Why she wasn't doing anything wrong, Remi still felt like she was breaking a rule by leaving the Edge. By the morning light she had literally hoped over the safe, invisible boundary, and took off into the near by forest. Some how finding a bit of the tension slipping from her shoulders, as she meandered a new path. One she was making instead following. So far she could only hear the high chirp of a few birds that darted around. Getting what forage they could find. Usually their voices would have bothered her, but today they were strangely soothing. But, they couldn't drown out the annoying sensation beneath her skin. She found herself rubbing her back against the rough bark of a tree in relief.
