Maksim Baranski
Maksim Baranski was extremely protective over youngsters—should someone find issue with Titan Thorben staying with the River wolves then the agouti brute would certainly have to pull them up on it. It couldn’t be helped that the boy had gotten lost! Children wander, after all, but sometimes they go a little too far or a little too fast and lose the hand that guides them. Why, the leader could remember Mace racing down the rapids as if a lust for exploration had struck his paws suddenly one morning. But Mace … who knew where he was now? Whilst it still pained the Baranski, he had to reassure himself that there was hope for this swarthy cub; he could still be returned home.

The lad alerted Maksim to the fact he was well and full which the male responded to with a nod. They’d set off soon and get the Thorben into the pack den. He would have wolves of his own age to talk to, after all. The Attaya girls were very intuitive and if they gelled well with the boy then, even when returned home, they’d have a new friend. Before they made their move, the cub looked up to Maksim with blue, wide eyes and questioned whether he could take some of the moose with them. The Cut Rock leader nodded with a smile. <b style="font-family:georgia; font-size:11px; color:#619F28;">“Of course you may. The others will appreciate it, I think. Here, I’ll help.”

Repositioning himself at the hind leg of the towering beast, Maksim parted his jaws and sunk his yellowing teeth deep into skin and flesh. As if showing Titan how to do it, the agouti male began to twist and tug and pull at the limb. Minutes would tick by and his pale muzzle would be caked in blood before the task would be completed. It was a feral job, wild and brutal, as he worked through the meat. Then would come splitting it away from the joint.<b style="font-family:georgia; font-size:11px; color:#619F28;">

Titan Thorben
Do you want this to be the ending post? Or will Makism lead them away?

Watching the powerful male prop himself up against the moose remains made the cavern pup feel small in comparison. He couldn't reach the tallest tip of the moose ribs. In the back of the dark lads mind Titan wondered how long it would take him to grow. The boy desperately wanted to be thought of as a responsible adult. To him it felt as though time were slowly inching along; that childhood would last forever.

Titan smiled, his tail began thumping against the rib of the moose happy that he was able to help out some. The dark child followed the larger mans example and began gnawing on a piece of meat by what might have been the moose's chest at one point of time. His teeth were not as sharp as the adults, and the boy did not have the years of experience slicing up carcasses to feed himself like Makism had. So it took Titan much longer to chew his way through the tough meat. By the time he had taken off the largest hunk he could carry the young Thorben looked to the green eyed male nodding his head a little to say that he was ready to go.

"Eamgood du go..." He spoke with his mouth full forgetting the manners his mother had been trying to teach him. With a wagging tail the boy scratched at the ground excitedly. He was going to meet another family in another new land. Why wouldn't a childbe excited about another new adventure?

Last post - marking Titan as Cut Rock River!

The Cut Rock leader worked quickly and efficiently on the leg. He shifted his position, dug his paws into the ground and began to yank at the limb aggressively. Occasionally Maksim had to readjust his hold on the limb until with one swift pull it came away from the carcass, the agouti wolf chuffing in response to the action. He watched Titan work, silent as the lad chewed away. He did not give up, not once, until finally Titan pulled away his share of the moose’s breast. Glancing off into the surrounding forest, the Baranski briefly thought that perhaps a hunt would be a good idea soon. Tightening the bonds of the pack and filling the caches simultaneously would be an excellent occurrence with the coming winter months.

The Thorben boy alerted the older male he was ready to set off and, with a nod of his large head, Maksim stepped forward, brushing up against Titan as he did so, to lead the way to the River wolves’ territory. Of course, he’d take it slow—no need to overwork the boy, especially considering he was carrying a large chunk of flesh—and should the ebony cub desire rest he’d gladly stop to allow him a breather. The journey would not take too long, luckily, and they could get the youth settled swiftly.

Still, Maksim wondered how long it would take him to find Titan his mother. Would they ever? He shook the thought away, frowning slightly as he did. A stupid thought, really. No mother would intentionally abandon their child.<b style="font-family:georgia; font-size:11px; color:#619F28;">
