There is a Full Moon

Oooooo she scares the hell out of me
Oooooo but that's how I like it to be

There was a lilt to the silvery wolf’s step as he finally left that fucking mountain. A wordless tune was hummed to nobody but himself as his rear continued to dip and sway to the tune while honey coloured eyes scanned the snow covered rise. A heavy sigh left his chest, billowing cloud of steam forming before his eyes and quickly dissipating. Still a blanket of white. When would his beloved flowers return? Truly his trip was not entirely pointless, the young prince was missing, and his mother, already half crazed had blown a fucking gasket, sending himself, Rais and the old advisor off to look for him. But it had to be better than dealing with the tension back home. Something was up - something he couldn’t quite place his paw on but if he knew @Rhysis, and he liked to think he did, he had to wonder how much longer he would be happy to remain on the mountain with such a ball-breaking bitch.

The sun had been high in the sky when he had left with his initial orders - to check the woods at the base of their section of the mountain, but finding a well marked trail left by @Mapplethorpe he thought better than to double up on paths already searched and headed south. If he started at the rise and worked northwards back to the woods he would cover far more ground. Now however, the sky was dark, full moon rising over the snowscape before him. Some would think to stop for the night, to rest, and press on in the morning, but Valiant enjoyed his manhood attached and so he would press on - searching for any sign of the missing boy. Just a little further. Just enough to feel the steady burn in his pads and in his limbs that would tell him it was time to stop.

Enoki Archer

In. Out. In. Out. This was the rhythmic pattern Enoki chose as she weaved her way through the trees. Her tail raised like a brilliant banner behind her while her jaw hung partly open to allow just the tip of her tongue to fall forth and taste the air as she trotted along. A small cloud of breath forming before her muzzle. Her thoughts were busy with her earlier encounter with the Ridge's matriarch and the invitation to join her ranks. It almost seemed like a dream to her. A blurry dream where the chance of finding a home was all too real. Was the young wolf really dreaming? Was she dreaming right now as her feet moved effortlessly beneath her to a destination unknown?

Awake. That was what she was while the world around her lay still, quiet. To sleep was to dream and to dream...was to leave one exposed and this was not acceptable to the lone wolf as ebony paws moved nearly in silence across the frozen ground beneath them, crunching the small blanket of snow that had covered the vast field of flowers that had popped above the earths surface for a short time before the chill of the night tucked the fiery plants back in for another cold sleep. For how long? Only mother nature was the one who held the answer to this question. Though the young female wished the time was short. The cold weather and snowfall had overstayed it's welcome in her opinion, but even she knew that she held no power in the ways of nature.

Continuing her trek across the rise Enoki kept her path of travel along the treeline, using the extra shadows given off by the towering trees to hide her silhouette though the cover of darkness was more than enough to hide the darkly hued wolf despite the few patches of white fur that stuck out like a sore thumb. Allowing her amber tinted eyes to break away from the horizon before her as her movement came to a halt, she then glanced upwards at the moon above. Full and glorious, casting its lunar beams across the land below to give Relic Lore a ghostly glow. Dropping her gaze back to the world around her, a quick scan of her surroundings followed before her still frame found motion once more, letting her black coat aid her in disappearing into the shadows like that of a ninja. Her bright amber eyes being the only indication of where her current position was.
