Weldering Darksidy
The black socked paws of the large male were beginning to tire. he was feeling the strain after his long journey back to Relic lore and to make it worse he had decided to climb the side of the Dire Mountain. His pace was slow but he pressed forward with each step attempting to find the mouth of a cavern that he had discovered last year with an old friend. Tainnsidy, it was an odd name composed of two surnames mashed together. It was the only way to please the two wolves that had found the cave system and had both wanted to name it after themselves. A sigh fell from his onyx stained lips as he decided to finally take a break.

Reclining back onto his haunches on a small rocky plateau there were great views of Relic Lore ahead of him. His black tipped tail curling nicely around his side and over his paws. Directly below he could see the Midnight Plateau, unsure of how things were going there he could not help but wonder if Alexander was still the Alpha. Then further ahead in the distance he could also make out the Sacred Grove, his muzzle wrinkling up briefly but soon softened as he thought about his old friends who were now missing.

Adonia Valde
Adonia panted heavily as she climbed the side of the mountain, travelling the way from the base. Although it was extremely cold high up in the mountains, she had decided that it was her best bet to get up to the top and rest until she made a decision on where to go elsewhere. Ears against the back of her head, she struggled to climb upon rock after rock and ledge after ledge of the steep mountain.
If only there were an easier way to get up here!" Adonia thought to herself. As she advanced up the tall structure, she noticed a small entrance carved into the rock. Hoping that it was just good fortune and nothing bad would happen, she decided to venture into the mouth of the cave to rest until she was ready to continue her journey. Now shivering slightly, she reached the ledge of the entrance and heaved herself into it, almost collapsing against the stone floor. Flicking her eyes upward, she noticed with embarrassment that there was another wolf in the cave, one with a dark pelt and unusual blue eyes.
"Oh... ummm.. sorry. I didn't know anyone was in here." she said timidly, cursing herself for being weak just at the time of a possible fight. "I'll just.. be going now, then. I apologize for disturbing you, as I know it is every wolf for themselves.." Adonia started to slowly walk backwards, making sure not to turn her back on the other wolf in case he decided to attack.

Weldering Darksidy
Weldering was frequently wishing for an easier route to miraculously appear to get him up to the caves he was looking for near the top of the Dire Mountain. Sadly there was not. Puffing as his breath was short finding the air a little thinner up in the clouds of the mountain side. The young black masked male would have probably just sat there for several minutes catching his breath and simply just looking around, but the scent of another wolf caught his attention. Soon a quietly spoken voice was heard as a she-wolf poked her nose into the entrance.

It did not take Weldering more then a few seconds to realise the scent she carried had the familiar Midnight Plateau scent to it, she was a pack member. Not only that but even the sound of her nervously spoken voice was familiar to his black ears. Calmly he shuffled forward with a few steps putting him into the daylight so that she could see him completely. "Adonia? Adonia what do you mean every wolf for themselves? We're pack mates." he smirked lightly, his muzzle lowering into a soft nod to show that he certainly meant no harm.

"Ah yes." Adonia smiled, relieved to see the familiar pack-mate in front of her. "It's great to see you again, Welde! What brings you all the way up here?" The female wolf slowly walked into the cave and sat down, clearly relaxed in front of her pack mate. She rested her tired paws and with a heavy yawn, she curled her tail over her front legs and looked around the cave, investigating everything among the stalactites and stalagmites that littered the floor and ceiling. There wasn't much moving space, maybe for a couple wolves at most, but the cave could be considered.. homey. Deciding to remember this place when there were times of trouble, she made a mental note and continued looking around the cave, ears still perked for Welde's response.

Weldering Darksidy
It had taken a few moments for Adonia to recognize him, but at least she did. It would not have been so great if she had not been able to remember him at all from the meeting, having said that he had kept rather quiet most of the time. Keeping quiet was not really his normal attitude either, normally it was hard to get him to stop talking. "It's good to see you too." he greeted back to the she-wolf with the smallest flicker of a grin etched into his dark features. So what brought him up to the caves? He tilted his muzzle off to one side with a light hum.

"Well... last summer I found this cave when exploring with a friend." He explained, instantly thinking about Junai and wondering what she was up too, whether she was still in Swift River and if she was safe. Despite his idle pondering he continued."We named this cave Tainnsidy... named after us both." Smirking a little bit with pride waiting for some kind of reaction. His bright icy blue eyes watching as she got herself comfortable by sitting opposite to him inside the cave. Sitting himself back also he too took upon a more comfortable position so they could chat.

Ears piqued with interest, Adonia listened quietly to Welde's story. "That's a very fitting name for a cave, I like it." she said, smiling in amusement at the grin still etched on Welde's face. He seemed to be very proud of the cave, and that was no bad thing, since it was pretty amazing to find it all the way up here without being missed. "Is your friend still around?" The she-wolf asked, interested. All she knew about the dark wolf in front of her is that he had left the territory and then returned, not knowing Alexander had remained. She herself knew little about the past of the territory, or why he would leave such a lovely place, so she decided to ask the wolf, hoping it would not offend him.

"Also, would you mind telling me the story of the past of the pack and territory? I know next to nothing about it, since I only recently arrived. I hope you're a good story teller!" Her eyes glinted once more in amusement as she waited quietly for his reply, humming a soft tune to herself as she anticipated what he would say next.

he was pleased that she liked the name of the cave, it was comprised of part of his own and Junai's surname. Although the name Tainn made him cringe on most occasions it was not so bad when he thought of the members of that family he enjoyed the company of, Borlla, Junai and Ioni. The rest of them could go to hell for all he cared. Curling his fluffy and well groomed tail around his side neatly so it covered his black stained forepaws he grinned mildly to the she-wolf. He really did enjoy her company, he'd spent most of his life as a lone wolf after all and that had not been down to choice.

