For @Anastasia
He walked without word, eyes taking in the marvelous sight of randomly formed snow rollers littered along the ground. He felt the occasional gust of wind blow past him with so much force it felt that he was losing hair in some spots, but he was much too bulky to move and thick pads sunk easily into the moist snow with each placed paw. The soft crunch of his feet through snow was the only sound made as he continued on with the commute to one of his more frequented spots as of recent--Turtleback Lake. He had no intention to stay long, an hour or two away from his son was enough of a break until he felt it was time to return to the youth so he didn't waste time in getting himself settled onto his haunches in a sit, attempting to relax was the only thought on his mind. He didn't care if another wolf was nearby, or that a pack was not that far off, he only cared to find happiness in the silence and beauty of the melting lake.
