Bluerose
Bluerose wondered over the land with little thought to the flowers she trampled. Her head was low and her eyes cast lightly on the ground before her. She had been wondering this land for days and had yet to come across another wolf. It wasn't a bad thing in her mind, as she didn't really know what she would do if she met someone.
A light breeze brought her to a dead stop and she stood carefully taking in the land. A pack territory lay in the land before her and the scents rang with many members. Sighing she turned, ready to take another path around it but stopped as a falling leaf danced above her. Looking up she watched it glide through the air and come to rest before her. She stared at it for a moment before returning her gaze to the sky above her.
For years she had traveled, never stopping to look up. Yet within the last 2 days her attention had been called to it numerous times. The night before she had watched a great display as a meteor shower filled the heavens. She was surprised by the feeling of longing to be around others of her kind that filled her heart. She hadn't felt this way in a long time. Wondering if fate was trying to tell her something she sat down to think deeper.
She had felt lonely before, but mostly the loneliness called for the company of a family she could never return to. Now her lonely heart called for the safety of a pack. Was it the scent of the pack that drew this feeling from in her? Could the memories of her lost family be drawing her to find another family to live the remainder of her life with? Or as long as fate allowed her to be with in the comforting territory of a pack? She had found fate to be a cruel thing, that stole her father, mother, and siblings from her at a young age. Fate had cast her into a new pack of loving wolves, only to steal them from her, casting her into the wilderness alone once more.
Feeling the long reaching arms if fate at her door again Bluerose decided to allow it to take its course. She knew running from it only made her journey more difficult, and in the end fate would guide her back to its original path.
She stood but felt the weight of her travels on her shoulders. Feeling suddenly exhausted she sat down again and decided to rest a while before making her way to the new pack. Slipping down to the ground she rested her head on her paws, allowing her eyes to close.
Even as she rested her ears stayed alert, ready to draw her from sleep if anything dare approach to closely.

Athena Moon

Kissing her beautiful daughter upon the brow, "Mommy will be back in a little while. You be good for daddy, okay?" She asked, hoping that this would be the moment that Rory would actually use her words and speak to her instead of just nodding and smiling. Athena was a bit worried about her little girl. By this time, Belladonna, @Datura, @Aphrodite and Elliot were already speaking at least short sentences by now. However, @Rory has only made sounds and short words. Maybe she was just a late bloomer, she thought, putting her worries behind her for a moment. Once she told @Dziban where she was heading to, she made her way just out of the territory to her favorite place in the summer. The Rise.

As soon as her white paws stepped out of the borders, her adrenaline kicked in and she was off. Her body streaked across the horizon as she ran like a race horse over the red flowers. All her worries and thoughts left her mind as her slender legs took her faster and faster across the meadow. The flowers were getting taller and taller this time of year, but she easily bounded over them. Lifting her head up to the sky, she let the breeze comb through her fur as her body ran gracefully across Fireweed Rise. Unknowing to her, her grace was about to be faltered. Laying quietly in the grasses, another wolf was sound asleep. With her head still lifted towards the sky, her feet ran straight into the other she-wolf, making Athena do a complete somersault in the air as well as a few on the ground.

Fiery eyes flickered open as she recovered from her tumbleweed show, she lifted herself up slowly, making sure she wasn't hurt anywhere. Turning around to see what she had ran into, her eyes grew wide as her eyes fell on a furry body of another wolf. "Shit..." She whispered quietly to herself as she slowly made her way towards the other to see if she was alright.

Bluerose
Bluerose was thrown from sleep and another wolf tumbled over her. Startled and confused she stood up looking around. When she spotted the other wolf she lowered her head slightly. In an instant she made a judgment of the situation. The other wolf approached her without hostility and Blue determined she was not being attacked.
Taking on a more relaxed stance Blue lowered her head respectfully. This wolf smelled like the pack laying a short distance from where they stood. Even though this wasn't part of the pack territory she was still cautious as they were close enough for back up to be a call away. Not interested in setting the new wolf in a bad mood she spoke in a light voice. "Well that was a surprising way to wake up. Are you alright?" Blue glanced over her shoulder. "I guess I should apologize. I don't normally sleep in the middle of fields, and with all these flowers I must have been impossible to see until it was too late."
Blue's eyes remained calm, but a slight flick of her tail gave away her slight insecurity. She hadn't met another wolf in a long time and this was an unusual way to greet a member of a pack she was about to visit.
Was this fate again? It seemed like too much of a coincidence for a wolf to trip over her in such a large field. And right after she had made up her mind to go in search of a new pack.
As her adrenaline settled she began to feel the slight damage done by the crash encounter. Her side twitched slightly as she began to feel a bit uncomfortable and she knew she would be a little sore later on. Still she kept a calm look trying to keep this knowledge from the other wolf.
