She was once not particular fond of mountains, but as of late, it had grown on her very much. If there ever was a flood she and the pack would be safe. The view was phenomenal, and there were many, many caverns for dens. Yes, Amélie was now able to envision her life on the mountain clearly, and it would be lovely. Sure, the climb was not particularly fun, but nothing good comes easy, right?
Rhythmically she thumped her tail as she looked up at the floating clouds. She remembered looking up at them with her family at the sanctuary, pointing out the different shapes among them. Some of them looked like trees or shrubs, others even looked like wolves! As a little girl she would have a giggle-fest as she watched them, immensely amused by all the different silhouettes. She hoped to someday do the same with her own children, but only time would tell.
