The blurs around her were starting to give her a massive headache and the thought that something bad might happen irked her. She didn’t wish to be of any trouble to Willow Ridge and she certainly didn’t want to be a distraction to the ranks within. She was glad to have wolves that she knew taking care of her. . .ones that knew what they were doing. She was sure that if she would have stayed in Copper Rock Creek with her friends that she surely wouldn’t have been listened to when it came to herbs. The massive illness that had taken over her at the time had given her the clearance of that. Though, she had decided not to travel until the fevers had passed, though now, she wasn’t so sure if she had or not.

Movements by her side caused her head to move slightly. She caught a blurred glimpse of a large form and by the scent she assumed it was Elettra. She remained where she was until she felt a slight downward motion pressing on her shoulder. She had done a similar gesture to many as a healer herself and it was simply just a sign to tell another to relax and settle down. Nina, being one to know how irritating patients who didn’t listen well, instantly complied and lowered herself onto the ground. A small sigh of relief floated out of her jaws and her head rested on the mossy around, her eyes closing as peace flooded through her senses for a short time.

As she spoke against the words of her leader she sensed Elettra wasn't so happy with her objection. Her eyes were shifting from the silver eyes to something else so she could go on talking without breaking under her nerves. Never had she spoke against the words of her above, just one time she had broken the rules of the pack. The price she had to pay was so high, Kyrie didn't want to ever break the rules again, cause if she couldn't bear the thought of losing everything again. The white fae didn't see how the black lips formed a thin line, for the better cause is she had seen it she would stop talking immediately. It was like a miracle she had finished, without too many flaws. Her head spun back her conversation, looking if she said something stupid or unnecessary. The beginning was a bit stumbling but surprisingly enough she actually spoke quite well. Her eyes looked with care at the black woman's reaction.

Her mind went blank as she looked into the silver eyes. Kyrie couldn't read them very well. There were quite some mixed emotions, one was obviously surprise and it could even be shock. There were lots more of emotions and thoughts in her leaders head Kyrie didn't know about. Probably never will either. However she couldn't sense even the slightest bit of anger or irritation. Not even a cold gaze. Unsure she watched Nina. The brown wounded fae was with her mind somewhere far away. Kyrie doubted that she actually listened to their conversation, something she didn't blame on Nina. The white woman could guess that Nina was only thinking about sleeping and ignoring the pain that kept nagging in her head. "Kyrie - you know of medicine? I didn't know." As her name was called by the strong woman's voice who's was filled with shock Kyrie's head turned back. Of course her leader didn't know, she never told anyone. Her head dipped as a nod, confirming the question of Elettra. 'I have a good knowledge of herbs and plants from what I learned in the past.' Kyrie wasn't really talkative about her past, cause it was hers. The healer skills in her weren't so supreme either. Back than she was young, unable to go out and hyper like she had energy for the whole pack. She loved to help but was imprisoned by the border rules for yearlings. As the leader gave her a nice task to help the old Healer getting his supplies. He was old, very old. Running for him was like slow-motion walking for her and than ten times more. However she was in depth to the old Healer. He had taught her how to recognize plants, the ones you can eat, the ones who where deadly even if you took the slightest amount. Kyrie did know how to cure minor injuries, colds things like that. She could not cure Nina with only her knowledge of plants, how to use them was something different. Something she had yet to learn but maybe Elettra could give her an example, so she could take the task of helping in Nina's recovery. Kyrie was at least the only one wolf in the pack without a task so she was less needed. Elettra was their Healer but everyone knew all to well she had the burden of a Alpha.

As the woman spoke again, telling her what she needed Kyrie only nodded. She hastily dipped her head out of manners and turned her back to the two faes. A second she stood still. Her heartbeat slowed down as she took a deep breath. For a second she hold the air, slowly letting it go back through her lungs. The next second her paws were on the move. Fast like lightning moving swiftly avoiding any trees. Kyrie could still see the horrible death of the deer in the hunt with Narimé. Hitting the tree with topspeed, causing brain damage. As she neared the Den she slowed down her pace. Still running she got into the Infirmary what was Elettra's space. Her mind didn't register anything around her, her main focus was on the herbs and plants. Ah there, Black Willow and Comfrey. Her eyes looked further, she spotted some horsetail in the corner. She took as much as he could carry in her jaws. Time for the way back..

