Flash flooding has caused local landslides. Open to 2 others.
had a one way ticket to the place where all the demons go

The weather had been... awful to say the least and Odin could only hope that @Lenae and @Piety were safe and warm in their dens back at the Tarn. That didn't change the fact he'd been sniffing out too many predators lately, far too close to their home. It didn't change the fact that while mountain climbing was no worry, hunting at height was dangerous, especially in the rain, but they needed food. It was probably counterintuitive to head towards the pass, but he didn't particularly want to head west right now. He still had to break the news to his mother... To be honest, he'd rather not come face to face with her just yet, especially not with water coursing down the side of the mountain, dislodging earth and snow alike.

At least the ground here was a little flatter than elsewhere, and wolves had once lived here for a reason, right? He strolled along, hoping to catch a whiff of something to drag home when the first small rocks began to skitter across his path. There was something... familiar about all of this and his head whipped towards the cliff as a wall of water and mud came surging in his direction. "Ah-fuck..." It was a low dark mutter as paws skittered to try and get him clear.

Bennet Kjorsdottir
Bennet had been moving steadily west since she’d reappeared in Relic Lore. She knew (vaguely) the pack that had taken in her injured uncle had been in that area – whether they still existed, and if they did, if Kjell was still there, was a giant question mark, but that was all the young dragon had to go on.

Failing that…

Well, she wasn’t sure what she would do. But she was staying positive! Positive energy, positive thoughts. Which…was considerably harder, given the awful weather recently. Snow had given way to rain, and it was making crossing the mountain considerably more difficult than Bennet had imagined it to be.

She did not see Odin, only the sudden roll of mud – it sent the loner skittering too, biting her tongue as she forced herself to be brave, not to help – and she went hurtling into the yearling instead, oofing softly as their bulk collided. “Look out!” she panted breathlessly, ears straining. “The mountain is coming apart!”
