All three pups had managed to survive the horrid catastrophe that had struck the strong pack. Aeylen had saved Mirren and Vaeta, while Nina had saved the youngest son, Nios. In that small act of valor, she had once again injured her leg. The run and swimming had taken all of the strength out of her previously broken leg, and it now lay weak behind her. She had been thankful for her pack mates being there for her, but she had enough. She was the only healer in the pack and knew she couldn’t be gone for long, just in case something bad would happen to the pups. But she needed to seek advice, from the one wolf who she knew probably knew more about healing then she did. Though the two of them hadn’t had a great start, Nina trusted her knowledge and strength, and it was there that Nina was hopefully going to get her answers.

The trek had taken her a long time. . .longer than she would have wished it would have taken, and in truth, it had worn her out. She had been living off of berries and herbs for the past few days in order to get back to Willow Ridge. Sloane had promised to teach her how to defend herself, as long as she was in the best shape possible, but at the moment, she definitely wasn’t taking care of herself. Her pelt had thinned out due to the lack of meat she had been eating. Being unable to hunt for herself was a pain, but she had lived off of berries before, this wasn’t any different. She didn’t mind eating them either, even though some were bitter, she was used to the taste and smell of bitter things. The herbs she used regularly proved that enough.

Her three paws had finally taken her to their peek, thank the Gods that she had finally reached Willow Ridge’s borders. Her body collapsed a good ways away from the borders. She didn’t have to be any where near them for Elettra to hear her, she knew the large lady had good ears. With a large sigh of her own she got up on her two front paws with a pant and thrust her head to the sky, letting out a deep howl for Elettra. She was sure that the lady would know it was her, they had met twice before and Nina had spoken, much more than she would intended to. When her head lowered, she readjusted her back paw to the point to where it didn’t hurt her to sit.

She could only hope that the strong alpha would answer her call. Her face was drawn in defeat as she sat there. She felt like a weakling, going to another leader for help instead of asking Ruiko or Aeylen. But the thing was. . .she had to, and there was no other leader aside Elettra that she would have gone to for advice. Nina’s ears were pinned back and her head was lowered in thought as she waited for the noble leader. If she didn’t get an answer soon she would have to return to her home to help her leaders. When Nina turned her head around briefly to look at her coat. . .she didn’t feel presentable. Her fur was in knots and dirt covered every inch of her. . .it didn’t seem as though she could do anything about it now though. For she soon turned her head around again and watched the clearing with her one emerald eye for any signs of Elettra.

i hope it's okay that kyrie joins - i forwarded you the message i sent you about it.

And she came, with a swiftness and determination due to the stress of the woman's call. Despite the fact that they had gotten off on the wrong side, it would seem more and more the woman was destined to become some for of ally to hers, even if she could never call her a pack mate and trusting her fully would take far more time then a few meetings. Still, she saw her often, something she had accepted the moment she knew Koda had fallen for the scarred up woman. However, she was, as mentioned, not her pack member. There was nothing of which Elettra owed this girl and nothing of which Elettra was willing to offer up for free.
When she arrived, she made her approach slow and steady to the injured wolf, surely to be on edge. Not only did she harbor foible sight from her one scarred over eye, but it was obvious with one glance that the injury to her leg had been renewed. She was one-eyed, three-legged, dirty, matted and horridly thin. "They not feeding you back at the Creek?" Elettra said dryly, though her eyes roaming the younger woman with obvious concern. After all, despite the fact that Willow Ridge had only just formed, they had an abundance of food at this time of year. They had fish, hares, quarrels and other small manners of play left in the den by the doing of not Narime and Reed, then surely another. They had herself, as a healer, and others whom devoted attention to watching not only the boarders, but the members themselves for safety. If the new pack could do this, Elettra could not understand why another could now, which caused a frown to pull at the edges of her lips. Though El had not met the leading female, surely Ruiko allowing her member to travel this far alone, and so injured, he was doing something wrong. Then again, Elettra prided herself on the Ridge's current luck. They had lesser members, but all of which were able and healthy adults. No children were there to care for, their lands were safe and secure and every members shed not an ounce of inactivity.

