Weldering Darksidy
The greater the altitude he climbed the stronger the wind was growing as it whipped up the lengthy silver strands of his magnificent pelt. It was a relief to feel such strong winds, the hotter summer months were usually met with sweltering heat that caused him no end of irritation. Having parts of your coat which were long all year round was one hindrance that he could do without. Yet up here amongst the soft white clouds making his way up a narrow rocky path with a slow typical stride for him Weldering was comfortable and actually cool for once.

He was a little way above the foothills and now but nowhere near the top of the mountain itself, there was not a single sign of any snow covering the ground like he may have expected to find up at the summit. But what he did come across was a small plateau as he discovered the riddle heights, not so large it width but the path had led him to this little viewing platform where Weldering could now finally take a proper look at Relic Lore from a suitable height. From up here he could see the Cedarwood Forest off in the distance while much closer was the Sacred Grove with the foothills directly beneath him.

Lyra Murdor Acghon

Lyra was not usually clumsy, but she was not perfect as of yet. She had slipped a few ways back, the sound of the slip echoing through the warm airs that lingered at the base of the mountain. The length of the descent was smaller than it could have been, as she had been able to have her paws reunite with the earth once more. A bruise on the left side of her face along with a wound on the tip of her should was what she took from it.
She recuperated quickly. The small cuts were licked clean and no blood could be seen upon her. There was one blemish still that she could feel lingering, but she could not fix it. There was a raw piece of missing fur upon the left side of her face, but no matter. She would not allow it to be taken against her.

Paws were thankful to reach the lower parts of the mountain lands, and eyes were pleased to receive a beneficial view to their hard word. A lovely land to explore and reap the benefits of. Opportunity was rife here.
“Some feel small when they see how big the world is…” Eyes stared at the view before them though her body moved closer to the stranger nearby. Her voice was pondering and light, heard either as eerie or insightful. “I however feel large. All this is available to me. I guess you could sum my feelings in three words: Veni, Vidi, Vici.” These words were accented and spoken in it’s old pronounciation with the V’s sound like W’s. The tone suddenly sounded sophisticated and education, but she turned to Weldering and smiled. Her voice now friendly and sociable. “My name is Lyra, may I know your name?”

Weldering Darksidy
As Lyra begun to move swiftly over to his side her enlightening words full of wisdom and grace were not what he expected to hear from someone so young, she could not have been any older then he was yet there she was speaking highly with goals and ambitions that caused him to hum softly to himself. His bright sea blue gaze only briefly drifted over the young she-wolf inspecting her quietly to himself where he did however caught sight of her marks. There was no blood marking her fur yet small marks no matter how barely noticeable they were. Though for now he kept the fact that he had spotted them to himself.

"Weldering Darksidy." He first begun answering her question as he gave a name in return for her own. Lyra... it was a pretty name he had to admit and suited her also. Though now as his hawk-like gaze lingered back to the treetops of the Wildwood ahead of them he thoughtfully wondered about her words. "You seem to wield some large ambitions, if by you mean available you hope to own a piece of the land below?"

Lyra Murdor Acghon
A name to face who would hopefully prove useful in the future, but she was not one to put all her money in one thing. He was calm so far, normal. His eyes were interested in her but neither obsessive nor paranoid. His ease was due to both no threat being perceived and no desire to rid himself of her presence. A simple man on first appearances.
The wind blew a soft and fragrant breeze along the mountainside, bringing with it continued relief from the heat and scents from the lands below. The youth giggled as the wind toyed with her summer pelt and flicking the scents of far off areas into the airs. Weldering had asked of her intentions curiously and quietly. What did she mean by her words? Did she wish to become Alpha? Of course, but she understood that it was a long and calculated process. People underestimated how hard it was to build a pack from scratch and how easy it was to simply scale someone else’s hard work and knock them off the top.

