Lot of bla bla bla, Im sorry. :D
Garmir had struggled to find route over the mountains during previous day, being forced to alter his course more than once and retrace his own steps to find suitable path. He had crossed the mountain range south from mountain of Dire, finding semi passable route through it. He doupted Triell might have crossed the same way, if at all. He had tried to seek body up along the way as far as he could predict @Triell 's route but so far he had not found anything that would have indicated death of his lord. If he had died, then he must have died somewhere else... or someone had buried him proper. Knowing that was the option he had been trying to establish contacts with locals and also chose to cross the mountains in order to find anyone or anything that could help him in his task.
While Garmir was primarily seeking for Triell, he was still interested in mapping the greater area of Relic Lore, adopting it as his secondary task. He had no hurry to return as of yet - @Treyah should not be expecting him for another two weeks. . He knew wildwood and western side of the mountains fairly well by now, but eastern parts were unknown to him.
Having finally done the crossing, Garmir eventually found himself in what was known as an Spectral Woods. The forest had little different spirit to wildwood, but he found it generarly pleasant and calming, allowing the lone scout for first time take it easy after long and enduring crossing. Not knowing the area, the earthen male chose to follow the water bodies, such as creeks and rivers that he could use as an landmarks for later.
First sign of trouble showed up roughly midway to his journey into the woods, Garmir not counting on coyote threat to be a thing this far away from home. This was bit of a shock and cause for concern, coyotes apparantly having infested larger areas of Relic lore than what he had originally thought. They gave the earthen male a chase, making Garmir to abandon his original route of following one particular river and instead forcing him to take shelter from deeper parts of the Specral Woods. This did not discourage him, even if it presented significant obstacle. He thought about seeking help, remembering that Tainns supposedly had friends east of the mountains - only he did not know where to look.
The day was already turning into evening when Garmir came across another water body, choosing to follow it. This was the cold water creek south west from Oak Tree Bend and Garmir's first clue of foreign pack in these lands. He found old, very faint scent trail and begin to follow it, reaching the very borders of what was the Oak Tree Bend just before the sunset. By the time Garmir arrhived, he was already exhausted. He only hoped, almost begged the spirits that these wolves were friendly enough. He'd rather not be chased by his own kind after already being chased by coyotes.
He settled down, almost slumping and after taking a moment to catch his breath - raised his muzzle to make a short but clear howl, calling for whomever owned this piece of land. He wasn't very representitive, but he was too exhausted to care at this point, having ran and kept fast pace throughout the day.