Her good eye glanced up, as the pleasant scent of Elettra was swept towards her nose. It was as if she had never smelt anything so good in her life. When the strong leader made her appearance, she was not shocked by the question addressed to her. She looked horrible, might as well get that out of the way, she already knew that. Her head lowered accordingly, a sign of respect towards the leader, as well as healer, and it was one of the reasons Nina had come to seek the brave lady out. She swallowed quickly become answering, her voice always low and seemingly emotionless, numb it was. She thought about the question in her head briefly. They had been feeding her. Sloane had taken up the duty to help her get back into the best shape but Pakuna and Kashikoi had also been helping. She had still been incapable of hunting, one of the reasons she looked so horrid. Her mouth soon opened, not wanting to take anymore of the older woman's time. "They are feeding me. There has been a flood though. Everyone is safe, that I know of. I wasn't suppose to run, Miss Elettra, but I had to. I had to save Nios, one of the pups. . .and. . .and then my leg got injured again. I couldn't ask anyone in the pack for healing help. They don't know. . .I'm not even suppose to leave the territory. But I came to ask for your help. I can't help them without being healed myself."

The tone at the end of her voice just sounded lost. She didn't know what she was suppose to do, and by the end of her ramble, she just made no sense because she was. . .rambling. Her eye drifted towards the ground in shame. She was so weak. She couldn't even help out a pack mate without becoming injured. To her. . .it was worth it though, no matter the cost. Prince Nios lived and that was all that mattered. Perhaps that had bonded the two of them, even though he hadn't been happy about her not letting him "attack" the water, she knew it was for the best. At last, Nina's sparkling emerald eye shined up at Elettra and the true question was finally whimpered, "Can you help me, please?"

Elettra Archer
kyrie, feel free to pop in now or after nina.

And as easily as Elettra asked the question, did Nina give her answer. She explained she had been being fed, though their territory (and obviously the den site since the kids were in need of rescue) had been flooded by one of the various storms of the season. El's frown remained, pasted in place as she thought of this. So much trouble had been placed into creating the pack and so much time and determination by Ruiko, only to have his home flooded. What now? Turn to another dryer place, or were they forced to find a home in a new piece of the lands all together? It was questions left unanswered and unneeded of answering for the moment. Running to save the child had explained the reasoning for the woman's leg becoming injured once more, and knowing there were no other healers in the pack savor herself explained why she had come here for help.
"I'll do my best." She answered then. Time and time of healing others she had learned she could no longer make false promises that everything was going to be okay and back to normal. Her leg had been broken and in the wild that meant a likelihood that it would never be the same again. However, with treatment, Nina would be lucky to use it again, with only a limp and a scar as a reminder. Elettra could remember Alexander now, whom had suffered without the proper care. His leg had healed, but never had been popped back into the correct place and so twisted oddly at an angle which made walking on it (if at all) quite difficult.
"Has it snapped back out of place?" She asked, gaze turning over the limb but unable to tell herself whilst Nina was sitting. If it was out of place, it would need to be placed back. Already as she asked, her mind began to swirl with information in thought of what she needed to do, and what she had in order to do such things: Black Willow, easy enough to obtain in these lands and she held plenty of, it over to stop the swelling and reduction of pain which she surely had and would have further. Comfrey could surely be applied to help with mending the bone and perhaps even some Sanicle if she was worried about big, ugly scars as an aftermath. "We'll need to move you to the den." She said then. For although she would rather not bring others into her territory, there was little thought that she would do anything to harm the pack of her mate and if she willed it, wouldn't have had the physical capabilities of doing so anyhow.
Elettra's body shifted then, her attention back towards the pack lands, and she calls out for Kyrie. With how tired and weak Nina was, it would take her quite some time to hop her way towards the main den site, and Kyrie would be her guide in doing so whilst Elettra rushed forth to prepare. Elettra was by far not the fastest of the group, though Narime was an obvious huntress and Elettra had been very much unaware of Kyrie's own healing skills.

She could barely keep her head up as she stared at the lady. She was even struggling to keep her good eye open as Elettra spoke to her. The first words brought a nod to Nina and she knew she couldn’t complain with the answer she was given. As a healer herself, she knew that it wasn’t always possible to help someone who was ill or injured. The lady’s next words made her ears twitch. Had her leg been popped out of place? With a short failed attempt at moving her leg, she nodded her head, "Yes. . .it has been popped out again." Her tail tucked around her good side before she sat in silence for a short time. Nothing seemed to be going her way when it came to her health. Injury after injury came over her, and the only reasons she seemed to be upset, was because she couldn’t always help others.

