http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c58/becuffin/Val-1.jpg) bottom no-repeat; background-color: #2d6385;"> The grey wolf hummed as he danced across the rise. His legs lifted high as he all but pranced through the blanket of fireweed. Almost unexpectedly, with a swing of his large head, tongue lolling out of his mouth, so relaxed, he broke into song. Voice ringing loudly across the crimson expanse. The brute had nothing to fear. ”She's a natural law, and she leaves me in awe, She deserves the applause, I surrender because... She used to look good to me, but now I find her... Simply irresistible.” His front legs came to a halt as his rear end continued to dip and sway to the music only he could hear. His eyes scanned out across the familiar expanse as he hummed along to the tune in his head. This place had always been one of his favourites, and now, it was even more inviting. All he was missing was a girl to keep him warm for the night and he would be in wolfy heaven. He had found he had come to enjoy the humans music, almost as much as he had enjoyed their slow and stupid sheep. If anything, he was in even better shape than when he left. Of course it hadn’t taken them long to track him down, and once he was caught they dumped him back in the wilderness, where he apparently belonged. A deep breath told him others had passed by recently. If his singing hadn’t attracted their attention, perhaps he would need to go for a walk. For now, he was content to enjoy the sun as he continued to make his way across the rise. |

Life could not get better, it seemed. A lazy walk brought the woman along, her lithe figure sweeping through the edge of the forest and into the rise as she came forth. The scent of the crimson flowers hit her nose; she smirked lightly. She was getting used to this. Soon enough, though, the flowers would wither, and the snow would reclaim the open area. What a shame that would be. Something so polychromatic becoming monochromatic in what seemed to be the blink of an eye. The seasons went by so quickly. With a gentle sigh, Idala allowed her black paws to flatten the flora as she walked through. The smirk that was upon her slender muzzle was now gone; her facial expression remained neutral. Not much was on her mind- why should there be? Every damn wolf she ran into thus far was odd, or troublesome. Perhaps entering this region was a bad idea... maybe it was a mistake. Nothing had been going well for her, thus far. There was no fun. Slowing her pace now, the woman eventually halted, allowing her rump to plop down carelessly on the red and orange flowers. As soon as she hit the ground, her fluffed tail wrapped around her right haunch as she shifted to get comfortable. The sun smiled down upon her, glistening on her chocolate-tan coat. Closing her fiery eyes, she allowed herself to relax and listen to the birds on the edge of the forest. <b style="color:#786c61">"speech." |

http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c58/becuffin/Val-1.jpg) bottom no-repeat; background-color: #2d6385;"> The scent that passed his nose was decidedly feminine... and alone. A confident smirk crossed his face as his torn ear flicked back and forth to shoo a particularly annoying fly. At first he had been worried about the damage done, but apparently it had only added to the silvery males rugged good looks... or at least, he’d had far better luck with the ladies since, so it must be the case... Maybe it was just because he had been outside of this area... The women here seemed to have a higher rate of crazy than the rest of the world. A light chuckle under his breath wouldn’t be heard by a passer by. He had made an acquaintance on the way and he spoke words of great truth when he had told Valiant ”Bitches be Crazy...” That they were. He was still walking in time to the beat of the song in his head, legs picked a little higher than necessary and his head still bobbed from side to side a little comically, but he had never been a self-conscious wolf, and so he continued on towards the scent of the female he was yet to lay eyes on. Finally, up ahead, there she was. He let loose a short bark in greeting as he confidently continued his way over to where she sat, tail wagging behind his large and overly fluffy frame as he came to stop a short distance away. ”Whats a pretty little thing like you doing out here all alone?” he questioned smoothly, confident smile speaking of almost harmless intentions behind his question. |

