It had not escaped the Ridge leader how dry the willows had become. Any small pockets of water were gone. The creek where she liked to spend her time was all but dried up. She'd never seen the creek down to a dried up ravine running through the territory. It had always been so beautiful. Now it brought worry to the young woman.
The pack was still so new and she was expecting puppies in a short time. The pack would need water especially since she had not found any in pack lands or outside of it. Avella knew she needed a plan to ensure her wolves didn't go thirsty.
Her first thought was the lagoon but she also knew the distance between there and the willows. They needed a way to keep the water in the territory until the drought passed. Making her way through the trees she was in search of something that could hold the water and checking for any other supplies of water that may still be there.
