She caught the scent while walking along the lake – the path she’d once taken (and quite often, might she add) to rid herself of worries, being blocked by the strong scent of another pack that caused her fur to bristle, a burr being buried deep in her pelt as her eyes narrowed. She already wasn’t a fan of wolves who were bold enough to settle so close to that of another, in the Surge’s own hunting grounds… it was something she’d be bringing up to Lachesis right away, but for now, it caused her to turn back, walking away and back towards her own lands.
Her husband had taken the kids for a while to give her the opportunity to get out, which was sorely needed with the amount of time she’d spent recuperating in the den… they were handfuls, mainly Leith and Makvala. Her gait was strong and confident – if there was one thing she knew, it was that she never went down easy. Already, she was starting to get ahead of herself. First, she'd need to talk to Lachesis, and perhaps try to get some information about just who they were.
