Nineva Hervok
For @Ash and @Elias only. Dated for the 9th of March, a sunny and unseasonably warm noon.

call me up

cause i will always be there

Soon, these woods would be alive again. Her stomach would swell as the snow and ice receded, and so much of her life would change. She would either have Elias at her side, or be alone to bring new life into the world. All of it sounded wonderful, set loose butterflies in her chest to think of, because regardless of what lie before her she knew that motherhood would make it perfect. Perhaps that was what put her in such a good mood, despite the wealth of emotions she had been drug through with @Veho and @Felix's sudden return. Maybe it was Elias' attentiveness and bright presence, or the warmth of the sun against her thick winter coat.

Regardless, she was smiling more frequently than she had in quite a while. Always wanting to move, act, prepare she was already searching for where the den should be. The Hollow's was free, as were the Caverns despite the new pack occupying the Lagoon, but she did not want to birth her child into a ghost town. Nineva wanted novel, fresh, uncluttered by memories and regrets. That was what had caused her paws to take her so far, and unknowingly so close to her father.

Elias Selwyn

This was all rather freeing. He hadn't quite decided what he was going to do, nor was he really trying to come to a conclusion as of there and then. Rather, he let his mind wander as he roamed the forest, trailing after the familiar scent of a certain grey and blue eyed wolf. It wasn't stalking, Elias was very much aware that Nin was a strong independent woman. She didn't need no man! But instincts were a hard thing to deny, she still smelled real good, and he just wanted her close.

Was that such a bad thing? It all very much depended on how she felt about it, he supposed. If she considered his actions to be annoying, demeaning, he would do his best to get out from underneath her paws. But until then he would continue to not stalk her.

As he trundled along he couldn't help but wonder where she was going, was she out looking for food? If so why hadn't she asked? It went without saying that Elias would have been more than happy to help. But then again...she had wandered off without saying anything, so maybe she wanted to stretch her feet or-

Elias smushed his lips together. Yeah, he was definitely over thinking this. Oh well. Maybe she wouldn't mind his company after all. Breaking out into an odd limpy trot, Elias hurried along, hoping to catch up sooner rather than later.

Ash Hervok

With the appearance of spring, he had lost track of Athena once again. The large brute held hope in his heart that it was simply the season that kept her away and that she would make her way back to him soon. Ash should know better by now though, and learn to guard his heart. He had not traveled around since he found out about the death of his sister, the reminder still weighing heavily on his mind. With his mate's disappearance, it only made his decision to remain in place all the more clear. The mossy green-eyed man had been lucky with receiving no visitors, but it seemed that his peace would not hold forever.

A scent drifted across the forest. Had it been anyone, he would have simply ignored it, but there was a strong sense of familiarity about it, mixed with something else that he couldn't ignore. His daughter. Eyes widened and head whipped around in the direction that her scent was coming from. He held the firm belief that everyone in his family had long left the Lore. But...why did she smell so...bad? The father's nose wrinkled in disgust as he took a hesitant few steps forward, eyes raking curiously over the forest before finally breaking into a trot. Letting out a deep dark to alert her of his presence, he increased his speed, ignorant of the other man that was following her.

I think I've finally seen the light..in you.