Kyrie returned. Her chest moved heavenly up and down. Three fast sprints, it was tiring. Her jaws cramped with the stuff she had to carry on her way. It was hard to run as fast as the first two times. She was afraid that she might drop some on the ground or that the tension would be so heavy she would break the vulnerable plants. Nina was already lying back on the ground. Her face looked more at ease than some time before she left. With a smile, as far this could go with all the stuff in her mouth, she walked to the two woman. Carefully spread out the supplies for Elettra. 'Can I watch and learn?' She asked politely, Elettra may wanted to keep her knowledge for her own, what was quite understandable. Just for now the white woman sat down, getting her breath back.

Elettra Archer
alert as ever was Elettra, standing guard as Nina found some sort of slumber come over her as she fought to keep awake and with this, left her rest. After her bone was placed back in and herbal treatment had time to settle it's way into her, Elettra had made the decision to recruit her newest member (Skana) and make the long travel to Copper Rock Creek. Far to the North it was, over the long stretch of the lands to which would take them much time though Skana was a sure pick. It would be a political matter for sure and, having use as an advisor, thought her perfect for the years in which she had been a leader. Hopefully, Kyrie would do well to lead Nina to the Infirmary and take care of her whilst she was gone. Silently, Elettra praised the fact they had another healer within their ranks with a wave of her tail.
Soon enough, Kyrie had returned, her mouth filled with plant-life which she spread out before her grayed tipped toes. She nodded to Kyrie's words, though was not sure of all she may learn. From what Kyrie had said previously, it seemed like she knew of these herbs already...But perhaps she did not know how to apply them? Surely in time, Elettra would be willing to teach Kyrie more, but was happy already with what it seemed she already knew. Her knowledge would be enough to be a nurse, for sure, whilst Elettra for the time being remained the doctor.
Elettra leaned over then, rousing Nina to wake and pushing the amount of Black Willow (all of which Kyrie was able to bring) before her to chew up the leaves and eat in order to reduce as much pain and swelling as possible. Had she been at her den, she would pile on more pain killers as she was able, but for the moment whilst Nina could not move, she did what she could. "Whilst that takes some time to go into effect, Kyrie, would you chew those Horsetail twigs into a poultice for me?" She asks this of her helper whilst she awaits not only Nina to finish her leaves, but to allow the symptoms to take effect as well. In the meantime, Elettra would go off to retrieve to large leaves for settling both the Horsetail twigs and the Comfrey roots, which Elettra chewed up vigorously and spat out for later use.
A time later, she would rouse Nina to attention once more, had she perhaps fallen back to slumber. "Are you ready?" She speaks simply, hoping that most of the pain had gone from the use of the Black Willow leaves. Hopefully soon enough, Kyrie would have the opportunity to seek out more, lucky for them it would not be hard to due, granted the area in which they lived.

Snap at anyone, she did not, but it was a reminder of how little sleep she had taken for herself to get here. In order to return home. . .something she now knew she wouldn’t be able to do. The urge to ask Elettra to ask about the pups for her stirred within the lady’s mind, but ask she did not. She didn’t want Ruiko or Aeylen snapping at her for it. . .oh, she hadn’t seen them since the flood, and the point of failure crossed her mind. She knew Kashi knew enough of the basics to keep them healthy though. Worried she was not. Her eye would open fully now, but her head had to turn. . .what was with everyone being on her blind side all of the time. Her nose sniffed around curiously, her jaws opening slightly and taking in a bitter herb into her mouth.

She did not wince, for she was used to the herbs in her mouth, chewing and swallowing them made no difference to her. She didn’t take in any note of what she was eating though, she trusted Elettra in what she was doing, no questions asked from her. Nina understood what is was like to have a patient who didn’t comply with their wishes. It was a pain in the butt most of the time, but after awhile she had learned to cope with it anyways. When she was spoken to, her head turned even more to look at Elettra, was she ready? Course she was, she was as ready as she would ever be. With a quick nod towards the regal leader she braced herself for the pain that was most likely about to overtake her.

