Weldering Darksidy
I know it's a big table but it's in memory of Welde's crush <3

All that talk about him being with Junai, it was a ridiculous notion. As he stomped though the fields covered in soggy morning dew already his coat of black and silver was absolutely saturated. The summer months had been nothing but heat galore but this morning he had an uncomfortable chill. He was in a painfully soar mood after much deliberation about Indru's reaction towards him and Junai and even when Weldering had said his heart was for someone else and he did not have eyes for the sister of the Swift River Alpha it was almost as though Indru did not either care or believe him as he was just as skeptical. It perhaps did not help being in such an awkward location, standing in the ashes of the grave of the Tainn grave but that did not change anything he said, he was still speaking the truth.

He could feel his legs wobbling slightly, a sneer forming over his handsome muzzle as finally he stopped effortlessly flopping down into the wet grass almost as if he had given up. His forepaws delving over the top of his face as he buried his head into the lengthy wet coat of his chest. "Lore.. I'm so sorry. I said I'd protect you..." He whimpered, gradually his body beginning to curl up into a ball.

Indru Tainn
Backdated to before Indru went missing, please! :D

Today did not have the normal heat of recent days, Indru could feel the slight bite of a chill wind through his fur. It was a relief though, more than an hindrance, even with his thinner summer coat the colder temperature was a nice change. The Tainn gave his fur a shake, the dew of the morning that had coated his fur flying off in all directions, before increasing his casual walk to a quicker pace, letting blood circle around his body and wake up his muscles. On the fresh morning it did not take long for a familiar scent to drift towards him and he recognised it as that of Weldering, a wolf he had a somewhat tempestuous relationship with. Not wanting to be diverted by the loner or to play the childish game of avoidance he continued towards him, approaching slowly when he could see him lying on the ground looking somewhat distracted.

You okay there, Weldering? Indru called out, wondering briefly if he was injured before he realised there had been no scent of blood. Ill perhaps? Whatever it was he decided not to approach to closely as not only was Weldering not keen on him he may not be of clear thought.

Weldering Darksidy
The ball he was coiled into was a comforting feeling. His fluffy and well groomed tail brought right around and folding tightly against his side. He could feel his heart sinking as every second passed and all he could think about was her. He had cared for Lore Dauster so much and declared that he would protect her - which he did do on more then one occasion. But now they had been separated and the chances of ever finding one another again were virtually impossible. She was lost but still even after several months he was struggling to get over his loss.

A soft voice was heard over his thoughts, a familiar sound ringing out as he reconised the vocals and the scent. Having Indru see him in this moment of weakness caused him to grow agitated, angry in fact as his muzzle wrinkled back into a sneer baring his sharp fangs as he uncoiled rapidly almost in a snake like movement. he was crouched against the ground body twisted to face the Swift River Alpha. <b style="color:#0d5b8c; font-family:geogia; font-size:13px">"Why do you care Indru!" Weldering sneered through his gritted teeth. <b style="color:#0d5b8c; font-family:geogia; font-size:13px">"It's not like you've ever really cared for someone like I have."

Indru Tainn

Fiery eyes just watched the younger male as he snarled and spat insults from the ground, Indru was much beyond being wound up and stung by angry words from a wolf he had no feeling for if that was Weldering intent. He let the silence hang when the black male had stopped speaking, his head titling on the side as he watched him with slight disdain, perhaps he was less mature than Indru first felt. You are not long an adult boy, Indru began, aware the wolf before him not long passed full maturity, what do you know about caring for someone? The Tainn presumed that Weldering was chucking out silly accusations in hopes of riling him, how did he know anything of him? They had barely met on more than a few occasions, none of which left him in a sharing and caring mood. You know nothing of me, so watch where you fling those accusations. Only slightly did he bristle his fur, the tips of his teeth poking through his lips to show that it was not an empty threat he posed.

Are you still so young that you believe the world revolves around yourself? His tone was harsh but it was not angry, just stern, not so different from one that his father had used on himself. Why should Indru care about this youth who had stumbled across his family and pack? I have no reason to care. Yet he still had the decency to show it and be polite unlike the wolf in front of him. With a sigh Indru flicked his tail idly, still keeping a cautious eye on the wolf, perhaps his first suspicious were right, maybe he wasn't of able mind. Loss stings, Weldering. It's supposed to hurt. The Tainn spoke from experience, his parent's loss still raw, now coupled with his the loss of his missing brother, the unknowing of if Hotei was dead or alive.

