Marian cracked out a yawn as she laid there, all splayed out atop the snowy outcrop. Her bright gaze lingered on the frozen Edge with a pointed level of disinterest and she sighed, wondering why she'd let Treva talk her into this. Now Marian was no stranger to mischief and getting on her cankerous bear of Father's nerves was like...the best thing ever but reality rarely lived up to her expectations. The stories her parents told her made this place sound like some sort of paradise on earth, a home for wolves who didn't fit in anywhere else, but aside from the frozen over lake there was nothing else of note. But surely there was more to it than that. Knowing her dad as well as she did, no doubt he'd poured his heart and soul into this place, it had been seasons in the making and this was all his efforts had amounted to. Just empty silence and a home long since abandoned.
No wonder he didn't like to talk about this place. Yeesh.
Getting to her paws, Marian shook the snow out of her coat. By now their absence must have been noticed and Marian sniggered at the thought of the ensuing chaos, all paws on deck looking for their two darling princesses. Speaking of, where had her bitch-and Marian meant that as a term of endearment- of a sister gotten to?
