He remembered seeing Elettra soon after... Forgetting her, even. He winced, gaze drifting over the treetops towards where the Willows lie. He'd lead beside the woman, not lovers but they had been partners. It almost felt like betrayal to have left her, now. He couldn't say he would trade what he had now, a prosperous pack, his mate, his young and healthy cubs, for the life he had back at Willow Ridge. But his sense of duty told him that he had indeed abandoned her, even if he had done what was the best option at the time. He owed the black lady at the very least, if not a gift of meat for her caches, at least a visit.
Koda wasn't sure if Nina knew he remembered most, if not everything, now. Nina seemed to have enough intuition to figure out most things, perhaps she could tell he now remembered his time in the Lore. He hadn't told her outright yet, only gaining his memories back as Cisco lay dying after the battle. It seemed an awkward, unwieldy thing to bring up now and he could never find the right moment for it with the children nipping at their heels. And still there was the shame of admitting how much he had forgotten and the oaths with Elettra he had unknowingly broken. But Nina deserved to know all and everything, and he tipped his head back and called a song for his mate.
Arla and Emma are the ish and made my pretties!
Koda will most likely always be accompanied by Chiron unless otherwise stated, or requested.
