Oksana Baranski

She looked out over the cliff edge being careful not to step too close. Below she could see the rushing water of the river. It was different from the river back home, it seemed bigger and moved faster. She was eager to get a little closer and explore around it. There were quieter parts to it too which might be good for swimming in summer. The fallen trees only added to the scenery but they might be fun to climb on if they could get to them. She'd never seen a place like this before and wanted to see more of it.

Oksana moved next to Reid brushing her side against his as she spoke of the cliff above the pit where they had met. Her orange gaze turned on the pale leader as he pointed out the way down and already the pup was ready to explore what was below. It seemed Lavender was just as excited because she was right behind the little Crow as she followed Reid to the bottom. We will be careful right Lav, she said from behind the red man.

When they reached the bottom her tail wagged as she gave lavender a playful bump on her shoulder. She then followed the younger Stark toward the edge of the water to investigate what they could find there. The rocks that surrounded them were smooth and snow covered which made them a little slippery. Her attention was drawn away from the water when Lachesis spoke and then her orange eyes turned on her agemate before moving to Reid. It's very pretty here, she said, And so much to do, she added as she first looked to Lachesis and then Lavender. I want to come back and explore more.

Reid Arwood

They had all reached the bottom without incident and Reid felt a small sigh of relief escape him. The red man hadn't wanted to deal with another tumble especially when there were two pups to worry about instead of one. When they did reach the bottom he found his gaze drifting over the smooth rocks and the trees that surrounded them. It felt protected with the wall at there backs and the river before them. Lavender walked up to the water and Reid gave her a grin at her smile. Even Sana looked happy and for Reid that was more important than how much he liked the place, and he did like it.

Lach asked them what they thought of the place and Reid glanced to him. Sana spoke up saying that it was pretty and that she wanted to come back and explore more. It's nice and feels like its protected. He began wondering what exactly the other man was looking for. I wouldn't mind coming back here either. The last part was half for Sana and half for Lach becuase he didn't want her to think about slipping out of the borders on her own when he wasn't looking.

Lavender Stark

The pale Stark nodded in response to Oksana’s words but did not respond. While the new territory was exciting Lavender was also aware that it was foreign to the group—which meant that it could hold potential dangers. She had to be careful not to get too excited and put herself at risk. Her father wouldn’t like that very much, and neither would her mother!

She liked the abundance of rocks on the lower level. They were all different sizes and shapes placed sporadically over the shore. Her nose wrinkled at the amount of snow covering them. This place was probably even better looking without all the cold white stuff all over the place. Her paws stamped excitedly along the ground. She couldn’t wait to come back in the spring, when the weather started to grow warmer (according to Ma) again. The snow was good for her and her pale coat, as it was easier for her to hide in plain sight, but it was cold and boring. She was ready for the warmth that came with summer.

I like it, too! She chirped in response to her father as she sidled up next to her ebony friend, her tail wagging frantically behind her. Even Reid had expressed that he was fond of the place. And he wanted to come back, too! Her tail wagged harder. Can we come back again, dad? Pleeaaaaaaase, she pleaded, her chartreuse eyes widening as she padded toward the pale figure of her father, a cheeky grin tugging at the corners of her mouth. Surely her father couldn’t say no… not when all three of them were interested in returning…

Lachesis "XIX" Stark
i'm going to fade with my next lachesis post if that's okay with everyone? <3

Their excitement radiated through the clearing—it was infectious. Lachesis could hardly contain his glee after hearing that all three wolves wanted to return to the surging river. A wide smile tugged at his pale features, his tail arching high above his back as it waved slowly behind him. He nodded at Reid’s words—feels like it’s protected. Lachesis felt safe among the evergreens and the glacier-fed river. The mountain loomed in the west, offering a barrier between the two sides of the Lore. And to the east, behind them, was the lake Lachesis was so fond of. He had everything he needed within reach here… and there were no ghosts. The air felt clearer; his shoulders felt lighter. There was a chance for them to start over.