What pup does not dream of leading their own pack?” Her laugh had been short and she spoke right when it was fading. Of course other wolves had their reasons for desiring to be Alpha. Some simply did not have the required patience to wait for the opportune moment, for living under the rule of another was the reason they wanted to be free from it – and have it themselves. Others did not have the required discipline to order and maintain a pack of underlings, for they had dreams of family and equality. Their pack was their haven for all. "But unlike my agemates, I know my ambitions should not get ahead of myself. It will be some time before I have a land and wolves to call my own. Until then, I can pave the way easily by getting acquainted.” Lyra sat down and surveyed the waters that led from an area of the mountains. It would be very beneficial to map out a nice path to explore these lands. And here was the perfect spot.
And this place provides quite the vantage point. My lucky day to enter these lands on the mountainside, hmm?” Eyes looked over to Weldering with her head slightly tilted while inquiring. Ironic that she mentioned it was her lucky day when she had managed to lose her footing on the rocks. Especially as the raw bruise took the opportunity to stand out in the daylight. She could have lost much more.

Pup, the word caused his ears to lift and as expected she had not reached the age of two just yet making her a year younger then himself. Though forming a pack took time and a lot of hard work, if she was that intent of forming a group she would be fully matured by this coming winter, as in would be able to bare pups as an Alphess by the next spring. The following spring was so far away but he could not stop thinking about how he would be three years old already, how winter was fast approaching and once again he was packless right now. Though as he had told another lone wolf by the name of Marsh he had plans to try and band together with other loners during the autumn, the beginning of a new pack, his pack? Who knew. He only had ideas at this stage, Weldering was still a newcomer to these lands and no where near ready to become a gerent of Relic Lore.

"You won't have to wait that long, if that is what you really want." He replied using his normal calm tone of voice. Settled still upon his hind quarters though his muzzle was turned back to face her. "You'll be two next Spring, right?" He asked just to check if his assumptions were correct. "I was thinking about trying to start my own pack, not now. But at least before the winter hopefully. I don't intend on remaining a lone wolf but I am not a fan of the Tainn family which have control of the only two packs around here." he explained, he knew Honijo was not by surname an actual Tainn but he was their uncle and a blood relative. It was the same difference.

At the mention of the heights being a good vantage point he nodded in agreement. "Yes there is a good view from up here. I arrived nearly two weeks ago now from over there." Lifting up his right black mitt to point towards the large fir trees off in the distance. "Cedarwood Forest."

Lyra listened to the male’s words. He was calm and had much information to give. “Late winter. she corrected when he guessed her age. He was close enough, but precision was never a bad thing. Weldering went on to speak of the desire to start his own pack eventually. It would sound that Weldering simply wanted to create his own pack so he would not be a loner. But that he also did not want to be under the rule of those among the Tainn family. Such a mindset like that would not get him far as alpha. Or at least that’s what Lyra believed.

Care to tell why you dislike the packs here? Or is it that you simply shy away from another man’s dynasty. To me, that sounds like the perfect place to start.” She slunk past him and moved over to better view some far off lands. Ah, the normal folk were so clueless. Thinks were never so hard as to take the hard way.
He had been quite busy exploring in his loner days. He said he had come from the Cedarwoods. Eyes looked to peer in the direction of such a place and she began to pry him for details. “Hmm… is it just wilderness there? Any places of interest?

Weldering Darksidy
The young silver and black male quirked a brow, precision might have been nice but her birthday was irrelevant, he just wanted to know which year she had been born in and the answer was in the year below his own age, the same as his friend Junai. Though as conversation moved on he found that he seemed to be repeating himself to the girl. 'Care to tell why you dislike the packs here?' "I told you, I don't get along with the Tainn family." Finishing with a sigh as he tried to gather his patience. Weldering was usually a very tolerant wolf but today for some reason he seemed to be in a slightly bad mood for unknown reasons.

'Or is it that you simply shy away from another man’s dynasty. To me, that sounds like the perfect place to start.' What was she talking about? Weldering did not even understand her or knew why she was speaking so philosophically for such a young wolf. "I don't care about Indru's dynasty or his uncles. I see it as a place to start either." He announced. "I've survived most of my life as a lone wolf so joining a pack right now is not a priority. I want to know I'm making the right choice." His twilight blue gaze now moving towards the galore of trees spread across the far end of the valley, the Cedarwood Forest. "The river runs through it and there are a few streams that branch off, some rocks..." Trailing off as he thought about what else was there but coming to no conclusion. "Not much." He finally replied with a soft shrug of his shoulders. "So what's someone so young as yourself doing wandering around Relic Lore alone?" He was curious now to hear her story.
