in years to come but for now the simple thank you was warmly met as he smiled and nodded back. <b style="color:#0d5b8c; font-family:geogia; font-size:13px">"No problem." He muttered back while his gaze moved down towards her fish, it still seemed fine and because she had carried it this far he doubted she would give up now, it was her trophy. It was just like how he had a trophy of his own though his he kept a secret and had stashed when he first arrived in Cedarwood Forest. He would reclaim it again later when he found a den to move into.

It seemed as though Borlla was just about to say something as his ears were cupped forward ready to listen when they were interrupted by a familiar voice. As Indru expected Weldering had heard the sound of his beating paws making his way closer and the thick Tainn scent on the breeze, Weldering had not flinched one tiny bit. He actually felt more disappointed if anything only looking up briefly to nod in response to Indru's greeting and showing the minimum amount of respect necessary to be polite to the Alpha. But poor Borlla had been caught red handed after he had promised to keep it a secret and for now he kept silent just debated whether to slink away or not.

Borlla Tainn-Argyris
Without a lick of warning, she heard Indru's voice, and started, sucking in a quick breath. A moment later, he appeared, and she tried to keep her spirits and courage up. She hadn't done anything wrong. He wouldn't know where she went. "What?" She whined, in response to his call. It wasn't like she'd gone anywhere far...Right? It was her act, she was bound to keep it up.

"I met Welde and he taught me how to fish! You should be nice to him." A slightly lousy attempt to turn the attention away from herself, but in her attempt to keep her story innocent it felt very right. "See look! I even caught a fish!" She looked down at the larger one, and suddenly remember that she'd forgotten to bring the remains of the smaller one back. "Well...I kinda ate it. But-but..." Her voice trailed off at his frown, and she dropped her eyes.

Indru Tainn

Her innocent question did nothing to direct Indru's attention away, if anything it annoyed him furhter from her inability to take responsibility. She tried to divert the attention to Weldering, telling him of their exploits and other than offer him a nod of thanks for the teaching he had given, he kept his glowering eyes on her. He was impressed she had caught a fish, suspecting she had some help, but he did not let it show. Well unless Weldering taught you how to fish in the middle of our pack borders you've disobeyed me and Ruiko again. At his sarcastic suggestion at trespassing he shot Weldering a look to show that he knew that it was not the case, especially as he had not smelt Weldering anywhere beyond the Swift River borders.

He watched Borlla with displeasure, a low grumble in his throat. You don't understand the dangers Borlla, it is very irresponsible. You met Weldering, but he could of easily have been a lynx or a bear, or even a lone wolf that was not so friendly towards pups. Indru lifted his paw to try and chuff her gently, though perhaps harder than he would in play, to help reinforce the teachings. What would you of done if an angry bear had come? No doubt it would of found her as Indru wouldn't be entirely surprised if she tried to face it on her own to show how impressive she was. As the last pups that Rihael and Lani had they were precious to Indru, knowing that they were his last siblings, and to lose one of them now would be tragic for the pack. You owe it to our parents to keep yourself safe, you are their last daughter. He reminded, hoping that if she would not listen to him she would be responsible for the sake of their parents.

Weldering Darksidy
They really had been completely caught and Weldering knew there was no point even trying to denigh it, he was just glad that Indru had not turned around to him and asked him for the truth because in that situation he would have had to break his promise to Borlla. It would have been very obvious that Weldering would have been lying if he tried to say that Borlla had been a good little girl the entire time. Though instead Indru needed neither of them to say anything to deduce the truth. Borlla's quick tactic of changing the subject was a good move but saying that Weldering helped her, well she'd put a nail through her own paw there by saying that as Weldering knew Indru would be able to tell he had not been inside Swift River. The look alone he cast Welde was enough to show he was thinking along the same lines.