Lids fluttering open, she turned her head, orange-gold eyes falling upon a fluffed wolf that loped up to her. With his words, she smirked, quickly rising to her feet. With a flick of her dark tail, she allowed herself to shrug. The gray and white wolf before her was rather handsome, and the seductress could not help but to keep the smirk upon her muzzle. <b style="color:#786c61">"Oh, just enjoying the weather before it begins to get cool..." She allowed her eyes to wander, pupils focusing upon a puffy cloud within the bright sky. After a moment, though, her eyes were locked onto his yellow eyes. <b style="color:#786c61">"What's a handsome wolf such as yourself doing out alone?" She turned the question right back on him. Let's see how he would react. Finally. Perhaps this wolf wasn't as bat-shit crazy or odd as any of the others she had previously met. It seemed like that's all these lands were full of- it was slowly making her want to leave. There was no time to lose faith just yet. |

http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c58/becuffin/Val-1.jpg) bottom no-repeat; background-color: #2d6385;"> He replied to her smirk with one of his own. After all this time it couldn’t possibly be so easy. It never was. ”Oh but there is very little wrong with the cooler weather... It’s just another reason to come up with creative ways to get warm...” The silver wolf gently quipped back with a seductive growl underlaying his tone as he inched closer to the dark lady, watching for a tell-tale sign of tension to bring himself to a halt until he could wear her down some more. When she turned his own question back on him, he couldn’t keep the smile from his face. ”Oh you know how it is... Enjoying the weather... looking for company... It can be awfully lonely being alone...” He paused for a moment, to give his words a chance to sink in before plonking himself into a casual seated position and raising one of his legs for a good scratch behind his ear, allowing his tongue to loll comically from his mouth. He finished the exercise with a good shake, allowing his ridiculously fluffy coat to stand on end, leaving him with an almost bearish appearance. ”I’m amazed one of the local packs hasn’t snaffled you up yet...” he mentioned casually before allowing himself to stretch. It was all quite casual, and yet it served its purpose, showing off his physique at all the right angles. ”Valiant.” he finally offered up his name with a goofy smile. Who could imagine what less than honorable thoughts ran through the mind of such a simple, adorable, seemingly harmless wolf? |

http://i1081.photobucket.com/albums/j347/holdbacktherain/tables/idalatab.png) top center no-repeat; background-color: #aa998a;"> Well, this was getting interesting... fast. Idala felt a warm wave of heat override her, and she swished her tail, turning away from the wolf for a moment. After that brief second passed, she turned toward him, quartering him. If he wanted to show off himself, she'd show herself off as well. With the smirk still on her muzzle, the woman released a small titter. <b style="color:#786c61">"Snaffled me up? What makes you say... such a thing?" She was going to pick at his brain; listen to all the flirtatious words he could roll off his tongue. Almost forgetting her sarcastic joke, she smiled a toothy grin now, allowing herself to wink at his. Fiery eyes resting upon him, she spoke <b style="color:#786c61">"You need to stay warm? You've got quite a coat on you, there." It was more teasing than sarcasm. She padded around the side of him, golden eyes locked upon his frame as she did so. He didn't seem like a threat... but was this a trap? As soon as he had spoken his name, she felt her mind ease a bit. <b style="color:#786c61">"Idala" She replied, the toothy grin resting into a half-grin now. |

http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c58/becuffin/Val-1.jpg) bottom no-repeat; background-color: #2d6385;"> Truth be told, he had never really had a thing for dark coated girls, but then again, he never really had a preference either, they were girls, that was enough. It just seemed the dark ones tended to carry an extra gene for crazy. It was usually enough to keep him away. But this one seemed different, maybe it was because, beyond her face and legs, her body was sprinkled through with chocolate highlights. Maybe he had just been alone for far too long. "Idala...” he allowed the name to roll of his tongue with the hint of an appreciative growl beneath his voice. It was a pretty name no doubt. ”Well, most loners eventually go off and find a pack to join, very few get turned away. Even did it myself once...” he added as an afterthought. He would need to go an see Jayse at some point, let her know he was back in the area if he was needed, but he had no desire to rejoin any pack. It just didn’t suit his roguish ways. Her quip about his coat bought a smirk back to his face however, it was true that his fur was long, but it served its purpose. “Well, it’s ok until the wind starts blowing...” he teased back. My my, this was an interesting encounter... “This is my favourite place around here you know?” he added almost out of the blue, but his change of direction always served a purpose. He inched closer again, every move calculated, yet appearing quite casual. “The flowers are beautiful...” he continued on, his voice dropping as he came closer. “But they pale in comparison to the present company...” he dropped the last with a small smile, daring to inch close enough that his silver fur brushed against her own darker coat, and he wondered how far this would go before she lost her nerve and ran away like so many others, or if perhaps, this time he would be more fortunate. |

