She stopped to rest on a ledge that she'd dared to climb out to, and her toes curled around the edge as she leaned out, a breeze ruffling her neck fur, and making her tail wag. She didn't feel so little up here, no adults to boss her around and hold her paw. It felt great. A smile spread across her face, and she sat back, scooting to the rear of her perch, and set her honey hued eyes out towards the color-changing sky. <b style="color:#32527a">"speech."
Tola had headed east toward the mountains, mostly because it reminded her of home. Having grown up on the slopes had allowed the Fe'hlien girl to become quite accustomed to the steep sides that accompanied mountain landscapes. She began from the westernmost point and continued eastward up the mountain. She had heard from a passerby that the name of it was "Mountain of Dire," although that didn't mean a whole lot to the yearling.
She spotted a ledge not too far off, and began heading for it, hoping to catch a glance of the lands where she had only recently arrived. When she hopped up the last few feet and finally found sturdy footing on the ledge, however, she found that she wasn't the only one to be looking for a good view. "Sorry for intruding, I didn't know there was anybody up here," she said amiably, "Are you from around here?" Tola was currently seeking information about the area, so perhaps her newfound acquaintance could give her a hand.
Borlla nearly jumped, letting out a small screech as another wolf landed beside her. Thankfully she was lying down, or else she could have tumbled right down the mountain. The wolf apologize quickly, and Borlla looked over at her, not bothering to get up. She didn't say anything either, merely shrugged as if it was no big deal. But she couldn't avoid not speaking forever, especially when asked a question. She sighed, albeit a bit dramatically, and shrugged again, <b style="color:#32527a">"I live in that forest down here." Her honey eyes drifted towards Sacred Grove. <b style="color:#32527a">"Are you?" Borlla tossed the question right back at the girl. <b style="color:#32527a">"speech."
Tola's eyes followed those of the younger wolf, watching to see where she was looking. It seemed vague enough, but that didn't bother the young girl. "Nope, I just got here a few days ago," she replied promptly to the question. She still wasn't entirely certain whether or not she would decide to stay here or not, but there was always the off chance that she would fall in love with the place and be unable to make herself leave.
"Do you like living in this area?" she asked. Obviously she was still here, so she didn't loathe it, but perhaps there were certain things about it that she just didn't like or wished she could change. Then again, the female before her didn't really look full-grown (she looked a bit on the gangly side), so perhaps asking her wasn't the best idea in the world. Tola could only imagine what she would have said just a few months ago.
<b style="color:#32527a">"It's fine, I guess. I mean, I was born here, so I'm kind of entitled to say that. But there's a little bit of everything." All of the sudden, Borlla felt like she had to sell this place to the girl. Almost as if she was recruiting someone. As if she could get a friend out of this, though, at the moment, she'd hardly been friendly to this stranger. <b style="color:#32527a">"speech."
