@Rouce
After Muerda had walked for some while she came across water. It was fresh beautiful water. Her green eyes staring at the water not sure what to do. Surely there was fish in there for food but she wasn't one who cared for fish much. Whispering softly to herself "Oh hvordan jeg har savnet den søte vann.". It was her native tongue. No one knew about it because Muerda thought it would be weird for others to know. Her language had been Norwegian, something she did not come across often. Saying these words soft and swift with a light accent. Not like the usual thick accents.

Breaking into a fast trot Muerda headed straight for the water. The smell of fish was strong but that didn't stop her. Coming up to the bank she took a few laps of the water. It was cold and refreshing. Tilting her head up she noticed the sky was dark. In her mind this meant a storm would soon appear whether it be in hours, days or weeks she was sure a storm would come. Maybe not a big one, just a storm.

Walking into the water a bit she was determined to get a fish just to satisfy her hunger. Muerda hadn't ate in about five or six days. Slowly she watched some fish swim by they seemed to be Coho Salmon. Trying to be fast Muerda would splash her muzzle in and try to bite a fish. After her fifth time at trying she simply gave up.

She hadn't liked fished any ways so there was no need to get frustrated, but she did anyways. "Pokker fisk. Jeg håper dere alle dør.". Getting out of the water she sunk down into the grass just to enjoy the view of everything. Later on she would fix her hunger.

in the heart you are the safest

Heartleaf wind ripples across rusty fur that hides a forlorn girl who is moving away from something great and heavy. It is as if a flake of rust has fallen from the purple skies and drifted as far as it can before grass blades could catch it. She is lone, but somewhere in her soul there is a peaceful hum that rattles her brain and weighs about as much as relief. The vagueness is real. It surrounds her here with swirling skies that leak a cold drop of atmosphere helter-skelter and brush a sudden coolness down the tubes of her nose. Clear eyes gaze outward upon the interestingly shaped leaves that coat the ground like a path. Somehow, possibly through metaphor, they welcome her. The innocence is alive with the newest chance of renewal - rebirth.

She'd been exploited, this Rouce girl. Drained from all who loved her and she walked away from them, with a tongue sore from all of the words that hurt the most to say. It was all there was to say. The pack concealed her truths. What they were covering was what they didn't know. How can you conceal the truth of fire that burns even in the rain? But they were the ones who were stupid enough to underestimate her. It is not possible to dig under and around a fire like her, no Rouce burned them all to their bones when they exposed her from the rest and made lies of who she is, or at least who she was. But fire is a strong whim that always returns, maybe different from before but all there. Rouce is a child of war who is standing in the path of fate. She has no decisions but the ones she came with. She is hard to understand.

Creek wind continues to ruffle the rust of her as she walks, ever on her toes but with the inelegance of life weighing down on her center of gravity. The Melif child swallows before seeing the silver creek race across the pebbles. Dryness seeps into her throat, and desire pulls her over by a thread. She is careful before she begins to lap, watching fish scales dance under the raindrops - but something drifts in the wind before it catches the attention of the fish in the water. Upon inhale, another wolf, nearly as amber as she is, rockets wildly through the chilly stream chasing the slippery fish that scatter seemingly as soon as she makes effort to jump. Coiling the muscle beneath her rugged fur, the masculine girl leaps in effort to escape from the fray, cool eyes wide as it unfolds. She submisses to the surprise, eyes instantly turning light, body hunching on the floor. Her heart rattles in her chest as the bewilderment passes. She looks into the other female's green eyes with all intention of disgust before pushing back up onto her paws.

Above all she is irritated now. And she glances coldly at her paws before blurting, "So what the hell was that?"

