Sylva Riverflow
@Ainashi @Gent

The ebony female limped slightly over the snow, she had been leading Zilas slowly toward White Fir Notch’s territory, there wasn’t much more she could do then clean his wounds until she could get to the den and grab what few herbs remained, their potency sadly having been reduced by the cold and any new growth killed off until springtime brought fresh birth to the herbs of the earth. Alot raced through the young woman’s mind, how would she go about bring this before Gent and Raela, Zilas had been a keystone to the pack back when they were Round Stone Crest, she couldn’t deny now that he had changed, maybe even a bit unstable, but she was sure his loyalty to the pack still could be rekindled, Gent would be the largest barrier they faced.

Sylva paused by the frozen stream’s edge, it was early morning, the dull sunlight shining through the barren branches of the trees above. “Come on, let’s rest your shoulder.” she murmured quietly, While his wound did seem to be healed enough for travel, Sylva didn’t want to cause any permanent damage to it by working the white wolf too much. She still had a lot of explaining to do justify her long absence from the Notch;s territory, but she felt that helping an injured wolf, even doubly so that it was Zilas would be enough, but she was ready to beg, plead and appease if she came upon the Alpha’s wraith, she was acting for the good of the pack. She settled down by the creek’s age “How are you hanging in there?”

@Gent @Sylva @Raela sorry for the wait

The ghost knew where they were going, know the road from the crest to the notch like they knew their own bloody past.  And it seemed that for every step the onyx woman brought them closer to the notch, for every step their body sunk closer and closer to the ground. They were afraid, afraid of what was to come up a head afraid of what would happen once the dark man found them. They fear his reaction more than they fear the risk of the wound on their shoulder growing worse. But the onyx wolf had made it clear that she need the herbs stored at the notch and so they set off towards the pack.

As the onyx woman came to a halt they to ceased to move mismatched eyes on her as she spoke. "yes thank you" the mumbled their words shaking just a bit, but they were great full for the use the wound to their shoulder seemed to burn just a little more for every minute they walked. The ghost sat placing all their weight on the good leg while carefully looking at their shoulder. The red harden shell of the wound stood out in their more or less white coat and they did not even dare to think how their ear looked. they knew that a piece was missing not only from what sylva had told them but also from the fact that everything sounded oddly due to the missing piece of ear.

"It hurts a bit, but we think we can make it" the said a small smile seemed to sneak onto their lips. Turning their head to look into the forest their eyes fell back and a small whine escaped their inky lips. "we should not go any further, the kin.... Gent will not like that we are back, that we are on his territory"The ghost said fear filling their body slowly. They feared that the dark man would come feared for not only themselves but Sylva as well. After all, she hed been with them for far too long.

That Sylva had not returned by the time he had from their separate scouting trips worried the man. At the least, they had a lead to go from: she had specifically asked for permission to scout out the Timbers. A few days were given, as he needed to ensure that @Kjell and @Bennett settled in properly and that the maimed man was being properly cared for with @Emrys' help. Yet time continued to pass without a sign of her, and Gent would wait no longer. It was very possible that the young woman was injured out there in the merciless snows, unable to make it back to the pack; far more likely than the chance of her abandoning the pack. So he determined that he would venture out to the woods that were so hauntingly familiar and see what he could learn.

But first, a quick hunt with @Raela. Food stores were far too low, and that took priority. A thin herd of deer had been spotted just outside of the territory, and the alpha pair intended to scout for any weaknesses before calling the hunters to strike. Instead of their prey, however, that lost member and her unwilling booby prize appeared.

Gent's ears perked and his pale eyes widened with keen surprise. Zilas. He hadn't thought to ever see the man again, and a mixture of conflicting emotions began to crepitate within his chest. His mouth formed a thin line of resolution as he pressed forward, wading through the snows to meet the duo. It was evident that Zilas was injured, and he could easily surmise this was why Sylva had taken so long returning to them. It did not reflect poorly on her, but he had to wonder just how worth it the sacrifice would prove to be.

"Zilas," he greeted once close enough, neither his voice nor his features giving any indications as to how he felt about the wolf's return. Not before he had an explanation.

Raela Lieris Asurn
Raela had grown quite worried over the absence of the quirky little medic of theirs, especially because it was so out of character. Sure, Sylva could do foolish, naive things but not once had she gotten herself lost. And perhaps lost was one of the better things she could have been after so many days. She dreaded to consider the real possibilities, just as she had when winter had stolen Minka's brood. It was another worry to add to the growing stack; built up by the arrival of two new very injured mouths to the Notch's infirmary, and during a growing scarcity of food.

It was uncomfortable inside her head, to say the least. The hunt was to be a good distraction. She didn't like the thought of Gent leaving again, and so soon after his scouting mission, but if there was any hope of bringing the dark girl home then they needed to take it. The nearby creek trickled louder and louder in her ears as the Alpha pair neared it, unaware yet just how fortunate they would be. The animals' trail was bringing them closer and closer to the water, and then... Raela's golden eyes found them as her mate's did. Her head and ears shot up, nose quivering as she tried to assure herself that it was indeed @Sylva at the water's edge; alive, unharmed.

