Elettra Archer
Injury had pushed it to madness - to stupidity. With a kill in sight, it's eagerness had left it with loss of sense, perhaps overwhelmed and enveloped in Elettra's intoxicating scent that it had all but believed the other larger wolf to have left the weaker of the pair behind to her fate. Perhaps, had Siku been as evil as her reputation presented, she would have left and with Elettra, the Queen of her land, to likely falter. Though the wolf pair's reason for law and determination to end a threat to their own kind whether it be this day or the next, brought the perhaps unlikely couple to band together for this one, single act.
By ratiocination the two wolves built their quite simple trap: Elettra was they prey, luring the predator into the most perfect situation. It was a quick, swift maneuver that would leave both wolves smart enough not to have to go face to face with the wild cat to risk injury by long, slashing claws. Elettra set up the position and Siku extinguished the final act.
The cougar lunged and the black, large beast lunged after and Elettra, swift as her limbs would allow, fled in a dodge to the side to avoid tumbling firstly. Her ass all but met with her throat as she jumped out of the way, wiping around fast enough to see the cougar lung head first into open air. Had it not jumped so vast as to leap onto Elettra, it might have been able to scratch at the edge of the mountain side and clawed it's way back up. But with such a leap, such an injured flank and such stupidity, did it tumble - all the way down.
Though the plan had been perfectly made and with quick though, still a shock came over Elettra, an excitement for the accomplishment, as her head leaned just slight over the side of the cliff to see the cougar's tumbles, hitting rock as it met it's end. Now it was the prey. May the vultures feast well this night.

Siku Tartok
scarlet took a tumble
Contact. Her added momentum to the cougars attack left it no way back, no way of survival. It was over the ledge in seconds, and Siku's forelegs pressed downward so as to cease her own movement. She managed to, and when she did, she was able to hear the thudding of the creatures body as it hit and rebounded off the ledges beneath. Siku, alongside Elettra, looked down. It's tumble did not last long, and its death had been immediate. It's body was strewn in a way that was not right, and Siku mapped out the way down. This would be an easy meal, should she be able to find a way to the thing.

Siku was a wolf who did things that benefited herself. She could have left Elettra for dead, but why when killing the beast would help her sons that would undoubtedly be in the area soon to find her? The Issumatar licked her chops hungrily as she looked to the beast again, having formed a path with her minds eye. It was a dangerous one, full of precipices; but mountains and ledges were what Siku traversed best, what she knew well. Should the way become too dangerous, she would turn back; but, feeling as though her life would go on, she looked to Elettra one last time before turning to depart. They were well met, and Siku would not soon forget her apparent partner. Names were unnecessary. Her scent was known.

Elettra Archer
They stood their staring at their victory but a moment as in time Siku mapped out a way to which she might scale the high edge of the cliff side in order to meet once more with the cougar which, had they not worked with one another in this, could have been ether or their ends. As Siku passes Elettra one last glance, the Ridge Leader dips her head in a sign of farewell. There was no words which had passed between them, none which needed to be said on this quick, dangerous encounter they held with one another. The Archer heiress was eager to get home and quickly, though unwilling to try and best herself along the cliff side's steep edges. Once more she moved towards the more or less 'path' which she had come here from, taking in a deep breath of the Hot Springs which had first drawn her. Likely, unscathed as she was, none of her allies or pack mates would ever know the deathly encounter she had faced this day.