A small laugh came out when another wolf appeared. Muerda knew she wasn't all alone out her. But when the wolf questioned her she turned her mind back to a better known language, English. "Well that was my Native tongue. For I don't speak it a lot around other wolves. It's Norwegian. It was long forgotten by my family.". Her mouth became sour tasting when she said family. It's not like she had any, that she knew of. Her children long gone along with her mate. The only one she could think of was Narime. Even more sour tastes flowed into her mouth. The thought of that child leaving her along with her father was horrid. How could they do such things?

Scanning over the other wolf in front of her Muerda noticed they were the same size. "So what is your name and what brought you here?". Curious of how to see how the other female acted she would ask questions. Find out more about her. Maybe she could be of use.

Slowly sitting down on her hind legs she took another drink of water. The smell of fish was over powering but it wouldn't kill her. It was a mystery how a wolf could each such smelly things. Didn't they taste bad? Wouldn't something that came out of the water taste gross and slimy? Muerda's mind bouncing around with questions she just waited until the other wolf answered her. She had all the rights in the world to know about this wolf. If the wolf in front of her asked her questions Muerda would answer as truthful as she felt she should be.

Growing more hungry by the minute she knew she would have to go on a hunt tonight. Whether it be for something small or something big. Maybe this wolf could help her hunt. It would rise her chances of bringing something bigger and better down. That's just what she would aim to do. Bigger and better is always the best. At least it was for her.

The bounciness and perhaps the wetness of Muerda's first impression bleaches her expression stone cold. Rouce sits up again, perplexity rocking in her brain as the clangor of this strange girl's voice rushes out into the damp world. Really all that she could come to conclude was: "What?" With no whys attached. The cold-eyed girl felt exploited, ruined by this. Rouce was hindered by the speed that all of this occurred, all with no formality and no sense. 'Is she insane...,' she thinks, taking time to breathe and recover a normal heartbeat while the strange girl babbles along. Somehow her words strung out, drying after having been dipped in a foreign tongue that was almost nonsensical to listen to. Rouce stands now, tail tipped downwards, rolling her head to one side. She takes a step backwards, feeling not in the ways of stepping down from Muerda, but stepping away from her. The oddity was nearly frightening.

Rouce couldn't help but nod as the red and black furred wolf ended her language clarifications. Feeling nearly enough threatened by the accentuation of what sounded to be the word 'family.' And without much thought but a look up and down this stranger began to fire away questions. Rouce needed to stop. She needed to think. Already beyond her sense of even talking, coming from a place that she couldn't truly be with peace in, she wasn't at all prepared for confrontations like these. Interaction, as important as it was, could almost be nonexistent if it was going to be like this from now on. The ruby furred wolf couldn't even make herself laugh. "Rouce," She begins eventually, discomfort dripping from her voice. "my family and I lived up north, but I've been here a while."

She definitely wasn't trained to act normally in situations like these. The red child felt uncomfortable even revealing her name to this stranger. She didn't mind saying where she was from though, Rouce would be completely fine if she went to visit her family all dead and burned down. There was literally nothing left. The fire burned the forest entirely. She was just lucky she managed the escape. If she could escape a fire like that, she could surely escape a Norwegian speaking canine.

(Sorry about my crappy post I'm trying to do like 3 things at once)

Muerda smiled trying to be nice. "Well it's nice to meet you Rouce, I'm Muerda former Alpha of Dnakinna Pack. South of the Relic Lore.". Saying this proud and strong she suddenly lost her cockiness. What did she have to be proud about? Muerda had ruined the place. Running it to tight with her punishments from anger. Standing up she shook any dirt from her fur. She did like to look good. Green eyes scanning over the wolf. Noticing she had a build to her and her grey eyes seeming out of place like Muerda's green eyes. Bright against her somewhat turning dark fur.

Flicking her tail a bit she returned her attention back to what Rouce might say. Or what she might do. Muerda did enjoy a good tussle but if there was no point in it she saw no fun. So hopefully this wolf won't attack without any good reasons. Thinking of something to say nothing came to mind. Ask more questions? Or tell more about herself? Turning to face the water Muerda opened her maw a bit. "Would you like something to eat? Fish or shall we go hunt?". It was a nice offer for her to make. She usually didn't like to share things but if it was something she had to do to gain trust then she would. At the state she was in it might help to have some people who you can trust.