Gent had begun to move, and Raela proceeded with him, though more hastily. Was that... the silvered form, evidently bloodied from some kind of altercation, was harder to recognize. It had been a long time. The matriarch hadn't expected to see Zilas again. Not anticipating the man to be any sort of threat to them, Raela turned her attention to the young female at first. Her stare burned with questions as the Notch king spoke, obviously choosing the other party. "Sylva," she then breathed, sounding something akin to astonished. "What happened?" Raela would reserve her judgment for the time being, allowing concern and curiosity to dominate her countenance. She was too grateful that at least the yearling was here, and not evidently injured, to deal with the apparent deserter just yet.

@Aniashi @Gent @Raela

Sylva nodded toward Zilas as he spoke, he was right, though she wasn’t sure what Gent’s reaction would be, Zilas from what she could tell, had been one of the black king’s oldest supporters. The abrupt disappearance had damaged their relation, that she was positive about, but could she call on the good times they shared in her appeal to bring the injured wolf home? It didn’t look like she’d get much more time to think. She bit her tongue, wanting to tell Zilas that he wasn’t a risk, and nothing in his past would harm the Notch, but before she could say a word, the brush rustled and a sight she was both happy and distressed to see. Famailer Glacial blue eyes narrowed as a familiar voice spoke.

Gent and Raela had found them before she had been able to better plan how to bring the subject up. Swallowing, Sylva decided to abandon any form of plan and fall back onto her tried and true method of winging things, but cautiously, it wasn’t her future on the line but Zilas’s. A breath of relief escaped though, she’d be able to get through this as Raela addressed her.

“A lot has happened Raela...I went out hunting and found blood, I followed it to a lost wolf who’s finally come home…”

@Gent @Raela @Sylva

The ghost looked at the Sylva for a moment a small whine escaped their lips before they straightened up a bit turning to carefully allow their tongue to carefully touch the edges of their shoulder wound. Then things went spiraling to the ground in seconds. Out of the woods came two well-known shapes, one inky black the other in browns and grays. The black king and his queen appeared mismatched eyes meeting glacier blue for just a second, for just a second they sat frozen in place.

Thier miss-matched eyes widened in fear and the air around them grew thick with their fear scent. The ghost dropped to the ground, carrying little for their shoulder, resulting in blood slowly making its way down their front leg as the wound was reopened. Pain and fear took over the mind of the Ghost Run! IT howled in their head but the only motion they were able to force into action was a slight backing away from the king. Then the dark man spoke their name, giving no hints to what the king was thinking nor when the blow would fall. For it would, that the ghost was certain off. Disobedience and failure were always followed by punishment, just like it had been with their father, the white king and the wolves of Fenrir's Grasp. They knew they failed him that they had failed the only wolf to ever look at them with more than disgust in their eyes.

"My Kin....Gent" They said their voice almost nothing but a whisper as they forced themselves to call the man by name rather than than title. Thier eyes falling to the ground as their tail was tugged tightly aginst their belly.

Post edited to reflect new plan: Zilas will post an exit next, and there will be a second thread to determine his eligibility. This thread may be continued by Sylva and Raela after Wolfsi's next post, if you'd guys like. c:

His ears flicked to the side as Raela questioned their subordinate, but his pale eyes remained locked upon Zilas' features. As was to be expected, the other man had fallen into submission, but he merely greeted Gent and said nothing more. His student's own quick summary was heard, and only briefly did his gaze leave the white wolf to regard her. That was not a Sylva-esque answer, especially when she preluded it with 'a lot has happened.' Despite her improvement, she still didn't spare many details when recounting events. But now, she was being overly cautious of her words.

She was nervous.

Pinning Zilas once more with his stare, he let a moment of silence pass before commanding:

"Come with me."

They needed to talk, privately and immediately. Sylva could be dealt with by Raela, while he got the answers he needed from Zilas. The other wolf clearly feared his wrath, but Gent also knew that if Zilas had ever trusted in another, it was the blue-black leviathan. Pale eyes shot a glance to his mate before he stalked away, leading the half-blind ghost out of sight and ear-shot.

The black king's eyes seemed to tear through them and had they not been almost holding their breath in fear over fucking things up even further they would mostly have let out a whine or whimper of sorts. Seeing that the king moved his eyes to Sylva before returning to them to the ghost once more.

Follow him? where to and why? would the king kill them for their disloyalty their betrail? They hesitated for a moment but somehow their legs started moving as the followed the king. "yes"  they spoke carefully words neutral but a bit shaky.

Thye crept after the king body still held low to the ground as they cast a short glance at the dark medic and the queen. Would Sylva be okay? This was their fault, not hers, they had kept her from retuning. They forced themselves not to look back as the two females disappeared behind them eyes locked on the king. Their mind a jumble uncertain if they should brace themselves for an attack or take on an even more submissive posture.