She felt warm and cold on the same time. Her insides were burning while outside it looked like it was freezing. A shiver rolled over her spine as she watched close at the movements of the black woman. Nina looked like she was sleeping. Kyrie could not say for sure if it was true. Could you sleep with pain nagging at your head? At least she couldn't, if her stomach wanted to be filled with food she couldn't sleep with a empty belly. So simple was it. For sleep the white girl needed total freedom from all her worries and let the stress and thoughts wash away. She hoped Nina would sleep, her friend looked like she hadn't slept for ages. A bit sleep might be good for her, even if they had to wake her up eventually. It was kind or ironic, they still had to move Nina to the safe Den before she could actually sleep in peace. Walking to the Willows home, it would be a hell of a way to get Nina there. In her state it could take them forever, Kyrie did have the patience but it could have been so much easier if she could just put Nina on her back and drag her to the Den. As Elettra asked her to get the Horsetail ready she came back to her senses. She felt already a lot better, her breathing back to it's normal rhythm, Kyrie took the twigs into her jaw and began to chew on it. Herbs, plants the most were bitter and kind of nasty. It was hard to find something that would not groce out the sick but sometimes to get better you have to go through it. Kyrie's face showed a second the bitterness like she could feel on her tongue. The taste was not new to her but some thing just stayed as nasty as they were. She would get used to it, if she would do it more than she did right now but it was still nasty.

However, nasty or not when Elettra gave her bit to Nina the brown woman just took it as it was. Kyrie chewed a bit surprised on her already mash of twig. Was she too tired to complain about it or was she used at the taste of these herbs? The white girl had no idea that Nina was a Healer but she kind of admired the brown she wolf for not being difficult. See what she went through some complains would be in place. Her teeth finely cut and molded everything till it was soft.. eatable? She spitted out the brown mix of twigs and saliva so it could be of further use for the two. Now she just waited and watched. She had no idea if she could be of any help further but she would otherwise be a silent support for both.

Elettra Archer
trying to close this older thread up as quickly as possible x].

There was a quick nod on Nina's part and nothing more for a response, which was good enough for Elettra. Quickly, her attention diverted from her patient and onto Kyrie, whom not only knew some of herbal healing, but would be learning much more with this practice in order to take the task for herself and relieve the pressure of Elettra being the only one with the capabilities within the pack. "Kyrie, hold her down." She directed of her nurse, hoping she may comply without question. If she put two and two together, surely as would understand as to why she directed this of her. After all, Nina's limb had popped back out of place and there was no use trying to wrap it up with vines and sticks as well as soaking it with poultice if it was still not yet in place. After all, Elettra had seen other wolf's broken limbs having formed back out of the wrong area and it left not only an awkwardly twisted limb, but a limb that could never be walked on properly again. Alexander, sad as it was, had suffered such a fate.
Once Kyrie was in place, Elettra would creep forth towards Nina's limb slowly. Though Nina was larger then Kyrie, she was tired, weak, and with the inability to move properly without pain in order to keep from Kyrie's grasp whom would otherwise despite her size have well over the ability to hold Nina down in this state. Elettra, once sure Nina was secure, moved swiftly before any objections could be made and before Nina had a full chance to try and jerk around and away from her. Elettra's jaws sought out the injured limb, aiming to grasp in hard within her jaws and jerk in back fiercely to the side. Although puncture wounds would add to the damage to Nina's limb due to Elettra's teeth, it would be worth the injury in the long run with her limb back where it belonged.
The yank of Elettra's skull with the limb in her jaws could surely cause a loud 'pop and snap!' on Nina's part but the moment the action was done, Elettra released her grip. She moved quickly, despite whatever screams and curses Nina might have for her due to the pain. Elettra's paws and muzzle dipped into the mess of both poultice, working hard to smear it around the area to which Nina's left was broken, as well as moving it through the new puncture wounds which Elettra had already made. The comfry would help to mend the bone quicker, as the horsetail would aid in the speed of the healing process, as well as stopping the bleeding from the bite marks. Now that the bone would be back in place, only time, more appliances of the poultice and pain killers, would be left to do.

She knew this was going to hurt extremely bad and knew there was nothing in her power, or anyone else’s, that could help her manage the pain. Her front paws gripped the ground for her own pain when she felt Kyrie’s paws on her. She knew it was needed for her to be held down and she highly appreciated the two ladies doing such a kind favor for her. When she heard and felt the pop, her jaws opened in a long high pitched moan that echoed through the forest. Oh how if hurt her! Her claws started to dig into the ground, her jaws clamped shut and a growl erupting from within her throat. Her open eye twitched slightly before a large gasp of release emitted itself from her mouth.

