Danica was having a less than clear day. Her mind was shuffling more than usual, searching through old memories. It would get stuck in different nooks and crannies. It left the aging woman on the baffled side. Sometimes she'd question who she was only to quickly remember. Time was a more confusing concept than identity. She would shift through the years and have to force herself back. It wasn't easy, and being back in the Woodlands tugged at tales of her history.
Her daughter, although she kept forgetting Nia was of existence, was out busy. Danica had been left to her own devices per usual. Despite her ailing state she wasn't coddled or controlled. Most days weren't this bad, anyways. Perhaps it was the crows fault. Ever since the wolf awakened it'd been following her. The closer it got the more paranoid she became.
Eventually it had drove her outside of secret woodland boarders. So far she was on the outskirts of the thickets themselves. "O-o-oh!" She cried out in her wispy voice as the bird dove down at her head. "Leave me be!" Dani shouted while it circled overhead. She trotted away from it only to be followed. So, she turned around. Again the the crow followed her. It made another low swoop, ruffling her fur.