The last words that would be spoken made her own head snap up, her emerald eye wide. She couldn’t believe what she was hearing. Kashi, Sloane, and Pakuna would surely wonder where she had been off to. Her mouth remained shut in respect though, for she had done the same thing for another not too long ago. Though she had been a lone wolf. Nina felt like she was intruding on her mate’s lands, and she didn’t exactly want to do that. It was one of the reasons she hadn’t gone to him for help. She needed to give him space, time with his pack, and surely not with her, for the time being. She honestly hadn’t planned on telling him about what happened, though she was sure Elettra would have said something, she still would have remained silent to him. With a pack to worry about she didn’t want to add anymore stress into his life.

It seemed the noble lady had different plans of her own though, for she soon lifted her head to the sky and called for someone. The injured female remained silent, not prying on to what the leader of Willow Ridge was up to. Her head once again bowed, her one eye closing once again. She started solely concentrating on calming her breathing and heart rate. Deep breathes were needed to clear the mind and soul, and that was something Nina wanted at the moment. A deep cleansing for herself. Her chest expanded and fell in a steady rhythm and soon her breathing was back to normal and her heart beat had settled down slightly. With one last large breath, she trust her head back up, only slightly, and opened her eyes, so that she wouldn’t fall asleep on the other lady.

Today is a nice day. Kyrie lay down outside the den. She had been up to work for quite some time now she had a little rest. While chewing on a bone, left from her meal, she listened to the bird's song. Hunting, making a fast round by the borders, she had a nice day. The energy was boiling in her body and it had to be let out. What could she do after? There was no need for more food, Kyrie was sure that the others would come back with more prey later on the day. It's good that they had plenty of food but it shouldn't be spilled by hunting down and seeing it rot because everyone was already full. No, she could better go practising. After her time with Koda she trained on her own her strength and building more muscle. If she found a chance she may ask Reed or Remy to train with her. It would build a better bond, spending time with them. Well, there was no hurry. They had a sea of time to spend together with the pack.
The white woman putted some power in her bite and the bone cracked under it. Surprised she loosened her grip and the bone fell on the ground. Kyrie stood up, taking the two parts and buried it under the ground. Alright, practice time! A hard howl went trough the air. Her ears twisted a bit, it was obviously Elettra. Why would she howl? Curious she listened to her leader, she heard.. Her name?! She listened for the direction of her call and began on a fast run. The howl was not so far away, she could go on full speed. Like a white dash she ran to the source of the howl. Why would she be called? It sounded serious. Was it about her role? No she didn't think so, Elettra could easily speak about that when she was in the Den. Besides if it was like that the sound be different, right? It worried her, would something had happened with the black woman? The thought of her being in problems made her only run more, the chance that she had really problems was small but you never knew.

The scent of her alpha was strong in the air, she didn't smelled any blood not from her at least. Relieved Kyrie sighed, good so it wasn't like that. However, she did smell another scent, one she knew from some time ago. Nina. Why was Nina here? Maybe she came for Koda but then she wouldn't be called for. Did made no sense. Kyrie began on her last sprint, only some minutes had past for her to reach Nina and Elettra. She would get her answers soon enough. The black woman stood by the willow, Nina was sitting right under it. It seemed fine from far away but Kyrie saw within two seconds it wasn't alright at all. Her pace slowed down, stopping before the two woman’s. Nina, she looked, terrible. Dirty, full of knots and tangles. She looked so weary. What had happened to her to be in such a state. Last time she looked fine. Every happy feeling was replaced with worry. Why did Nina came all this way to Willow, couldn't she better go to her Healer in the Creek? There was probably a good reason she came all the way to here.
Kyrie swallowed two times, her eyes looked at Elettra. 'How can I help?'

