Larkspur Ritter
A cold rain had come and made the start of his trek uncomfortable. He didn't exactly dislike the rain, but it didn't make for comfortable traveling weather. He hadn't put a lot of distance between himself and Quaking Vale, still apprehensive about leaving the area. He could return, he could lie, but partially he had to go for himself. He had to do right by his new children, should there be any. It was an odd feeling, and he had never even considered that something like this would happen to him. Hell, he'd thought that he would have lived his life in Ritter Ridge, and that he would have given his position to one of his children. Had his life not been flipped upside down, Larkspur would have thought that the whole situation was funny. It had happened to the wolves around him, but to even consider that it could have happened to him...

It was all said and done now. Now all he could do was try and fix his mistakes. Larkspur sniffed at the ground, but could smell nothing more than mud and old scents. He guessed he didn't smell much like Quaking Vale anymore, which officially made him a loner. Hopefully temporarily, but maybe not.

He had told Kuwindwa that he'd be heading southeast, and now that he was away from the misty forest, started east. It felt nice to be alone, but the feeling would wear off. Larkspur liked to be alone, but he didn't like to be far from familiar faces. He was safer that way, and now a days all he really wanted was security. In Quaking Vale he had it, but out here he might as well be no better off than he had been when he'd first been chased out of his home. Larkspur stopped after finding a particular dry patch, settling down under a tree to watch the world go by.
