She was moving around today, slowly, but at least her leg was no longer threatening to give in with every step; Though it still BLOODY hurts! She kept to small rounds, often pausing to rest, and never straying far from the den. It was deeply frustrating being unable to move about as she pleased and feeling as weak as a new born pup after only a short walk; but there was nothing she could do, she needed time to regain her strength, and the leg needed time to heal. All she could do was wait. The medic in her knew better than to over strain herself, even when the boredom and uselessness got so bad she could scream, she just took a deep breath and had a drink, occasionally chewing on some scrub pine bark from the stores; I'll need to refill that as soon as I can travel again. Hopefully it wouldn't be too long. She wasn't particularly anxious to leave Woodlands territory again anytime soon, but spring and summer were peak gathering seasons for herbs, and she had a lot to catch up on; That and...

The rust pelted healer shook her head, for know she was land bound, and it wasn't all bad. Spring had finally arrived in The Lore, the sun arriving with her own homecoming it seemed; the thought made her chuckle to herself, wouldn't that be nice? She sighed lightly, pausing again in her walk, panting slightly even though she'd kept a slow pace; It's gonna be enough for the day soon... She could feel the muscles in her leg starting to ache and sad down in a spot of sun, bending back her head to feel the warmth on her face. Though the azure sky high above was clear, there was only few such drops of light on the floor of the thicket, the canopy above heavy with young leaves. When Aideen closed her copper eyes and breathed in, she could smell the many scents of spring, fresh shoots and flowers, new life all around. But she couldn't help but notice the absent things as well, the Woodlands had gone silent, only few distinct scents of wolves discernible in the breeze, while some were unmistakably gone; For good...