Elettra Archer
There was obvious shock in Nina's eyes when Elettra mentioned her entering not only the pack lands, but moving directly to the pack's den. Previously in Grizzly Hollow, Elettra's medical den had been separate from the pack's main quarters but here, her infirmary laid directly within- a hollow dug out under the rocky formation which they called home. It was a risk, surely, but Elettra was no fool, and weighed out the advantages amongst the disadvantages. Nina seemed intent to stay within Copper Rock Creek, had she not been, she would have come to this pack long ago to be with her mate. Koda, too, seemed far too dedicated to his position and word to leave as well. Due to this, Elettra did not fear an uprising from the mated pair on ether end. Nina was far too weak to cause much damage to Elettra in a fight and had she been well, be in confidence or arrogance, Elettra had no fears that she could not take the woman down.
The advantages of this seemed more so. It might take some convincing from Ruiko to allow Nina to stay whilst she healed, but Elettra was saving their only healer from suffering and perhaps, death, should the would grow infected. Not only this, but Elettra had helped the Creek's pack members formerly. If anything, the shadowy coated woman hoped to seal an alliance with the pack where else there was not one. After all, Ruiko and Elettra knew each other well (well enough, that is) and with the connections to which they shared by mates, siblings, and friendships, Elettra hoped to seal a deal which may benefit her in the long run, should Willow Ridge need assistance in the future. Her mind was turning, as she awaited Kyrie.
As quickly as Elettra had hoped for, the small woman dashed into the scene by a flurry of off-white. She addressed the situation and within these moments, Elettra did quick to explain. "Copper Rock Creek's den has flooded and in helping everyone get out, Nina's injured leg has re-broken. Broken bones are a hard fix, but I can apply a few things, put in back into place and the rest will be up to Nina...." After all, no matter if it was put back into it's place, or herbs placed onto it, it would not help if Nina continued trying to maneuver around, which included traveling far between pack lands. "I'm going to run ahead and try to gather some things. I'd like for you to escort Nina to the entrance of the den." A frown tugged at her lips then, knowing very well she was not the fastest in the lands, and could only hope to hunt out all of which she had in time. Elettra would have otherwise rather been here to guide Nina back but otherwise saw no other choice.

Her ears twitched as another sound approached her ears. The scent was vaguely familiar but Nina couldn’t seem to put a paw on who it was. . .though when the familiar sandy pelt came bounding through the willows. It was young Kyrie. . .the young woman se ad met on her last trip to see Koda. Her lips twitched into a small smile before her body lagged. Her ears blocked out everything the two female’s were saying, until her name popped up. Her muscles in her back were fatigue and she wished briefly that she could get up. It seemed Kyrie would be the one to help her get back to their denning site. . .oh, how long this trip was going to be,

She stood before the two female’s her head tucked towards her small chest. Her pack mates were going to start to wonder where she had gone off to. It was a shame that everything that was going on had to occur at this time. The knowledge that something bad could easily happen to one of the pups saddened her highly. A large sigh soon erupted from her nose and her paws shuffled on the ground restlessly, trying to find a more comfortable position to put her paws in.

Poor Nina, she looked so bad. Kyrie felt like licking her, hugging her and say that everything would be fine in the end. She wanted to cheer the woman up so her eye would shimmer with the light of life. Right now the emerald green eye spoke of nothing but weariness. Her heart shrink when her friend could bring up a little smile when Nina saw her. She had to help, she didn't care if she was a loner, packmate or a member of a other pack. Kyrie just wanted to help her and see her smiling again. A shining funny smile, not the one she knew to force on her face.

Eager she gave a listening ear to Elettra who fast gave her a explanation about the whole situation behind this all. It was more worse than she thought. A flood, who could have thought something like this would happen. Actually maybe it wasn't that strange, they lived by a creek, if she has to assume from their name, but that was dangerous! Kyrie prayed with her all that nobody had to die in that flood. Her hazel eyes shimmered with worry. A re-broken leg, it would take even longer to heal that way. She hoped that they could heal it properly, otherwise she might have to live with three legs in the future. Something that could be your breakdown in wildlife. She felt happy that Nina still had her pack. How the woman spoke of her own family, even if she didn't say mcuh about them, she was de kind of wolf who loved her friends and family dearly just like her pack. The pack wouldn't let her fall down, Nina helped her pack and risked her own life. The price was this leg, Kyrie was almost relieved she hadn't more injuries. The white woman was happy that her leader was generous to help a outsider. Though Nina wasn't completely unrelated to them, she was a important friend to Koda. They couldn't let her stand before their door to solve her own problems. The image of the big alpha popped into her head. Koda, how would he react if they saw Nina coming into their Den? Surprised, worried? Probably both. This thing would shake up Willow Ridge for a moment. Yet Kyrie knew that with their good filled chaches they could easily feed a extra mouth.

