Had she known that her mother wouldn't be able to follow them to their new home she may not have been as accepting of Lachesis suggestion. At night the sight of her mother's form standing in the snow under the redwoods haunted her causing her to lose sleep. She liked their new home, a lot actually but she felt guilty. Should she like it when her mother was all alone. She knew that it had not been her mother's choice for them to be separated. Her mother had made her reasons for not allowing Oksana along but it left the pup conflicted. Should she be angry with Inna for making her go? Was Driftwood surge even the right place for her anymore?
Oksana thought of Reid as she traveled along a path that wasn't far from the border of the new pack. He would kiss her and they had promised forever. She couldn't leave him behind if she chose to strike out on her own. It hadn't been that long since they had left Hearthwood so Oksana decided to give it it's fair chance and see how she felt later. Her mother would want her to be happy so that was what she was going to try to do. For now she traveled carefully along the path that was a little Rocky and completely different than the one they had traversed before. She was in a mission to find out what there was to catch to eat, was it the same as in Hearthwood or were their different prey items. It was a question that Oksana had the hope of getting the answer by the end of the day.
At least that was until she found a fallen tree to investigate. She sniffed around the part of the tree that laid upon the ground before climbing on top of it. Her tail waved over her back as she tried to stand as tall as she could to see what she could see.