What if we were to come back, he started, his peridots sweeping between the three wolves surrounding him, and stay here permanently? The question felt like a cannonball exploding off the tip of his tongue. His toes curled into the snow beneath him as he suddenly became self-conscious about his question, his ears cupped forward as he waited (impatiently) for their response. Would they be keen on the idea or would they shrug it off? His subordinates had argued about moving the pack once before… he did not want to go through the same situation a second time…

Oksana Baranski
That works for me. :)

In Oksana's opinion the place they had found was rather amazing and different from what she was used to. She wished her mum could he there to see it with her but she did have Reid, Lachesis, and Lavender there with her to experience it with. Her young friend seemed to agree with her words about the place. There were so many great things about it she couldn't decide what was her favorite. She did like that there was a river like back home, Oksana had grown to love the sound of the flowing water. Like the scent of Lavender it had become a comfort to her. The trees were different but she didn't find them to be different in a bad way. The land looked a little more rugged but she felt that was part of it's charm.

The little Crow agreed with Lavenders plea to her father with a nod of her head. However, surprise washed over her when Lachesis asked about coming back and staying. Oksana was at first a little unsure about this which was evident when her tail stopped wagging and she looked up to Reid. Leave Hearthwood? The home she'd known her whole life? Then she got to thinking about all the things that had happened there and all the things her mother had told her about. Her tail slowly began to wag again as she started to feel it might be good for the river wolves to leave the tall trees behind. Once again she looked over the land that was before her and decided, as long as she could have those she cared most about with her she would be happy anywhere. I think it's a great idea, she said as she turned back to the pale leader.

Reid Arwood
OOC: Sorry thought I had responded to this and go ahead and fade ^^

Reid was not expecting the words that came out of the ghostly male's mouth and his expression showed it. The red male wasn't attached to the Kingsfall like everyone else but he hadn't thought that they would be moving at all. For a moment he remained silent his expression turning thoughtful. Just because he was new to the pack territory didn't mean that the area didn't hold memories for all the rest. Probably some good and some bad. He gaze went to Sana as she responded that it was a great idea. Well that settled it for him then didn't it?

Why not? It's a good spot and no ones claimed it yet so there really isn't any reason not to. He said finally looking back to Lachesis with a nod. Heck, it might be easier for him to leave the woods than the others because he didn't have as many memories weaved in with the trees. So Lach had two that agreed from the current group but what about Lavender? Did she want to move from her current home?

Lavender Stark

She blinked in confusion at her father’s words. He… he wanted to leave Hearthwood? With her tongue pressed to the roof of her mouth she considered his suggestion, her chin tipping to the side. The others seemed to be in agreement, which surprised the little Stark. Especially Oksana. Reid had no ties to the Kingswood—moving would be easy for him. But… was she ready to leave? Her tail swayed slowly behind her as her ears twitched in thought, a small frown creasing her lips as she turned to her father. After a pregnant pause she nodded and the frown quickly turned right-side up as her demeanour changed. Moving the pack seemed like a wonderful idea. Sure, she had plenty of memories tied to the Kingswood, but things had begun to change… the adults were always so stressed and worried. Lavender didn’t really understand why, nor did she care to ask. It was none of her business unless they wanted to make it her business… but maybe she’d ask once they returned to Hearthwood, for her curiosity was starting to kick in. Yes, she responded verbally as she glanced over at her packmates, I think that’s a good idea, dad.

Lachesis "XIX" Stark
faded & archived! <3 don't forget to claim your discovering a subterritory LP! @Oksana @Reid

He did not know how they were going to react to his suggestion, for he had been greeted by protest the last time he’d suggested moving the pack. This time, however, Aytigin was on board, which made things easier for the weary ghost. In fact, he had been the most keen on the idea. It was the others Lachesis needed to work on, to ensure that he was making the best decision for the pack. The idea of returning to the surging river with just his family was a possibility as well, but he couldn’t do that to Hearthwood. Maksim. Kisla. He had fought so hard to keep the pack afloat for the two Baranski’s; he wouldn’t let it crumble that easily. If he was moving so was the rest of the pack. And they would preserver, just as they always did.

Both Oksana and Reid expressed that they weren’t opposed to the idea of staying at the mountain river permanently, which caused his shoulders to sag in relief. That was two down, one more to go… his ears twitched in the direction of his daughter, his chartreuse gaze soft as he observed her pensive features. But then she, too, complied. Excitement radiated off her and consumed the older Stark, causing a wide grin to stretch his dark lips upward. Good, he hummed, his tail wagging behind him as he took a step back from the group. Let’s explore a little more before heading back to Hearthwood… just remember to steer clear of the river! With a curt nod the Stark padded along the edge of the pebbled each, his chartreuse gaze sweeping over their new surroundings as he allowed his packmates to explore the river’s edge before making the journey back to the Kingswood…
