For @Aesire we can use the dice system or just play this out as planned! Also for @Datura and @Gilligan in a few rounds after fighting has started.

August 5th

The sun had already been sinking for a few hours when the silver woman made her way through the stone kingdom.  Hanging low in the sky now the orb was a burning orange, casting the world in a pastel pink that made everything seem softer somehow. Everything except the thoughts in Aponi's head. Long ago she had sworn both to herself and @Phineas that she would take the crown to make her daughter proud and for too long she had laid dormant. Now that Hypatia had disappeared the only one stopping her was Aesire herself, and it was time for the woman's reign to crumble.

The mother hadn't spoken a word of her plan to anyone that day and had left @Kyna safely playing with @Maeve promising to be back soon. Now as she moved gracefully amongst the territory she would soon call her own Aponi could no longer hold her head low. No longer would she submit to anyone, her tail flew like a banner behind her and her gate spoke of utmost confidence; now she would get what she deserved. This may not have been the Pass where she had been born, but the mountain was her birthright all the same and now she could finally claim it back. An Aquila would reign over the crags once more as they always should have.

Coming upon the flattest part of the territory she could think of the young woman was too foolish to even think of the drastic drop. A mistake that could very well have fatal consequences if one wasn't careful, and Aponi had never been careful. Lifting her silver muzzle into the sky the Aquila called for her "queen", her song ringing and echoing back against the stone walls as if one wolf had become twenty. It was a song of joy and victory, yet the war had not even began.

Aesire Destine-Caravello
@Aponi - No need for rolls. Thinking a few rounds before Aesire slips and all that jazz. She can get kicked from the pack after this thread.
A pompous call from the maw of a stuck up wolf who thought just because her woe is me story got to some, meant that Aesire would willingly step down from her title as queen. As of the present time, her title was the only thing keeping her children and her mate safe, and thus she would defend it with her life. Her eyes narrowed as the peppered woman rose, nudging Wren and promising him that she would be back soon. She knew that Maeve often went to play with Aponi’s daughter, and Aesire did not stop her. She didn’t want to tear her daughter away from a friend, despite how much she had come to hate her mother despite never actually meeting her. She’d only caught glimpses of the Aquila youth.

This call was not the only change in the pack. Aesire noted that Hypatia had been nowhere to be found, which led Aesire to believe she would have to wait for Celandine to reach her second birthday before passing down the crown. She was good to her promise, and hoped that the princess would recognize that when she fulfilled the wishes and promises she had made. Aesire Destine was not a liar. She might have failed to mention things in the past, but she could not recall lying… ever.

She would arrive, her eyes narrowing as she instantly fell into a dominant and aggressive stance, and her defenses set as she let out a harsh snarl. “Over my dead body.” The words were simple enough, refusing to let Aponi get away with what she was doing. Not considering the changes it would make to her family, she noted she had the intentions to die before submitting to the overly agitating child. That was what she was to Aes, a child who needed to be put in their place.

Feel free to rough Aponi up a bit, she deserves it

The attitude that Aesire carried herself into the challenge with only further fueled Aponi's need to knock her down a peg. Silver woman faced grey, both with dominance in their pose and neither willing to give up without a fight. Good. It would have been too easy if the fae had just handed over the crown, no the Aquila wanted to rip it straight out of her paws so no one would doubt who the true ruler was. She wanted any potential challengers to remember the tales of this evening and rethink their decision lest they receive an equal beating. She was after all born and bred to lead upon this mountain, hardened by its height and experienced in its merciless winters.

Sinking down into a prowl the silver maw was adorned by a smirk, her eyes sparkling with both excitement and malice. Beginning to circle Aesire like a starving dog moving in on the last scraps of a juicy steak she practically cackled, "Your wish is my command my dear. It will be the last command you ever make as queen of the mountain, it would be an honour to fulfill it." Around and around she circled, the blue eyes flickering across the grey body looking for any weakness she might exploit. In the end there were no jarring soft spots, no matter the woman had claimed that she preferred her body to be dead after all. Without further hesitation she leapt, aiming straight for the soft fur on the side of her opponents neck. A spot where one swift flash of teeth could end her life in seconds if she was unprepared.

Aesire Destine-Caravello
Whenever you wanna throw her is cool with me, whether it be this round or three from now or whatever xD @Aponi
Aesire hissed as her hackles raised as her tail darted from side to side, lashing with the intent to maim or seriously injure. She had killed one wolf in her life and she wouldn’t be fond to kill another, especially not a mother. No, simply putting the monster in her place would do for now. Aponi lunged, aiming for her neck and that was when Aesire realized she needed to guard her life, her legitimate life, because Aponi saw her snide comment as permission for the low blows. She couldn’t do that to Wren or Maeve, not when they were so young. She hissed, turning her neck and body so Aponi’s teeth caught her upper thigh instead of her neck as Aesire reached for the nape of her neck, intent on making the girl beg for her to stop.

How was it a girl like this became a mother, and why again did Aesire let Maeve play with Kyna? Kyna wasn’t to blame; she had to remind herself that a child didn’t choose their parents. She was bristling, the fur moving at speeds she didn’t think possibly along her spine and neck as she prepared to do what she had to do to come on top. They were dangerously close to the edge, so Aesire would start to try and move away from it, not wanting satan’s spawn (a bit harsh but Aesire controls her own thoughts) any ideas about making Wren and Maeve motherless.

Surely the mother wouldn’t do that as their children were friends… right?
