Riddick Faye
@Andromache All right, let's date this a couple days after the funeral thread,...say Dec. 25? Late afternoon, deeeeeeeep snow.

Riddick poked his head out of the makeshift den he had dug in deep snow, blinking both sleeping sand and ice particles out of his odd eyes. The past couple of days had been absolutely disastrous, with blinding winds, travels through snow, and a sense of directional confusions. Now that the worst of it was over, the Faye could scope out his surroundings and see if he was close to Whisper Caverns. Blinking a few more times, Iddi was disheartened to see that he was nowhere close. In fact he wasn't so sure where he was at all.

Everything just looked white, and the the slope of the terrain was disturbingly unfamiliar. His ears flicked back in worry, Riddick pulled the rest of himself out of the snowy den. Almost immediately, his legs sunk into the cold stuff, and there was slight panic on the Faye's part as he struggled to strike a balance to where he could move. It was tough, but by spreading his limbs and toes apart he managed well enough. It was useless to put his nose to work, there was simply too much snow. He saw a frozen river down as the bottom of the ravine he was apparently in, and decided to head towards it.

He had to get back to his sister. It was imperative he got back. Winter might slow his cousin down, but it wouldn't stop him, and with spring's arrival Riddick had to be ready for whatever Flyn's plans were to hit with full force. Perhaps if he followed the river, it would lead him back the ones he was supposed to protect.