When she took a few short breathes to regain her strength she spoke up, "Thank you so much." Though she knew the job was not over yet, she was happy with the fact that she could have some kind of peace at mind now. Her leg had been popped back into place. . .that was one of the first steps to recovery. All thoughts of being able to ever hunt or fight for herself again fled her mind. She would not longer be able to be capable of such a thing, not that she was a harsh wolf from the beginning, but the fact that she was not going to be able to ever defend herself was enough to scare her. In her mind though, there was always a secret part that wished someone could do something to fix that.

Done for now Kyrie sat down watching her friend eating the fine herbs. The little woman had not much time to sit down, as she was called again. Obedient she stood up, even if she had never seen it with her own eyes Kyrie knew what Elettra was going to do. From the side she put down her white paws in the brown fur. Searching for a place with enough grip she pinned Nina down. It felt kind of weird to do but the woman hoped she was able to keep Nina down even if she would try to move. Her hazel eyes looked from Nina to Elettra. Softly she nodded with her head. Better to do things fast so it would be over sooner.

Soft Kyrie bit on her underlip. The black healer took the broken leg between her teeth and gave a good yank at it. She didn't feel the pain, yet Kyrie flinched as she could hear the snap of the bone finding it's original place back. Under her paws she felt the body move. The little wolf had to put in her weight so she would not be blown of Nina because of her struggle against the pain. The pain was just dripping of the scarred face, but within some seconds the pain slowly moved back. So it seemed as Nina thanked her and Elettra. The thanks was not really needed but Kyrie could understand why she said it. 'Better than thanks, I would rather see you being able to move again.' She smiled as she putted her paws back on the ground. So the biggest thing was done, all what was left to do was rest, lots and lots of rest. If Nina would just lay down in the Infirmary without doing anything rash she could soon walk again on four legs. Hopefully. It would take some time before a bone would be healthy again, after being broken it may be more vulnerable than the other three. Kyrie shook her body up and stretched out over the ground. Breathing normally again, recovered form the sprints she looked at her leader. 'Are we gonna bring Nina back right now or do you want to wait a little?'

It would be nice to have Nina around for some time. Kyie wished it were in other conditions but at least she could care for her so she didn't have to watch without being able to do anything of use. 'By the way-' Her head slightly tilted to the left, with a confusing look she watched the older womans. 'What about Copper Rock Creek, they know you're here?' Kyrie didn't know about Nina's pack, not more than her friend had told her the first time they met. In her little head it were nice wolves who she may get along with. Never met one though. Still, it would be a bit strange that a other member of a pack was healing by a other pack. Kyrie could not think she would be able to rest in a strange Den without the approval of her Alpha. Actually the white woman didn't gave it much more thought earlier because her head was busy with other things. Now she just thought a bit more but it wasn't really her business was it? Probably Elettra had sorted things out in her head. Since it was Elettra after all..

Wonderful Idea!

Elettra would offer a small nod to Nina then, acknowledging her thanks despite how much pain she must be in, even with the bone placed back into it's original spot. The still youthful Kyrie questioned then, inquiring on what to do with Nina and of course, what Copper Rock Creek might think, if they even knew at all that Nina had left. "Allow for the herbs to work into her wounds and give her a few hours to rest first. When she is able to walk bring her back to the den and-" It is then her gaze averts to the Copper Rock Creek woman. "make sure she does not use her injured leg at all." She finishes with her warning to Nina. She would do just fine as long as she hopped along back to the den on three limbs. Of course, it would take much longer, surely with more breaks due to this, but at least there would be no risk of her popping her bone out of place a third time. Two was enough, in which surely even after it mended together, it would be quite delicate compared to her others. A third time breaking might render it useless forever, in which Elettra had no willingness to chew the lame limb off in that case. "I'm going to take Skana and were going to travel to the Secluded Spring to inform it's leaders. It will be a few days travel, so let Koda and the seconds know of my leave." And with that, she dipped her greying rimmed muzzle into each of their directions before making off into the heart of their territory before making way for her journey.
