@Rift An earful for the bad girl xD

February 25th - High Noon - Light Snow; 27 ° F, -3 ° C

Snow could be heard crunching beneath the heavy paws of something travelling quickly. The sun already settled high in the sky as the tawny man made his rounds for the second time that day, lifting a leg here and lifting a leg there to mark the borders of his domain with his scent. The markers didn't need the extra sprucing of male urine, but Vespertio was taking no chances of another loner thinking they could just waltz right into his territory even if they had a friend waiting on the other side of that invisible line. Lines were made for a reason. They kept intruders out and the pack safe. A reason that the yearling girl Rift needed a stern reminder of. So with a continuation of quick footwork his thick winter plush form was carried to a small clearing he found suitable to have the vital conversation with the agouti yearling as his head was thrown back to allow a summons for the girl bellow out from the depths of his throat. Resonating on the snow riddled pines surrounding him. Light snowfall cascading down from above as he waited, rich golden hues of his gaze scouring the treeline for the darkened shadow of the approaching member.

Only yesterday did a stranger breach the security of the pack, daring to cross over into the claimed land of the king in order to seek out the presence of the very wolf he now called upon. Foolishness overcame the girl in allowing him to remain inside the perimeter instead of shooing him off to the borders where he belonged until he could arrive to asses the situation. Although she had made one right move in calling for him. Even if it was a little on the late side. Still in the end the conflict had ended up adding another soul to the pot. A ragged looking man with tears in one ear and no use in his left eye. On top of the fresh wound upon his unorthodox arrival. 'Fallen Tree Cove, home of the deformed and dying.' Vespertio mocked in his head while his haunches came to touch the colorless powder with a solid thump. Hopefully Rift would show up soon. He had more important things to attend to in his kingdom than giving a young wolf a lecture.

Rift Longwood

Rift had been staying close to the den recently she knew what she had done was wrong but she wasn’t just going to abandon a friend especially not when he was injured. A sigh escaped her dark lips as she flopped down on to her belly placing a paw on her nose. She was a fool and a really bad pack wolf, the memories of her past floated her mind and she could not seem to suppress them. Her eyes grew hot and itchy as tears pressed their ways out and she shook her head angry whit herself and the world. A growl and she was back at her legs raking her claws on the ground and trees trying to let off steam. Tough soon her rage was interrupted by his summons and she stopped, watching what she had done terror filling her body and shame. She had done this much damage because of nothing, she felt guilt as she made her way towards him and his judgment on her.

As Rift made it to the place she dropped in the a submissive pose lowering herself even more them usually. Bowing her had “you called for me?” worry was easily found in her voice and she feared that she was making a mistake, she did not want his pity an yet neither did she want his anger. Or maybe his anger was just what see wanted, to fell that she was… her tough did out or rather she forced them to never aging would she fall to such a possession. True she was the lost ranked member, but she wasn’t going to stay like that she was not going to allow the whit devil to stay a bow her. tough she would have to get passed the present madder and she looked at him from below awaiting his judge meant.

Not long after his beckoning call grew fainter than a whisper did a rustle of the surrounding shrubs reveal the approaching tawny female. His golden hued optics watching every movement as her body quickly adopted a submissive posture in his presence, bringing forth his own posturing as hips rose to all fours again with the plush tail lifted rigidly over his spine and head rose to a regal height. At first Vespertio didn't offer an answer to her words allowing silence to fill the small clearing before a harsh clearing of his throat broke it. Ready to begin the conversation. Body relaxing only the slightest of degrees. "I'd like to talk about the incident the other day with your friend, Tagg. Are you aware of the danger you could have potentially caused the pack?" An unmistakable emphasis on friend as the flames of anger began to lick at his words. Brows raising expectantly.

Whether or not the girl before him knew the possible consequences that could have arose from actions of yesterday, it was completely foolish all the same. What if this friend of hers was sent by someone else, a spy of sorts, to infiltrate the ranks and report back with any weakness the pack exposed. Letting him slip so easily over the border without a second thought could have put each and every member of the pack at risk of some form of danger. Of course this was just paranoid thinking on the agouti patriarch's behalf, but it was still a viable possibility. The pack may be newly formed but that did little to stop those from pursuing enemies. From bringing down all possibly threats to secure their place in the lore however big it truly was. There was always someone who wanted more, wanted what others had. A low sigh broke the tight, thin lining of Vesper's lips as he waited for a response. Ears pricked forward patiently.