"I'm not sure..." He muttered in response to knowing where she was. It was something he had been attempting to find out but was hesitant about visiting Swift River due to his previous fight with Indru and Ruiko. As for the story about Relic Lore, that he could tell. Weldering scooted closer now sitting just to the side of Adonia. "I've been here since last Summer, but this is what I know." He explained as he settled ready to tell the tale. "I arrived in Relic Lore and the first thing I noticed was the smell of burning. There had been a horrific forest fire in the Wildwood. Luckily most of the pack that lived there at Hidden Tree escaped. But their leaders were both killed. What was left of the family founded a new pack at Swift River. One wolf in that family split and founded Midnight Plateau.. that was Honijo who you might have heard being mentioned at the meeting. Well as Autumn came around the water mysteriously disappeared and wolves started to go missing, some left. In the end I also left. I spend a lot of time fishing for food, besides the deer and other animals left when the water did. It meant the vale could only support a small number of wolves. Well the water then came back not so long ago and it looks like everything has returned to normal." He smirked, finishing his tale. Turning to glance towards her with his twilight blue eyes. "So how about you? What's your story?"

Adonia turned her head to side and closed her eyes, now in an uncomfortable position. She disliked it when others asked of her past, but Welde seemed so... nice? Could she drop the barrier just this once, or should she keep it up? Adonia didn't want to drive him away, but she also wasn't sure whether it was finally time to reveal the truth. Emotions mixed together, Adonia felt extremely confused. Welde had said his part of the story, so wouldn't it be only fair to give hers? She didn't necessarily have to give ALL of it, as she was sure Welde wasn't either, but the she-wolf could certainly give a part. At least, the beginning. It wasn't necessarily lying, was it? She didn't think so.
"I'm not sure where to begin," she admitted, now opening her eyes and turning to him, noticing now that he had moved his position to next to her. She turned her golden eyes directly into his blue ones, before turning and looking away and to the cave wall opposite of them. "However, I suppose the real beginning is the one to begin at?" Shuffling her paws, she took a deep breath before continuing, her heart pounding. She had no idea what to say! "I was born a long ways away from here and grew up normally. The litter my parents had last year only consisted of me, the rest were still-born." The female wolf bowed her head and now looked at her paws, upset at the memory. If she had the brothers and sisters still alive, things probably wouldn't have happened the way they did. If only, if only... But then again, she wouldn't be here with this pack if things had worked out that way, and she wouldn't be making friends and discovering new things. She certainly would not have gone to this territory even if she had dispersed, through. That much was certain. "Through an... interesting chain of events... I was... "discharged" from the pack, as you might say. I was chased.." she winced at the term and then continued, "off with false accusations. Now as a loner, I was trying to decide where to spend my time. I was 1 1/2 when I left, so I'd been traveling around for about half a year. My uncle, before he dispersed, had once told me about the wilds "up north" as he called them, so I decided it was the best bet. I ventured and came here, and decided this was the right place for me. At least for now." Adonia smiled and looked back up to him, now her voice slightly softer. The rest, you could say, is history. I know I'm not a very good story teller, so you're going to have to live with a bore like me." The she-wolf gave a short laugh, eyes twinkling in amusement.

Weldering Darksidy
Even Weldering had not shared the tale of his entire past. He had even chose not to include his rocky relationship with the Swift River pack that shared Relic lore with Midnight Plateau. It was simply the facts about the territory they lived in just as she had requested. However he was grateful that she seemed to trust him enough to share her story with him. Weldering grinned slightly as she tried to find her place to start. "Begin at the beginning? That sounds like a plan." He teased in response to her suggestion. His fluffy black and silver tail swaying lightly near his paws as he sat upright.

As she begun her story of her past it surprised him how many similarities they seemed to have. Both of them knew what it was like to be chased from a pack. It was a memory that caused his ears to flatten and his muzzle to hang lower. Though as she finished with a brief laugh it lifted his spirits, mirroring her smile with one of his own. "No no, it was fine." He reassured with a light murr. "I guess you could say we have a lot in common. I've spent most of my life traveling also. I was born as a Lone Wolf but I don't really remember my parents, we were separated. It was not until I was a year old that I joined my first pack where I was eventually exiled unfairly." Telling a little more to his own tale hoping that it might help.

Adonia, ignoring the slight tease in Welde's voice, continued to listen to his story. He seemed to be more willing to tell more of his story now that it was realized that there was much in common between them. "Well, it would be selfish of me to say that I'm glad there is someone that has things in common with me, for I would not want anyone to go through what I did." The she-wolf shrugged, "Although it is nice that someone actually partly knows what I went through." Her thoughts returned to Borden from earlier in the day, as well as her experience with the wolf Vlarindara. The male second seemed to not know at all how she felt when Vlar had snarled at her, and for that she tred carefully when near him from now on.
The female wolf's thoughts returned to the wolf in front of her and her situation. She hesitated for a moment before continuing. "...Although I do not know if I will fit in here. Everything seems so orderly.. and that certainly is not me." Staring down at her paws now, the white wolf felt slightly embarrassed. Why had she just shared that with him?
