Fallen Tree Cove Quite the pickle

The young Slayer hadn't missed the whispers about the water. The warmer weather had also made it very hard for Kateri to stay put. Her leg seemed to be getting better. She was able to put some weight on it and while she wouldn't be chasing rabbits any time soon she was getting around better.

That was why she'd made the executive decision on her own to go look for water. The adults were very worried about the situation and with her mother and Oksana expecting pups she knew ot was crucial they had plenty of water.

She came to the border where memories of what had happened to her flooded her mind. She hadn't been this close to it since she'd gotten lost. Still her family and pack needed her. Without any hesitation she crossed and headed out into the forest of the mountain. She hadn't gotten far when she spotted it.

At first she didn't know what it was but when she got closer she saw it was a baby deer. It was stuck quite firmly between two saplings. She came closer to really investigate the situation.
