Pasos al Cielo Inside the line

Pasos al Cielo was just as beautiful-if not more so- then Askan remembered. Of course he didn't remember it's given name, and as far as he was concerned it's name was Pissy Alecio. Or something along those lines anyway. That wasn't to say it was exactly as it had been before. It'd been winter when he'd been there last, so the lack of snow made a big impact. But it was more than just that, he was pretty sure there hadn't been this many slopes, or at the very least they weren't so muddy and crumbled. Like the earth had just sort of slid? So what was it called? Earthslide? Nah, that didn't sound right. Mudslide? Maybe. Either that or landslide, they both sounded reasonable to the Selwyn.

No matter what it was called, Askan was glad it still looked like the place he'd come to...appreciate, he guessed. In such a short period of time so much had changed and this place played a major part in it all. It was almost funny really, how a set of hills could be so significant.

Following the path, Askan scaled the hills and traversed the land till he found the little shelter he'd been looking for. Just as he'd hoped it still remained intact and just as he'd remembered. It was a tiny thing, they'd barely been able to squeeze in the two of them but after a fair amount of shuffling and grunting they'd managed. It was almost as though he and @Reyes could do anything together if they put their mind to it.

Askan huffed as he bowed down into a stretch. It'd been quite the trek for a it of reminiscing, but perhaps Reyes had been right all along. Staying cooped up in the den was doing him no good, at the very least he would try and get out every other day. In between his guard duties...Which he still needed to get back on top of. A prospect that would have once put a spring in his step but now? Well, he couldn't say he felt all that enthusiastic.