http://i1081.photobucket.com/albums/j347/holdbacktherain/tables/idalatab.png) top center no-repeat; background-color: #aa998a;"> The chocolate toned woman remained calm, though an excitement begged to come forth through her. With her fiery eyes still locked onto him, her smile grew a bit wider, and she spoke. <b style="color:#786c61">"I've yet to explore a lot, Valiant.." Her voice was lush; its tones feminine and seducing. Observing the fluffy coated man, she soon felt her paws knead the earth as he slid next to her. She could feel the gentle touch of his light furs press into her; she remained still. This was interesting- no, it was fun. It was about damn time she met a wolf who wasn't out of his skull. Taking in his compliment, she allowed herself to growl playfully. <b style="color:#786c61">"Why thank you." Lowering her head, she peered up at him, a coy spark alighting within her bright eyes. With one smooth action, Idala brought her head upward, nipping gently at the wolf's chin. With the smile upon her maw, she swept herself away, doing a half-circle around him. <b style="color:#786c61">"I must admit" she started, tilting her head slightly as she paused during her half-circle. <b style="color:#786c61">"You are quite an... interesting wolf." As she said this, she chuckled, a light, airy laugh. As she stood stone-still, a strong breeze blew, and Idala felt herself shiver for a moment. Maybe he would notice... |

http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c58/becuffin/Val-1.jpg) bottom no-repeat; background-color: #2d6385;"> The nip on his chin was not unexpected and he almost could have whispered gotcha. But he didn’t. He was never one for counting his sparrows before they hatched. There was a lot that could change with the tiniest mistake on his part. So, he was content to keep up this strange little dance they had going on, because it would seem that she were toying with him as much as he was toying with her. Interesting... He had been called many things over the years, some of them not quite so flattering and interesting could be taken either way. Handsome was pretty easily a compliment, Jackass clearly was an insult, but interesting? A cheeky glint entered his eye as he added in retort “Not so bad yourself... Idala...” He still carried a small growl in his tone. His eyes said it all. He wanted her. She circled away and he watched her from the corner of his eye. He saw the girl beside him shiver as a cold breeze blew down from the mountain and he smirked internally. Inching closer he pressed into her side to lend her some warmth and his previous quip about interesting ways to keep that way didn’t seem so silly after all. “See now, I don’t mind sharing with the less fortunate.” his voice dropped to a whisper as he bought his muzzle to her ear. ”You don’t have to be cold if you don’t want to...” he teased as he playfully pulled on her ear, mingling his fur with hers yet again. She felt right next to him. Like she belonged there. But then again, he was yet to meet a lady that didn’t. |

http://i1081.photobucket.com/albums/j347/holdbacktherain/tables/idalatab.png) top center no-repeat; background-color: #aa998a;"> With eyes glistening, the merry yet devious woman lifted her head as the fluffed wolf cuddled beside her. Their furs blend together; dark met light. As the man's voice dropped to a whisper, Idala could feel herself quiver- nay, it was not the cold that made her do such. Excitement surged through her, and, repressing it the best she could, she leaned into the wolf. The sharp tug on her ear sent a snarl from her throat, but it was one of play rather than fight. Turning her head, she allowed her fiery eyes to look directly toward his own gaze. With a devilish look, she walked forward, side sliding alongside his as she stepped away from him. Quickly, she turned around, tail flicking as she raised a brow <b style="color:#786c61">"Oh, you are such a gentleman" Idala said, lush voice cooing at him. Tail swaying for a moment, she continued with her words, <b style="color:#786c61">"I can bear with a bit of a chill, though." With a quick wink to the lighter colored wolf, she fully turned herself around now, facing Valiant. With the excitement controlled now, she stepped forward, placing each paw carefully in front of the next. Like a graceful, deadly flower, she paced up to him, eyes widening to display a sort of innocence. It seemed this wolf wanted to tease. So be it. Though slightly interested in this wolf, she would continue to test the waters until her mind told her it was fine. <b style="color:#786c61">"speech." |
