She'd come further into Sacred Grove knowing there was a river there. She hoped to maybe find some sweet grass at its banks. She remembered what Ravenna had said but she didn't think it would be a bad idea to start collecting it. While she was there she stopped for a drink before settling herself on the banks of the river. It had been a long time since she'd been able to enjoy the sounds of the water sweeping past her. It made her think of Hearthwood, how much she missed it. It was a part of her just as her daughter and the pups growing inside of her.
She'd reached the river the previous night after running into the yearling earlier in the day. She'd stayed by it reluctant to leave the rushing water a small comfort when her worries we're so many. She'd ended up falling asleep under a tree not far from the water and when she woke it was to the sound of bird chirps above her. She didn't move right away but laid under that tree for a while longer after waking up. It wasn't until hunger reminded her that she needed to be in the move that she finally rose to her paws and began the task of searching something out.
