{Ill} Why was everywhere he went so creepy? The lanky yearling had begun to grow used to his new home within Spectral Woods, as the strange mist inhabiting the area was no longer bothering him. However, the territories surrounding the woods held the same eerie demeanor; tall trees looming over him, placed so closely together that it made it nearly impossible for him to venture through them. But the boy was determined, and wanted to see as much of Relic Lore as possible. When he had first arrived, the ghost had been tempted to leave immediately upon entering the lands – he had missed his family and felt guilty about the disappearance of his brother. Now that he was bound to not only Anastasia, but also Capella, XIX couldn’t abandon them. This was his home and until he had a good enough reason to leave, he would remain here. Due to his awkward, long legs Lachesis was running into many problems as he tried to maneuver through the Copse. Tree trunks and low branches forbid him from moving forward and directed him away from where he wanted to go. The normally calm yearling was growing frustrated, brows permanently furrowed as he struggled to explore the area that was desperately trying to keep him out. The heavy layer of branches caused the forest to be shrouded in darkness, only a few spots of sunlight managing to penetrate to the ground, illuminating the path that XIX was taking. Although the area was intimidating, the nervous boy was intrigued by the beauty hidden beneath the protection of the tall trees. He wondered how many wolves before him decided to make this trek and battled their way deep inside the woods – and how many got lost trying to find their way out. |