The Alphen was keen to give Borlla a slightly harsher version of the lecture he had given the whelp only minutes ago back at the beaver dam. But such was life and it was only for her own good, because he really did care and love her and Weldering could see that. Though all this punishment need not go without an incentive... right? <b style="color:#0d5b8c; font-family:geogia; font-size:13px">"Maybe if you behave your brother will let you come fishing again with me sometime?" Whether Indru would or not he was unsure but perhaps it would be reason enough, if Borlla wanted to go fishing again with him, for her to start taking responsibility for her actions.

Borlla Tainn-Argyris
Borlla listened in silent disdain for her brother. Bears, lynxs...She shrugged off his contact, trying to scootch out of his reach. What would she have done if faced with an angry bear? Well, she would have fought the bear, duh! Visibly she drooped when her parents were brought into the equation. It made her feel funny inside, a funny that she didn't like. Borlla looked at the ground, focusing hard on nothing. It wasn't fair...

The promise of going fishing again was tempting, but she was sure Indru wouldn't let her go anywhere ever again. She perked up a bit, but went back to staring at the ground. "It's not fair." She mumbled, shifting her eyes from Welde to her brother. "Cause...Cause I was fine! Welde was with me! He's big. I'm okay..." Her voice trailed off at the ends, and she fell into silence once more, seething.

Indru Tainn

Weldering's offer was noted with a short nod and a thankful glance, Indru was not sure whether it would be taken up at the moment, but the offer was appreciated. Borlla soon distracted him again and he frowned at her in annoyance as he listened to her whine. You think it's fair to make your brother's and sister's worry about you? Would it be fair to us if we lost someone else in our family too? Life isn't always fair, Borlla. The recent deaths of their parents showed her that, surely? The fire had been cruel and merciless, destroying their pack, home and family in ways. It was pure luck that it was Weldering who you were with and not one of the many lone wolves who would kill you to damage our pack, or a predator who would just love to fill their bellies with you. It was a tactic he borrowed of Honijo, his uncle drilling fear into him and his brother's in order to get their obedience and discipline them, it wasn't something Indru particularly enjoyed, but he knew it was effective.

Indru drew back to his haunches for a moment, sighing heavily and continue to stare a Borlla with worried eyes. After a moment he turned to Weldering briefly, perhaps if Borlla behaved herself for some time your offer would still stand? Maybe it was an incentive she needed, and maybe being able to be with a wolf who wasn't related would do the job. If Indru was honest the thought of leaving a puppy with Weldering wasn't one he was keen on, he was a stranger and not-pack after all, but he didn't think he would harm her. Plus at least this way with the fact that Borlla would have to behave first looming as a condition they may get to know each other more comfortably in the time that took.

Weldering Darksidy
It seemed as though Indru was opting with the scare tactic to try and keep his younger sister within the boundaries of his pack. It seemed to be working so far and it had been the speech that Weldering was more or less trying to give back by the Beaver Dam. Yet Welde had not the heart to be so cruel and secondly did not want to terrify her so she could report back to her family saying that Weldering was mean or evil, anything like that. He was not purposely trying to get into Indru's good books, the dislike he had for the other brute was still strong though it was not as dramatic as hatred and he still had absolutely no intention of doing anything foolish like trying to take over Swift River. So far the only reasons he had for his encounters with the group so far was that he was friends with Junai and now also Borlla.

As the situation remained awkward for the outsider he was beginning to show the incunabulum to leave. He had done his duty, even though it was not really his duty, but anyway Borlla was now home safely. Indru must have spotted his shuffles as he prepared to move off asking Weldering if his deal would still stand. It was surprising to hear, was Indru trusting him now or was it because the leader was faced with little other options to keep his sibling from wandering alone? Whatever the case he nodded smoothly. <b style="color:#0d5b8c; font-family:geogia; font-size:13px">"Of course." Confirming the agreement. His body turned slightly off to one side now glancing back over his shoulder. <b style="color:#0d5b8c; font-family:geogia; font-size:13px">"I better be off..." He grumbled before padding back the way he came.