Looking at the fish swimming by it was kinda pretty. But that smell ruined it. Made Muerda want to possibly throw up. Holding it back she forced a kind smile instead to offer to Rouce. Trying to make her feel welcomed.

The oddities - they were becoming more useful. Somehow Rouce felt a calm in the brief silence, between the words of exchange. In the quillet of a moment she was spared the brevity of rain pooling into Heartleaf's stream. A leaf painted youthful green by a fresh season, a season of renewal floated past. It was just long enough of a moment to give her the hope she needed to face the day again. She'd almost lost herself. Freedom, she thought, would welcome her with the brightest of hopeful eyes, but she was as soon reminded that all eyes had to blink. This was just a blink of a day. The red-child had seemingly misplaced interaction as a part of daily life. One moment wasn't worth fretting over.

She turned her eyes to Muerda finding a politeness spoken in her features. 'She was probably just as off guard as I was,' Rouce concludes mentally. And the girl's voice turned a whole new tune, seemingly to Rouce. She returned the favor, lips turning up at their edges, gray eyes following. She wasn't sure about gestures, but smiles sure worked efforts on rainy days. "Well Muerda, it's nice to meet you as well."

Rouce found it funny how subtleties like the raindrops free-falling could ease a constricting twist of situation. She thought that staying solitary would give her the strength she needed to move on and away. The red girl lets her tongue loll over the side of her mouth, tasting the raindrops though a few pants. Muerda continued to speak. "Would you like something to eat? Fish or shall we go hunt?" Rouce was surprised, at least that she would ask a complete stranger to track a meal with her. But oddly enough the red child was not searching for food as much as she was the solitude of a morning to herself. "I could accompany you to hunt, I guess," she says, licking her lips to the thought of a mouthful of elk leg. "I'm sure we could find something, perhaps if we go deeper into these trees."

Wagging her tail a little bit Muerda looked around. So much woods to go but which one would hold deer, or elk. "I was thinking maybe we can go after some big game, maybe a buck or elk. Whatever one you don't mind.". Turning away from the water after a few last drinks she returned her attention to Rouce. Who seemed rather happy all of a sudden. She wouldn't question it. Just maybe she wants to be your friend. Go with the flow for once in your life instead of making the flow. Calmly she tossed her head to the left. A area of vast woods lay making a perfect spot for some deer to stay hidden. Maybe some elk too was hidden in the deeper parts. She could taste all the flavors now. Mixing together in her mouth. Smells over winding her nose. Closing her eyes she imagined it all coming together. Falling into place perfectly.

Turning her body to face the lush vast lands of woods to the left she took a step toward it. "If your fine with hunting in here I think it would be a great spot. It provides enough plants for them to eat. Along with cover to hide.". Shaking her fur one last time to clear anything off of it along with the water on her from the creek. Muerda was ready to go but was Rouce? They really couldn't spend all day talking if they were going to go hunt something down. First they would have to track then kill the animal they found. It would take some effort but in the end it would be worth it. For both Rouce and Muerda needed the strength to head where they both needed to go. The place where Muerda needed to go was unknown.

Standing there for a moment to see it Rouce would follow Muerda became quiet interested in her. "I think we should get to know more about each other before we part ways. You know ask questions about each other just to learn. If you don't want to I can do all the talking.". Muerda had always been rather good at talking in giving orders, but not usually telling people about herself. She would have to test it out on this wolf to see how well she could do. Personally to Muerda she was doing fine already. Maybe growing a "bond" with Rouce in this small time they had together would help her when she needed pack up for something. If a fight broke out and Muerda wanted a better chance of winning against a wolf she would call for Rouce. She wouldn't call it using but more of a extra paw.