Mature? Him? No Weldering was not often that mature, he'd missed out on his puphood and with no family to guide him he had never really grown up. the only difference was that these days he could usual control his emotions and any immaturity tended to be playful kinds. This however was a darker more violent side to the male, the side in which the war he'd been part of against Dehvor had left mental scars in his mind. Right now he could not see any difference between Indru and the enemy he once fought for no reason at all, it was a puff of madness.

<b style="color:#0d5b8c; font-family:geogia; font-size:13px">"Boy? BOY!" He sneered, the throat sound curdling into a growl. He'd taken that subtle insult from Indru several times but now it was just plain getting on his nerves. <b style="color:#0d5b8c; font-family:geogia; font-size:13px">"In your extra year of life what has given you the right to go around calling me boy!" His blue eyes was narrowed into two thin slits and slowly his body was beginning to rise. The swift breeze rippling through his lush and thick silver pelt and tail aggressively beginning to level out behind him. <b style="color:#0d5b8c; font-family:geogia; font-size:13px">"What do I know about caring?!" he retorted almost shocked and still just as outraged by the comment. How dare Indru, how very dare him. <b style="color:#0d5b8c; font-family:geogia; font-size:13px">"I loved someone, we should have been mates. By now I'd have pups, they'd be the age of Borlla. They'd be playmates for my daughter who I've also lost." His fur now beginning to bristle.

<b style="color:#0d5b8c; font-family:geogia; font-size:13px">"You lost your parents huh? I guess that hurts a little. I lost everything. My parents, my sister, my pack, my homelands my mate and my daughter. Even my friends. Maybe the world does not revolve around me but something is following me." He growled again, tail twitching with aggravation. He was not even sure if Indru would understand and certain did not believe this wolf could ever care. <b style="color:#0d5b8c; font-family:geogia; font-size:13px">"So what makes you think everything revolves around you?" Flinging Indru's own words back at him. <b style="color:#0d5b8c; font-family:geogia; font-size:13px">"Because you're an Alpha you are going to treat everyone else so differently? Or have you always been a jerk?"

Indru Tainn

Right now it seems my extra year seems quite important. Indru scoffed lightly, watching the adult before him have outbursts like a puppy, the male in front of him was angry and wanted something to rage against and Indru remained stoic and calm, determined not to give it to him. At the mention of puppies Indru barely contained an eye roll, young wolves and their eagerness to have pups before they were ready. Was he not in a pack? Did he not respect his leader's to continue to give the pack strong pups and futures? That must of been hard, he conceded, though could not be bothered to remind him it was not only his parent's he had lost. It was his brother, now missing, his uncle, his way of life, his home and also his lack of responsibility and carefree lifestyle. Though he had no desire to cry his life to this stranger like Weldering felt the need to, playing who had lost the most in their life.

Even Indru, as restrained as he was trying to be, could not stop a slightly mocking smile creep onto his muzzle at the boy's next words. Ah, I am very aware the world does not revolve around me. Since a puppy this was clear and he was glad it had been mad so if it had meant it stopped him wanting to bleat his problems to every wolf like a lamb like the black male believing everyone would care. I treat everyone with as much respect as they deserve. He replied, and he knew it was fair comment, Indru was a wolf with a high intelligence that he would not hold exaggerated grudges for prolonged period's of time over small matters. At the moment your not acting like you deserve very much. Growling and snarling at him over a simple and polite inquiry over his well being, well maybe next time Indru would live him on the ground to rot.

Weldering Darksidy
Ah the arrogant bastard, of course he would say that his extra year on Weldering made him better. There were no other words but snob that the rogue could use to describe this Alphen. Indru was right on one point, it truly did not matter who had lost or won the most with the direction their lives had taken them in, but in this moment of weakness the losses he had suffered were all that he could think about. How could he ever love someone ever again? How could he ever find a pack to settle down into and move on? Was everyone expecting him to just forget his past and no longer feel this sting that Indru described.

Still standing up to his full height now his haughty figure facing Indru directly. Oh how he would have loved to lash out right now wildly with fangs and claws but he resisted the urge beginning to sense repercussions that would follow if he allowed himself to fully lose control. There was a big difference from snide remarks and growling to actually engaging into a fight, perhaps he'd win? Maybe he would lose - that did not matter. The problem was that Indru had a pack to back him up and Weldering had no-one. <b style="color:#0d5b8c; font-family:geogia; font-size:13px">"You don't give anyone respect, not even your own sisters." He yet again sneered. <b style="color:#0d5b8c; font-family:geogia; font-size:13px">"So why should I believe that you'd ever give me any respect no matter who I am or what I do. Your respect?" He huffed. <b style="color:#0d5b8c; font-family:geogia; font-size:13px">"Like that's a big loss. I don't need it."