The black woman talked about her plan. Bringing her to the Den, as she would get the needed treatment. It sounded good, Elettra was first class Healer after all. A little worry sneaked into her mind. It was a good plan, but they first had to put the bone back into place and with Nina's state they might not come far. If she had been bigger she may could have given Nina more support as she walked. However Nina was bigger than she was, letting her lean on her might be a bit troublesome. Not to mention Kyrie was fast, faster than her leader. They would lose some time for bringing the herbs they needed while walking. Unsure the white woman looked away, putting her weight on her right paw to her left. She wasn't used to go into the word of her alpha, but seeing the situation she might be forgiven for it.

'Euhm.. Is-' Her eyes looked dubitable at her leader. '-Isn't it better to let me get the herbs and plants? I'm faster I can easily bring it in the same time I came, even faster. It's harder for me to help Nina because I'm small.' She tried to explain hoping that the black woman would see her point. 'Oh but I know what you need.' It might put her at ease so she knew she wouldn't bring the wrong things. 'Comfrey and Black Willow, right? Horsetail for the bone to get it's strength back, maybe some Boron too for the healing process?' Kyrie wasn't sure if they had anything with boron in it. She knew that dark cherries had boron in it, so maybe a fast trip to the cherry orchard? Honey would be also a good option, but it was hard to get that without being sting by a bee. Unsure she lowered her head a bit to look up at her alpha. What would she say, would she be mad at her for speaking back? 'Of course, if you don't think it's a good idea I would be delighted to help Nina to the camp.' Elettra shouldn’t get the wrong idea that she didn't want to help the brown woman. With red cheeks she waited for a answer. Slightly watching Nina as she changed positions.

Elettra Archer
When Kyrie spoke, it was not with a quick agreement as Elettra had otherwise thought and hoped for, so that she may get on the move as quickly as possible. Kyrie was objecting, which, perked Elettra's ears to attention, her body moving to Nina then so she may stand beside her, so that the other woman may lean on her for support as she struggled to stand. Kyrie's words made ever bit of sense to Elettra, this was for sure - Kyrie was smaller, and with less ability to hold up an obviously larger wolf. Kyrie was faster, with the speeds in which Elettra would never achieve herself. However, Elettra's lips formed in a tight line of uncertainty and after a moment, she opened her lips to speak. She wanted to question that although Kyrie was fast, her shifting through the plants to try to figure out what was what would take far too much time on it's own. Then Kyrie continued, telling her she knew exactly what she needed, and by name.
The sudden knowledge in which Kyrie displayed in the herbal category clearly cut Elettra off guard. Already, as Elettra had done with a previous healer, she wanted to question Kyrie, know all of what she knew and trade information back and forth in order to expand her own knowledge. She had trained a Copper Rock Creek wolf formerly, had taken a previous pack member, Silver, under her wing. Now, Elettra stood before two different healers and the longing for more knowledge brought her tail to a sudden sway. "Kyrie - you know of medicine? I didn't know." Though her voice was even, the light in her pale gaze showed her obvious shock, certain the woman would have taken up the most obvious route (hunting) by her size.
A sudden shifting and by this, a brushing against Nina, reminded the situation at hand and Elettra nodded quickly, her muzzle jutting towards the direction of the pack den. "I've few Horsetail twigs and plenty of Black Willow and Comfrey. Move as quickly as your legs will carry you, I'll keep guard here." This was her agreement to the words of Kyrie, a small smile forming over her lips and a wave of her tail to yet the younger, smaller woman know she had done a job well done indeed. Now, for the time being, all Elettra had to do was wait.
Already, her attentions shifted to Nina, her muzzle touching to her shoulder and pushing downwards to direct her to get down and lay to relax for the time being. Nina's struggles to stand and keep her eyes open was enough to tell Elettra that although she would like Nina to get into pack territory, the ability to do so was not there at the moment. Until Nina got some treatment, they were here to stay.
