Tiny paws crept forward through the trees in slow pursuit of her unsuspecting target. The child was managing to keep herself from making a sudden noise, and just so happened to be downwind. Something she didn't understand yet. The animal ahead meander about munching on grass. Never in her wildest dreams could she have imagined getting so close to a living rabbit. She was a real hunter! Like the grown-ups! Euna halted, wiggling her butt in the air, and sunk her front end ready to pounce. It was then that she let out an excited squeal. She sprung forward to land on nothing, her startled prey already taken off from its spot. The pup scrambled to chase after it with a giggle.
Euna was certain she was going to get her first kill today. There was no room for doubt in her mind even as she fought to keep the rabbit in eyesight. It was much faster than her growing limbs could hope to carry her. To her great disappointment, it disappeared down a dark tunnel. She slowed, curiously smelling the entrance. Did bunnies have dens too? "Where go?" She questioned out loud as if a response would meet her little ears.
The girl started to dig at the dirt half-heartedly. She was losing interest the more work that had to be put into being a hunter. Maybe this was better left for the grown-ups, they liked boring stuff anyhow. Yet she remained persistent with an apathetic mannerism.