Indru Tainn

Now what annoyed Indru the most about Weldering was his ability to think he knew everything about everything. His sisters? Well he knew nothing about them nor about their family interactions, he could presume all he liked and continue to let them be wrong. Was he saying that if he had a puppy run off from the safety of the pack land's he would not discipline them? He obviously cared about others. Don't pretend to know my family Weldering. Though his voice kept the same calm tone it was laced with something dangerous this time as who was he, this lone wolf with no ties, to try and pick faults in their family? Indru had helped raise his siblings, of course he knew them best. Junai was a wild wolf, one who would be out of control with discipline, he did not want her to end up like Ioni, any brother who cared would look after them the same.

Well that's good. The Tainn smirked, again the wolf seemed to think he cared that Weldering disliked him, a dislike stemmed from something so petty. I am glad you don't or we may end up with a serious problem. As unlike this black male Indru could brush previous issues aside, but at the moment even without their history he was acting like such a child Indru would never see him as anything other than an overgrown pup. Your lost. You need to grow up and you won't be able to do it alone. A wolf needs a pack. His tone made it clear that he was not joining Swift River at the moment even if he wanted too. Unless he acted the age he was supposed to be — hell, Kinis was more mature than this wolf — he would be welcome amongst his ranks.

Weldering Darksidy
The quick snappy comments previously made were more about Junai then Borlla. But then even with the small light coloured girl he had been very harsh with her as he tried to fill in as the packs father figure. Who elected him as not only their leader but their new parent as well. Sure he had guardian responsibilities but Weldering saw him as an extremist. <b style="color:#0d5b8c; font-family:geogia; font-size:13px">"Don't pretend you know them either." He scowled as he answered back to the tawny and cream brute standing right in front of him. Perhaps it was down to the fact that he had never had siblings or kin other then his own daughter which he briefly looked after. He did not understand the complex relationships and was only a stranger merely looking on on their life. But even so Weldering was picking faults, it was only natural to find whatever he could to try and knock Indru down a peg or too from the horse he rode in on.

'Your lost.' Weldering sneered again, did Indru really think that highly of himself? <b style="color:#0d5b8c; font-family:geogia; font-size:13px">"You think you're the business don'tcha?" Using a more subtle mocking tone now, in all honesty he was in disbelief. Was Indru trying to suggest that he should join Swift River and that he needed him? <b style="color:#0d5b8c; font-family:geogia; font-size:13px">"I'll join a pack when I'm ready, not when you tell me too. Not every wolf needs a pack." He'd met enough lone wolves around Relic-Lore and in various other places. Sure packlife was a lot more comfortable and easy but it was not always needed.

Indru Tainn

A laugh escaped Indru at the boy's words. Pretend he knew his siblings? Indru knew for a fact he knew everything about them, not only were the Tainn's a very close knit family Indru had spent a large portion of his life protecting and guarding them, teaching them and puppy sitting them. Of course he knew his siblings, they argued but they all loved each other without question, especially after their loss. Oh I don't need to pretend. Indru was confident on this matter and the remark made no dent on him, it was a remark tossed towards him without a shred of evidence of knowledge behind it, like most of Weldering's remarks really. Maybe your family was not like ours, but I have been with my siblings since pups, raised them, taught them.. Trust me, I know them. He could believe him or not, but only a fool wouldn't and only a fool would miss how much Indru cared for his family, how much he would give for them.

Not at all. I'm offering advice, some you'd be wise to take, he thought briefly. Any wolf was kidding themselves if they did not think they needed a pack — especially a wolf as young as Weldering. Surely even he could see the strength a pack gave, the loyalty, the security and no wolf was as strong as one in a pack — if he had not been in a pack for a long time at his age Indru doubted his skills. No wolf could teach themselves as well as their pack mates could. Good, I'd pity you more if I knew you'd join a pack on orders. Aside from the point Indru didn't even give any to him, only stating the obvious as wolves were pack creatures after all, but the touchy male took it as something else again. Though don't fool yourself there. Any wolf without a pack is a weaker wolf.
